The location covers everything. It is within walking distance of battery point and Salamanca place. It is old hotel but clean. Our two apartment bedroom had two rooms, one living room, kitchen, and one toilet. It was comfortable to stay many nights there. Recommend to visit Mount Wellington, the pinnacle while staying.

A value for money stay. There is covered car park provided for visitors at a reasonable charge per 24 hours. It is close to CBD with restaurants around. If you stay during Sunday, the Farm Gate Market is just within a few minutes walk. A special zone is closed for the booths set up. You can find delicious hot coffee, pancakes, sushi, bread and many others in the Market for breakfast. The hotel has daily housekeeping service. Rooms are spacious but the bathroom is a bit small. In general, the stay is great and the receptionist is friendly,

You have to walk a bit (10mins) up the hill from city center but the room are clean, especially the toilet and every room have a balcony. They offers free upgrades as well

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Hotel. The suite is just perfect for me, hubby and sister. The room is spacious and clean. The counter staff were helpful and responsive. Love.the happy hour! The bartender was sweet to let us sample the different types of beers. The restaurant service was fast and the food was hearty and yummy. If you have plans to join a day tour, Best Western is one of the pick-up point otherwise the walking to the St Brooke Pier is just 10 mins away. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hotel.

Stayed here for a few days in Hobart. It's about a 15-minute walk from the wharf, so a bit of a distance, but the price was good – just over 2100 for 4 nights. Plus, I had day tours booked every day, so I wasn't at the hotel much. It's also not far from the supermarket, about 10 minutes away. The room isn't huge, but it has a small desk, and a big plus is that they clean it daily. I think it offers pretty good value for money overall.

Walking distance to city centre and waterfront. But we were allocated to a room above main streets, so quite noisy. For a light sleeper, you may be woken up by trucks at 5am. Family room has 2 separate bedrooms (one with king bed, the other with 3 single beds, 1 bathroom to share) which is good for family stay. Value for money compared with other Hobart hotels. Also highly recommend the cafe nearby which called Ed’s only 120m away.
