The staff is very kind and helpful. The room is clean and tidy. Moreover, the refrigerator is not working but ok after raised the problem to the hotel. Also, the window is facing the carpark directly and I need to keep the curtain closed all the time. But overall impression is good.

Extrememly welcoming reception, made the start to our holiday feel wonderful. A great location for the price. Very friendly and courteous staff. Loved the 11 am check out and they stored our bags for the day. They were upgrading some rooms which is a good thing, our floor had a very bumpy surface room 606 otherwise the room and bed were fabulous

The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and provided excellent service. I arrived early in the morning on a flight and dropped off my luggage. By midday, they had prepared my room and called me to let me know, which I really appreciated. I stayed for two nights and met three different front desk staff members, all of whom were great. The hotel's location is also very good; all my tour group meeting points were within walking distance. There's also a WW supermarket and many Chinese restaurants nearby. I even got to see the New Year's Eve fireworks. Overall, it was a very good stay. The only minor downsides were that the showerhead in the bathroom was fixed to the ceiling, which wasn't very convenient, and the room's cleanliness was only so-so, which might be a common issue with older hotels in Australia. Overall, I recommend staying here.

The hotel’s location is perfect – it’s just a short walk to the harbour and tourist information centre, where you can easily catch most tours. Conveniently close to the SkyBus stop, it’s also easy to get to the airport. We booked a spacious one-bedroom apartment, and the supermarket is within minutes’ walk. The friendly staff is welcoming to all races, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. The room cleaning was satisfactory, making it a great base for exploring Hobart. We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel.
