Cheap Hotels in Seoul

"Excellent! The room was very clean and tidy, and the bathroom was spacious. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, so you don't have to worry about finding food. There's even an OY (shopping area/department store, assuming 'oy' is a typo for a local landmark or shopping area) nearby to explore. We were only there for a short time as we were attending concerts for two days, but we slept very well. There were 3 complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, so we didn't have to worry about being thirsty. If Inspire is still open next time, we'll definitely stay here again~"

"The room was okay, just a bit too small for the three of us. I didn't get a good night's sleep any day, and my daughter threw up all four nights. It's a shame there was no bathtub. The breakfast was really good; we had it all four mornings. The gym on the top floor was great, but I was too busy each day to use it. The room was cleaned daily, but it wasn't spotless. That said, I wouldn't say there were any major problems – it was still pretty good overall. The subway station was a bit of a walk, but acceptable. Since I was with my dad and daughter, pushing a stroller made it a bit more inconvenient. I was very satisfied with the breakfast. The worst part was how cold Korea was; I came back with a cold."

"Very nice and modern hotel. Staff was very friendly. We didn’t book breakfast because outside of the hotel are various breakfast options so we decided to save some money. The spa was very nice and clean. The cleanliness in the room was ok but could have been a little better. It was nice to have the options with different pillows. For us the mattress was very hard, but it might be normal in Korea. Location was really good and we appreciated the great ride with the airport shuttle. We felt like celebrities 😉"

"Extremely satisfied! The overall ambiance has a very Japanese feel. After a long day of sightseeing, it was great to come back and relax in the bathtub. It's not particularly close to Gongdeok Station, probably a 10-15 minute walk, but it's closer to Mapo. If you're traveling by bus, it's super convenient as there's a bus stop right downstairs. Plus, there's a Twosome Place, Olive Young, McDonald's, and Starbucks right below, and a food street with lots of dining options just across the road."

"We stayed here for a business trip. It's very close to the Seoul outlets, which makes shopping super convenient. The only downside is that the dining options nearby aren't great. We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, and the only place still open was the fried chicken restaurant run by the hotel on the first floor. Everyone there was Chinese, too."

"The location is very central and close to everything, so I would definitely recommend this hotel for first-time visitors. The staff were super kind and always greeted us warmly. Since the hotel is located in a busy central area, the elevators were often crowded, and there were many guests staying at the hotel, including tour groups. However, they assigned us a room on a higher floor at the end of the hallway, so our room was very quiet, which I really appreciated. If your room is near the elevator or facing the street, you may hear some noise, especially at night. Overall, we had a very nice stay at the hotel. And seeing Nam-San Tower from our room was wonderful too."

"Three of us stayed here for three days. On the first two days, a kind gentleman with excellent English and a great attitude helped us. When he heard there was an issue with the hot water in our room, he immediately came up with us to check, but unfortunately, he couldn't completely resolve the intermittent hot water problem at night. The hotel's location is excellent, just a ten-minute walk to Myeongdong. Navigation was a bit tricky due to ongoing road construction, but overall, the location is superb and very quiet. I wouldn't recommend it for a solo female traveler, though, as the walk back to the hotel can be very quiet and dark. There are two convenient stores nearby, which is a plus. The room was spacious enough to open three suitcases. The bathroom was a bit small. It had a refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would consider staying here again. The nearby restaurants were also excellent."

"The room has a double bunk bed setup, accommodating four people in total, and the bunks are quite spacious. There are already plenty of real photos of the rooms online, so I won't repost them. Let's focus on the room type differences: The standard room and deluxe room have identical amenities; the only difference is that the deluxe room is slightly larger. There's no need to pay extra to upgrade. The provided amenities are very thoughtful – no need to prepare anything beforehand! The room comes with a universal adapter + a 3-in-1 charging cable, as well as slippers, towels, and disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. You can check in empty-handed without any issues, so sisters who haven't prepped their essentials don't need to panic. The showering experience was perfect. The shower head had excellent water pressure, and there was an ample supply of hot water, allowing for continuous showers without any problems. Now for the minor drawbacks: The duvet cover isn't made of pure cotton, so it makes a rustling sound when you turn over at night, which slightly affected my sleep. The mattress is also on the softer side, so friends who prefer a firm bed might find it uncomfortable. However, it's incredibly cost-effective, and the location is absolutely fantastic, making it super convenient to get anywhere. These small flaws are completely acceptable. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and there are also snack stalls downstairs. However, the stalls only accept cash, and the prices aren't particularly cheap. The taste is mediocre, so just try them for the experience. Also, the induction cooktop in the 7th-floor restaurant is not operational, but all other facilities are in good working order."

"Super great location! I liked that the hotel wasn’t in the same building as the shops. This meant more privacy and no elevator sharing with the public. The hotel staff were all great. They even allowed us to check in earlier which was such a pleasant surprise. I would definitely consider booking here again on my next Korea visit"
