Coming out of the train station, we took two tram stops to reach the hotel. The entrance was small, but once inside, it was a different world, with a charm reminiscent of old Shanghai hotels. The room wasn't big, and the facilities were decent, but the ventilation was poor and there was no air conditioning. I can't imagine how one would manage in the summer.

I booked and paid extra for a room with one double bed for two people, but the hotel gave me a room with two single beds pushed together instead. This was not what I paid for. In addition, the rooms were extremely noisy. I could clearly hear conversations and noise from the neighboring rooms as if they were inside our room. Stayed for one night because of a concert at De Doelen. Friendly staff. Check-in was a little bit messy. The room was good for one night. Small but had everything we needed (no air conditioning, which they really need to look into as the room was warm). There was a fan, though. Easy access to the shopping center.

This is hands down the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. I was there for five nights, and every single night was incredibly loud – constant motorcycle noise and construction, it was just unbelievably noisy. Even though it's in the city center, I will absolutely never stay here again if I come back to Rotterdam for business. The service was also very mediocre, on top of it being a super, super noisy hotel.

This hotel is a great choice for business trips to Rotterdam. It's centrally located with lots of shops nearby. Both the bathroom and the room itself were quite comfortable. Being so close to the train station means you won't be rushing to catch a train to Amsterdam for your flight!
