"It is more like a smart hostel so not there were not many people helping, but our CityHost Jed was very helpful and helped us with our check-in. The facilities were very clean and complete with everything one would need for a stay, including towels, shampoo and even a bath robe was provided. It was worth the money and would definitely stay there again!"

"We stayed at Ibis Rotterdam City Centre for three nights. The location is great and the staff were generally friendly, but unfortunately we had repeated issues with the room heating. On the first night, the heating in our room (112) was not working and we were very cold. Since no technicians were available at night, the reception could not offer a solution, and the problem was fixed the next morning. However, on the third night the heating broke down again and started blowing cold air, this time only in our room. The staff were unable to fix it, so we had to change rooms late at night and move all our belongings to a new room. The new room worked fine, but the experience was quite inconvenient. Having the same issue twice and needing to move rooms made our stay less comfortable than expected."

The location is helpful and walkable distance to the metro but it’s confusing to find without directions. The spa pool was closed during our stay unfortunately bringing the amenities down since that was a main attraction. Appreciate the helpful staff."

"There was a cigarette butt on the floor in the room! We arrived on the day of the annual summer carnival, so the roads were closed and it was incredibly crowded – we could barely move. Getting to the hotel meant pushing through crowds and parade-goers, it was an absolute nightmare! If it had been a normal day, it would have been about a 15-minute walk from the train station. They required a credit card deposit for check-in. I stayed two nights and was charged 100 Euros."

"I arrived much earlier than the check in time  and waited at the coffee shop. They informed me once the room is ready so it wasn’t a long wait. Appreciate the flexibility. The staff were friendly and helpful. You could contact them via WhatsApp and staff were responsive.  The room was clean and tidy. I loved the colour tone.  They offered some green apples and they tasted nice too.  The only improvement would be adding a desk lamp for the work table. It was not bright enough.  The hotel is 15-20 mins away by walking from the central station. There was a tram stop nearby and it only took you around 5 mins to get there."

"The hotel itself is like a mini museum. Love the interior design! Staff are very friendly, there is no lift, but the kind staff helped me carried my huge suitcase all the way up to the 3rd floor. It’s be even better to have a kettle or hairdryer in the room. Had a comfortable stay, would definitely stay here again if I come back to visit Rotterdam! Thanks for the lovely stay!"
