Exceptional Stay at Gran Hotel Miramar GL I had a truly wonderful experience at Gran Hotel Miramar GL during my stay from November 1st to 4th, 2025. The hotel is stunning—elegantly designed with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a beautiful view. The staff were exceptionally professional and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. Every detail, from the check-in process to the housekeeping service, was handled with care and efficiency. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The hotel's location is ideal—peaceful yet close to the beach and city attractions. Overall, Gran Hotel Miramar GL exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Málaga.

It really exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious, and toothbrushes were already thoughtfully provided, so I didn't even need to ask the front desk. The complimentary bottled water was a premium brand. The only minor drawbacks were the slightly small rooftop and a rather tiny pool, which was primarily suitable for lounging and sunbathing.

Fully self-service check-in and check-out. I downloaded the app in advance and unlocked the room door with just my phone. When checking out, I just clicked on the app to check out. The location is a bit out of the way, on a small side street with few shops nearby. However, ordering takeout from Uber Eats was convenient. I didn't know there was one in Malaga's Old Town until after I booked. Next time I visit, I'll definitely choose the Old Town location for more convenient dining and shopping. The room was smaller than I expected, but it was more than enough for three people. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and a microwave, and there was a welcome gift upon arrival. I left a coat in the room, and although I couldn't return to retrieve it, it would have been much better service if the hotel had contacted me. Of course, for a serviced apartment, it was clean and tidy, which was quite good!

The staff is very friendly and the location is good. I booked a twin room, but they upgraded me to a triple room?? I booked a room without a view, and I understand that there is no view, but the window could not be opened properly. During quarantine during the corona period, the window opens just enough to let in air. Also, there is an opaque sheet on the window, so it feels like I am in a motel, not a hotel. The staff was very friendly, but why,,, again???ㅎㅎ

Great hotel.  Spotlessly clean.  Everything in the room looks new.  Bathroom brilliant, large shower cubicle with rainfall shower.  Bed really comfortable.  Location a few minutes walk from old town. Breakfast good as was included in the cost.

I liked the location and the newly renovated accommodation. The reception staff were especially friendly, which made checking in a very pleasant experience. However, the bathroom drainage issue mentioned in other reviews here is a drawback that needs to be fixed. It seems like the bathroom tiles are sloped incorrectly; when showering, the water doesn't flow into the drain, but instead pools at the edges of the bathroom. As a temporary fix, I had to block the water flow with towels while using the bathroom. Other than telling reception and getting plenty of extra towels to use, no real action was taken (though to be fair, it's a structural issue due to the drainage slope, so it's not something that can be fixed immediately). Since it hadn't been resolved despite being pointed out in previous reviews, the bottom edge of the wooden bathroom door was already rotting, making it impossible to close the door. Judging from other past reviews, this seems to be an issue limited to the specific room I stayed in. If you just check at check-in to ensure you aren't given a room with drainage problems, this is a hotel I would recommend. As for the street noise, I knew what to expect when booking a place in the old town, so it was manageable.

Room is large. Have small bar and have a long arm sofa. Bathroom size is not small. It has a separate bath tub and shower room. Bed is comfortable and air conditioning is good, especially in Spain. It's critical. The location is good. We just walk from the Train Station with 15 minutes. Also it is not far away from the old town where there are many restaurants and shops over there.

Líbere runs an excellent facility with comfortable beds and wonderful location perfectly positioned in old town Màlaga. Staff were friendly helpful and competent. A minor ding for the apartment missing a few basic items that we have had in other longer-stay apartments, and this is a company policy. We would stay here again.

The hotel is nice, far from the city center, but there are buses that take 40 minutes to get there. If you are not in a hurry, you can consider it. Malaga Atlas is only 6 stops away, so it is also convenient for shopping.
