Hotels with Breakfast in Rotterdam

The hotel's location is excellent, right outside the metro station, and close to both the water bus stop and the bridge. The room was spacious enough, but the shower design was a bit odd; the half-glass partition completely failed to prevent water from splashing out. Because the room faced the main road, it couldn't entirely block out the noise from the tram. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of options. Housekeeping wasn't thorough enough, as the hair in the sink wasn't cleaned for several consecutive days of my stay.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is great, close to all the major tourist attractions. Initially, we booked a room with our breakfast. The receptionist offered to upgrade us to executive room with breakfast and the room was immediately ready for our early check-in. The breakfast experience was very good. We were greeted by the head chef who did our dishes well. The only thing that did not go so well is the elevator maintenance. Of the two elevators one was under maintenance so the waiting time was quite long. But we were warned about this when we checked in.

We really liked the hotel and our room. The air conditioning worked very well, the room had a lovely view, and the lobby offered several comfortable areas for working. We also appreciated the self-service Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby. There are only a few areas that could be improved. The mattress and bedding felt quite old and overly soft, so the bed did not provide the comfort we would expect from a hotel of this standard. The bathroom door did not close properly and had a large cut-out, which offered very little privacy and did not feel appropriate. Housekeeping also arrived quite late, usually at around 3:00 p.m., and some of the rubbish bins were not emptied. Overall, we had a good stay and would rate the hotel four stars, but improving the beds, bathroom privacy, and housekeeping consistency would make the experience even better.

The room was very clean and the hotel had great access to the Grand Place, with many lively restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. Getting there from the station involved a lot of slopes and cobblestone streets, which might be a bit challenging with heavy luggage, but it wasn't far. The twin room we stayed in on the second floor didn't have an elevator, and it was hard to carry our heavy bags up. According to the floor plan, most other rooms seemed to have elevators, so maybe we just got unlucky with our room. However, it didn't face the street, so it was quiet. Being on the second floor, we could only see a mural from our window, but a friend who stayed in a single room on the fifth floor said they could see the Grand Place, so higher floors might offer better views. The front desk staff were friendly and happily stored our luggage for the next day. Overall, it was a good hotel. I'd like to stay here again if I have the chance.

The room was very spacious, and the hotel's proximity to the Central Station made it incredibly convenient for traveling to other cities and nearby attractions. The standout feature was definitely the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of fresh food, including a great selection of fruits (with blueberries!). The freshly made waffles and omelets were also impressive and delicious. The only minor drawback was the slightly small shower stall with a fixed showerhead, which was a bit inconvenient. However, there was a bathtub available.

The price is incredibly competitive, the rooms are well-equipped, and the views are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was generous, and dinner was delicious. Most of the staff I encountered were incredibly warm and friendly.

This hotel is a great choice for business trips to Rotterdam. It's centrally located with lots of shops nearby. Both the bathroom and the room itself were quite comfortable. Being so close to the train station means you won't be rushing to catch a train to Amsterdam for your flight!

Centrally located Well maintained Staff need personal skills on how to interact with guests, and be helpful in need No A/C [or was out of service] and the room was like an oven when we stepped in, and we chose to spend most of the time outside because of that, and returned back to room just to crash Next day we had a fire alarm, and thats when all the drama strated Guy behind the counter was clueless on how to reset the alarm. Elevators were knocked out. Staff behind counter clueless on the hardships faced by guests (and unwilling to help) Not only did we have to climb stairs all the way to 7th floor, and we had to bring our 3 suitcases down seven floors by ourself Staff unapologetic or unwilling to help on a bright warm sunny day? WOW! Mind boggling

The room was decent but unfortunately the window was right above the entrance as everyone is smoking right under it, so don't think about opening the window. We arrived and there was a sock on the smoke alarm, went downstairs to notify reception and another customer told us it had been there when he stayed days back. Clearly people smoking in rooms, but we couldn't smell it much so that's a plus. The reception staff came to take it down swiftly but it should have been caught way earlier by the cleaning staff! The bathroom was nice. WiFi worked great in rooms as well.

Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city. Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.
