Guest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Railwayparc Montreal, Tapestry Collection by Hilton for one night (June 28–29) with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience.
From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made us feel welcome. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and guided us through the check-in process with a smile, making everything quick and hassle-free.
We stayed in an accessible room, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and very peaceful, allowing us to relax comfortably. The accessible bathroom was especially impressive—it was large, well designed, and featured both a spacious walk-in shower and an accessible bathtub, which was a great touch.
The hallways and common areas were also spotless and quiet, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.
The only small suggestion I have is that it would be great if the hotel could provide room slippers. Since the bathroom has tile flooring, it became quite cold to walk on barefoot, and having slippers available would make the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, we had an excellent stay and were very impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding customer service. I would gladly stay here again the next time I visit Montreal and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

My stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Montreal from April 3–5, 2026 was an overall very positive experience.
The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore Old Montreal and nearby attractions without any hassle. The suite-style rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a full day out. I especially appreciated the separate living area, which added a nice touch of comfort and privacy.
The complimentary breakfast was a standout feature, offering a solid variety of hot options like eggs, meats, and potatoes, not just a basic continental spread. It definitely set a good tone for the day. The evening reception was another highlight the happy hour drinks were excellent, with a great selection and a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day.
Service was friendly and professional throughout my stay. Staff were helpful, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth and efficient.
If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be that the hotel can get a bit busy during peak hours, especially around breakfast time, but that’s expected given its popularity.
Also the parking was a bit pricey .
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for couples, business travelers, or anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Montreal. I would gladly stay here again.

We reserved a more expensive king room a very long time ago, but finally we got a double bed room on our first day without any refund, what we got is only complementary breakfast, for a couple it’s extremely bad experience.
We ask for daily cleaning and I do remind the staff at the front desk before I leave the room for journey on a day, but we found that the cleaning lady forget cleaning the room and the lady pass the buck that we put the do not disturb sign at the door handler which is not the FACT!
Also we are care about safe at lobby, but we do found tramp coming lobby for a free coffee at self serve coffee machine, hotel need to address this serious problem as soon as possible, I sincerely hope the hotel can read this review seriously and understand my disappointment.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is not too far from the subway station, but there is a construction site nearby. Stayed for three days and the room was not cleaned on the second day. The towels were stained and the breakfast selection was very simple.
The room was large and the bed was very comfortable.

My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms.
We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow.
For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests.
Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name.
Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings.
I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on.

LivyC75The hotel room was very spacious and well-designed with a large comfortable bed. There’s also a sauna with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The location is just north of Berri-UQAM station which makes travel convenient, although the area itself isn’t particularly safe and during the summer months, it’s clear there are a lot of individuals suffering from homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles who use the surrounding neighbourhood parks to hang out. The hotel staff were generally helpful although there were a few times we made requests to the front desk that needed following up. The amenities in the room itself felt very well-maintained. One downside was that there was no free bottled water provided and we had to buy water from the shop in the hotel lobby, which was heavily overpriced and we thought it was a bit ridiculous considering the price we were paying for the room. Overall, would recommend as it is a cheaper hotel than others but this comes with a price in terms of area safety and amenities provided by the hotel.

The hotel is at a very convenient location. It’s not that new but very cozy and clean.
They have 24hrs coffee, tea, water, which is really great.
And the welcome gift (snacks) is really helpful if you arrives late but don’t want to eat outside or heavy.

Guest UserYou have to be very clear that this is a student residence.
The good:
Pretty good location
Good price for what's available in Montreal
Instant hot water with good pressure
Very good breakfast
The bad:
It's not a hotel. It lacks hotel amenities, for example, a hairdryer.
Extremely hard bed.
Double rooms but with separate beds in two rooms.
Windows that offer very little insulation from street noise, and it's a main street with a lot of traffic.

Guest UserFront desk, breakfast crew and housekeeping were great. Unfortunately my husband was eaten alive by BED BUGS!! Housekeeping came to inspect the bed and found it on the bed and the pillow. I was fairly calm at the time because I was just in shock and just wanted to leave to wipe all our belongings down, but when Hotel manager didn't call us the next day as promised by the front desk manager I felt really disregarded as a paying customer. We had to call them back and after going back and forth they refuse to give us a refund! Our vacation was cut short because we had to go straight home to wash our belongings worried that an infestation might occur from our drive back to Pickering from Montreal. The drive home was very uncomfortable for my husband, my daughter is traumatized and I was just overall disgusted!! When we got home we had to ***** down in our backyard and left all our belongings outdoors for 2 days just to make sure we didn't bring anything in. We then had to wash everything in hot water which lead to some of our clothes shrinking. It is now 4 days since the incident occurred and still no satisfactory resolution! We will NEVER stay at another Ramada again.
