"The local is perfect, close to downtown, so there are many groceries, restaurants and shopping stores. The hotel also not far from attractions such as old montreal, old port ~ 2 km (walkable). The room was very clean and enough space for 2 persons and luggage. The Amenities were excellent, I liked that there was sofa in the room. So, highly recommend, absolutely worth for money"

"The location of the hotel is really very convenient. First of all, it is in the city center, there is a bus stop downstairs, and there is a subway station about eight minutes away, which is very convenient to go anywhere.
Secondly, the room is very clean and comfortable, equipped with a full kitchen, which is convenient for breakfast or buying some drinks in the refrigerator.
There is an IGA supermarket a few minutes away, and there is also a Carrefour in Chinatown, which is very convenient for buying daily necessities.
It is a five or six minute walk from Chinatown, which can well satisfy the Chinese stomach during travel.
In short, it is recommended"

"The location was great. It was right next to the subway station, so it was easy to get around, and the simple but free breakfast was good. LLivyC75The hotel room was very spacious and well-designed with a large comfortable bed. There’s also a sauna with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The location is just north of Berri-UQAM station which makes travel convenient, although the area itself isn’t particularly safe and during the summer months, it’s clear there are a lot of individuals suffering from homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles who use the surrounding neighbourhood parks to hang out. The hotel staff were generally helpful although there were a few times we made requests to the front desk that needed following up. The amenities in the room itself felt very well-maintained. One downside was that there was no free bottled water provided and we had to buy water from the shop in the hotel lobby, which was heavily overpriced and we thought it was a bit ridiculous considering the price we were paying for the room. Overall, would recommend as it is a cheaper hotel than others but this comes with a price in terms of area safety and amenities provided by the hotel.

GGuest UserThe location and staff of the hotel were great, but the facilities were very outdated. It was disappointing that when I looked out of the window, I could only see the wall, and as soon as I opened the door, the bed was right there, which was regrettable.
Due to the fact that there are three hotels with the same name in downtown, it is important to double-check the address and make sure you find the correct one.

QQINGHUAThe hotel is right next to the University of Montreal, close to the Botanical Gardens and the Olympic Park. It is a few minutes walk away and the location is not bad. There are not many ideal restaurants nearby. Parking is free, with a registration for a coin. Although the hotel is like a school guest house, it is clean and tidy, with a four-star standard.

MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well.
This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate.
I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.

JJoyful SoloI recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.
The experience was mixed. The room itself looked quite old, with dirt on the walls, a broken curtain that couldn't be opened, and no door for the shower area. There were no basic amenities like a toothbrush, toothpaste, or slippers. The walls seemed very thin; I could hear the neighboring room’s sneezes and even the sound of their toilet flushing as if it were in my own room.
On the positive side, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the location is fantastic—just a few minutes' walk from the metro station. There's a cozy coffee and tea station by the lobby.
The breakfast was decent, with both hot items and a continental selection.
Overall, it’s reasonable for the price. With this room rate, we get what we pay for.

SShawn FuThe hotel provides excellent service and is very flexible in accommodating additional requests. The room was very clean and quiet, and the breakfast was plentiful. Although the location is not in the city center, in pleasant weather, it is easy to walk west to the downtown area. Walking northeast leads to a typical Quebec residential area with a French-speaking community and restaurants. It was an excellent stay. Thank you to the owner and staff!
L'hôtel offre un excellent service et est très flexible pour répondre aux demandes supplémentaires. La chambre était très propre et calme, et le petit-déjeuner était copieux. Bien que l'emplacement ne soit pas en plein centre-ville, par beau temps, il est facile de marcher vers l'ouest pour rejoindre le centre-ville. En se dirigeant vers le nord-est, on découvre un quartier résidentiel typique du Québec avec une communauté francophone et des restaurants. Ce fut un séjour exceptionnel. CcrystalyangObjectively speaking, for this price and location, there is no need for service and environment. It seems that there is Hyatt not far away, but the price is completely different. But the most inappropriate thing about this hotel is that the front desk actually recorded my credit card number when I asked for a deposit. A few days later, the bank said that it suspected that my card was stolen and the card-not-present transaction failed. Fortunately, I did not believe her explanation and turned around to open the payment lock of the credit card, so there was no loss. During the entire trip, none of the hotels recorded my credit card information. They all swiped the card directly and froze it with the POS machine. This is the normal operation. You can figure out the rest yourself.
