Guest UserThis hotel in Battelle Point offers a fantastic, tranquil environment. The free parking is a huge plus. The room layout is very well designed, and the small balcony provides a great view. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you don't need to bring your own cookware. You can buy groceries at the nearby Red and Green supermarkets if you plan to cook, just remember to get your own cooking oil – the hotel even provides salt and pepper! Highly recommend.

Guest UserStayed at the RACV Hotel Hobart for 4 days
The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc.
There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk.
The rooms are clean and modern, the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant.
Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink in the lovely lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace.
The staff are all friendly and efficient.
I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious.
Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,

Guest UserThe facilities were clean and tidy. The only downside was that I had completed the check-in process in the morning, but when I returned in the evening, it hadn't been done. At the previous hotel (Grand Chancellor Hobart), they even brought our luggage to the room with a similar process. Also, due to other cars in front of the hotel, the parking lot was very difficult to access. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the room's air conditioning, so it got cold in the early morning. Additionally, there weren't many TV services (which I wanted for the kids). I think this would be a very comfortable hotel for a regular trip.

Hdc fgcWe had the most amazing stay here, all thanks to the incredible hospitality! We arrived at Hobart Airport after a super long and exhausting journey, and we were honestly running on empty. Melissa at the front desk was an absolute lifesaver! She noticed how tired we were and immediately went to work trying to get us an early check-in. Since our room wasn’t quite ready, she safely stored our luggage for us and text us the very second it was clean. That meant the world to us!She also gave us a fantastic, super detailed rundown of all the hotel facilities.
To make things even better, our room had a stunning, super beautiful view of the lake. We couldn't take our eyes off it!

KGHCNot great if u drive. It will cost u $42 a day for valet parking. Breakfast was decent with a à la carte main and a buffet continental when u pay for it with ur room. 24 hrs room service was also appreciated but the food could be better. Location was smack right in town with woolsworth supermarket just 5mins away on foot.

Catherine EeveeSince we arrived in the early hours of the morning, the hotel was very accommodating. Knowing my wife is pregnant, they allowed us to check in a little early so she could rest properly. Overall, it was good, aside from some noise. However, I think this is due to poor soundproofing, which seems to be a common issue across Australia. Essentially, it's very convenient, with a bus stop and light rail station right downstairs, making it easy to get to different attractions.

Guest UserIt seems to be the former Travelodge hotel. It's built right by the road, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window in the room looking out onto it. The room itself is quite spacious, but the soundproofing isn't great. There aren't many shops nearby, just one Subway according to the map, and the hotel does have a restaurant. I guess many people stay here just for one night to catch a flight, as it's the only hotel close to the airport. They offer a paid shuttle service, $10 for one person and $15 for two, with the earliest shuttle at 7 AM. Our flight was too early, so we couldn't use it. Be warned! Even though it's close to the airport and a taxi should only be around $12, drivers might try to overcharge. Our taxi driver demanded $30. Since we had some extra time, we refused and decided to walk to the airport ourselves. It was almost 2 kilometers, and walking alone in the middle of the night with no one around was actually a bit spooky.

The room was very nice, the boss was very nice, and he also provided a rich breakfast. It is also very convenient to go to various tourist attractions. It's also very close to the city. The overall feeling of staying here is very relaxing!

Not bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you.
