Hotels with Bars in Rotterdam

I loved everything this hotel is trying to do which is why I booked it - and I wasn’t disappointed! The hotel is comfy, well appointed and the level of thought in the sustainable construction and running of the hotel is next level. The room was well designed and laid out particularly the gold back bathroom door. For breakfast there is the extensive menu which at €18 is not cheap (and in my mind should include a barista coffee), or the more price conscious barista coffee and a pastry for €5.50. My only disappointment was that some of the staff were quite offhand, scowling and sighing if you asked a question, and talking negatively about other guests in front of me (a guest). Training will resolve this …

Nice stay! Location is good when you go to a happy village, maybe for the rest a little further. Room beautifully decorated for my mother's birthday. All clean, top for each other!

This hotel is in a very convenient location if you need to be at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Staff at reception was very friendly and welcoming and the room is spacious and at first sight looks comfortable (it looks better in reality than on the photos I took). Unfortunately, the beds are extremely soft though. That is of course a matter of personal preference and some guests may like the soft mattresses, but I couldn't sleep on them. Fortunately, there was a sofa in the room that was large enough to sleep on and much more comfortable than the beds;-) I might stay here again because of the location, but in terms of beds this would probably not be my first choice.

We really liked the hotel and our room. The air conditioning worked very well, the room had a lovely view, and the lobby offered several comfortable areas for working. We also appreciated the self-service Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby. There are only a few areas that could be improved. The mattress and bedding felt quite old and overly soft, so the bed did not provide the comfort we would expect from a hotel of this standard. The bathroom door did not close properly and had a large cut-out, which offered very little privacy and did not feel appropriate. Housekeeping also arrived quite late, usually at around 3:00 p.m., and some of the rubbish bins were not emptied. Overall, we had a good stay and would rate the hotel four stars, but improving the beds, bathroom privacy, and housekeeping consistency would make the experience even better.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Rotterdam – easily one of the highlights of my trip.From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole check-in process smooth and հաճ pleasant. The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the bedding to the lighting and overall atmosphere.I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rotterdam.

This is a great hotel. There's a snack street nearby, and the light rail and subway are right downstairs, making transportation super convenient. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room is clean and tidy with smart home features. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Conveniently located just 15 minutes from both the train station and the main shopping district, this hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the area. It stands out as one of the better options in its category, offering comfort and excellent service. The staff are a true highlight – friendly, attentive, and responsive to all enquiries. A special mention goes to Merle, who went above and beyond to assist us with travel arrangements. Her warm and professional manner made a lasting impression. One area for improvement is the breakfast offering. Guests with dietary restrictions or those who avoid meat and eggs may find the options somewhat limited. Expanding the menu to cater to a wider range of dietary needs would enhance the overall experience. Overall, a highly recommended stay with thoughtful service and a prime location.

Very good hotel, spacious and comfortable room. I found some dust in the coffee machine and in a few other spots, but otherwise it was quite clean and comfortable, with good beds and enough storage. A shame there were no sheer curtains on the windows, as there was a lot of direct view into the room! The breakfast was good quality but a bit simple, though still very tasty. The staff were super nice, and the hotel smells pleasant when you walk in, which is lovely. Overall, a very good hotel. I would come back if I'm ever in Rotterdam again. Thanks!

The room was decent but unfortunately the window was right above the entrance as everyone is smoking right under it, so don't think about opening the window. We arrived and there was a sock on the smoke alarm, went downstairs to notify reception and another customer told us it had been there when he stayed days back. Clearly people smoking in rooms, but we couldn't smell it much so that's a plus. The reception staff came to take it down swiftly but it should have been caught way earlier by the cleaning staff! The bathroom was nice. WiFi worked great in rooms as well.

However, some guests have noted that rooms can feel smaller than expected, and the dark interior may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city. Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.
