Sofitel Montréal Golden Mile

This is the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in! The decor and service were both unsatisfactory.

The water at the minibar is chargeable, but overall it's quite good.

Don't book it. The feeling from the moment you enter is very bad. I almost never write reviews, but this one is really bad. They didn't tell me that the gym will be closed until November, and they were unapologetic when confirming. The room is carpeted, and the shower gel bottle is empty and not installed. I was just stupid in the bathroom and didn't know what to do. The hair dryer is very old and only has heat but no wind. I called the front desk to ask for a few bottles of water and asked how many people were staying? They sent it reluctantly. It was the first time I encountered a situation where they were unwilling to give me water when I asked for it. The room is not soundproof, and the first floor is being renovated. The overall travel directly affected me and I was completely in no mood. The price of 2,600 a night is no different from that of a two-star hotel in China. I originally booked four days, and I bought check-out insurance when booking the room. I decisively checked out and moved to VOUGE. It was much cleaner and more enthusiastic. My mood recovered a lot.
