"Seeing it was a newly opened Intercontinental brand hotel, I booked it. And it definitely lived up to expectations when I arrived. Facilities: As a new hotel, it has everything you'd expect: a gym, self-service laundry room, an infinity heated pool, and public hot tubs. Ambiance: Very good, I really liked the decor style, quite similar to an Indigo hotel. Service: The service from both the front desk and the restaurant staff was very enthusiastic. Although there were some minor details where they seemed a bit inexperienced, overall it was great."

"This was a spontaneous trip, and the results were incredibly satisfying. The hotel service was fantastic; anything I needed was delivered promptly. What truly stood out was that even before check-in, the butler called to ask if we were traveling with children and arranged for kid's amenities to be prepared in the room in advance. That was incredibly thoughtful ❤️ The Dongfengyun Meijingge (Hotel Indigo) has stunning design. The hotel itself is a destination, even better to explore and photograph than the actual tourist spots. The architectural aesthetics create an amazing atmosphere, and the infinity pool is perfect for photos. Every building makes for a great photo opportunity; I even hired a photographer from the hotel, and the pictures turned out amazing. I loved it. The hotel butler upgraded our room. The kids love swimming, and besides the infinity pool, our room even had a hot tub, which made them very happy. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering an excellent experience. The buffet breakfast had a decent variety, with both Chinese and Western options, and plenty of delicious food. The only minor drawback was the occasional rainy weather."

"The room isn't huge, but it's very clean. The hotel's location is excellent, with a bus stop just 70 meters away, making it super convenient to get to the Southeast Yunnan Market and various attractions. It's also within walking distance to Ecocycle Lake, traditional Mile snack shops, and lamb noodle restaurants. I stayed for two nights, and the hotel even offered a pick-up service from the high-speed rail station. The 'Xiaodu Xiaodu' smart assistant controlling the lights, music, and curtains in the room was incredibly convenient. Definitely worth staying here."

"Facilities: The hotel is divided into ABCDE blocks. Block A is by the water, Block C has a breakfast restaurant, and Block E is close to the hot springs. My child loves feeding fish and swans, so we chose Block A, which has a very comfortable Southeast Asian style. We could take the hotel shuttle to other areas, and it was always readily available, which was very convenient. However, if you book Block A during the rainy season, I recommend getting a room facing the outer lake. Otherwise, you might end up like us, initially in a corner room facing the inner lake, where water flooded in due to the terrain. As you can see in the pictures, avoid the corner rooms on both sides (the photos with sunlight); the outer lake rooms are the best choice (the photos without sunlight), as you can feed both fish and swans from there. Environment: The hotel is located right in the Lake Spring Ecological Park, a very comfortable and free large park with great ecology and not many people. If it weren't for the heavy rain, I would have truly loved it here. Breakfast: The restaurant is spacious, and the food selection is extensive – absolutely wonderful. Outside the breakfast restaurant is another lake with koi fish, swans, and even squirrels in the trees, which the kids adored. We later tried the à la carte menu at another restaurant, Swan Lake, which was also good, though the staff seemed a bit aloof. Service: We encountered heavy rain and our room getting flooded, so we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. The staff helped us with the room change, and many employees were tirelessly pumping water and wiping down the corridors – they worked very hard. We also received complimentary fruit and snacks in our room. Out of the four hotels we stayed at, this was our child's favorite. It's a shame we couldn't experience the hot springs due to the rain. On a side note, my child and I were trapped by a downpour at Qianwang Gate in the middle of the night and sought help from the hotel, but they said no car could come to assist us. "Traveling in Yunnan with my kids for a week, we stayed at three hotels: Wyndham Grand, Naga.S, and Atour. Atour was by far our favorite! 👍👍 During this peak travel season, at the other two hotels, I had to wake up every night in the early hours to do laundry, because that was the only time I could find an available washing machine. Then I'd have to time it perfectly to get to the dryer. I barely got any sleep. I honestly thought all hotels were like this, until I got to Atour and found out their laundry room has staff who do it for you! You just drop off your clothes with your room number, and they wash, dry, and fold them, then deliver them to your room. That's absolutely amazing! Plus, the hotel's environment, cleanliness, and breakfast were all excellent. The other two hotels should really take some notes!"

"Although the room rate was slightly higher than usual during the summer holidays, it was still excellent value for money. The complimentary experiential activities were genuine and well-executed, not just for show. The environment was lovely, and the room was very clean. The check-in receptionist, Mitao, was also very enthusiastic. They arranged shuttle transfers whenever we needed to go somewhere, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the Kaleidoscope. We'll definitely come again next time. (I recommend staying in the main building, as many activities like hot springs and singing bowls are located there.)"

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, particularly because of its quiet atmosphere and attention to detail. The room I stayed in featured an onsen-style bathtub combined with a shower area, and I appreciated that the hotel provided a bottle of sanitizing solution to enhance hygiene and guest comfort. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The hotel also offers self-service laundry facilities, including washing machines and dryers on the rooftop, which is very convenient for longer stays. Guests are also welcome to use the rooftop onsen pool, providing a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing. Although the rooms do not come with a minibar, the hotel compensates by offering complimentary ice cream and additional bottled drinking water at the reception level. While the ice cream was not delicious, the extra refreshments were a thoughtful touch. It will be good if the hotel not to allow guests smoke in common area such as dining hall for breakfast. Overall, this hotel stands out for its peaceful environment, cleanliness, convenient access to food and park, and thoughtful amenities at very reasonable room rate. I would gladly stay here again."

"The experience of staying on this business trip was particularly comfortable, the hotel was conveniently located, the surrounding facilities were complete, and the commute was very convenient.
