The hotel's location is quite convenient. While not in the absolute busiest part of the city center, it's within walking distance to Oshiage Station, which offers direct and quick trains to Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi, as well as both Haneda and Narita airports. The area around the hotel is well-ordered and relatively quiet, not too crowded or chaotic. It's right next to Tokyo Skytree, and the view from the rooftop at night is fantastic, with a pleasant breeze. The standard rooms are on the smaller side, but they maintain a good sense of design, and the TV is positioned conveniently at the head of the bed for easy screen mirroring. Although the rooms are compact, the common area on the first floor is spacious, so you can head downstairs if you need to work. The hotel website states that breakfast isn't included, but they actually provide complimentary bread and juice every day, with a variety of delicious options like bacon rolls and olive bread, so there's no need to buy breakfast separately. One of the front desk staff members, who spoke Chinese, was incredibly helpful and attentive on our check-in day, giving us detailed information about the rooftop, the breakfast bread, and the laundry/drying facilities. This was very useful.

The only minor drawback is that all spaces feel a bit cramped, but this is commensurate with the price, and the hotel has clearly put effort into the design of its common areas to strike a good balance. Additionally, the bedding quality was just okay; the sheets had some pilling and small stains, which were replaced after room cleaning.

The room clean and space is sufficient for two of us with one large and one medium luggage. A small table for us to drink coffee or eat cup noodle, the aircond is very cooling. The toilet and shower room are separated. With basin outside the room. The breakfast is simple buffet. 5-10mins walk to nearest subway.Convenient location

I had a pleasant stay at Loisir Hotel Shinagawa Seaside. The hotel is conveniently located near Shinagawa Seaside Station and a bus stop. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious enough for my friend and me. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good, although the options for Muslim travelers were somewhat limited. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

If you arrive at Haneda Airport in the wee hours of the morning and can't take a bus or train, this is a great place to stay for a small taxi fare! It costs about 3,000 yen to get to this hotel from Haneda Airport, and while the rooms are small, it's a great place to stay for a night.
The front desk is open 24 hours, making it easy to check in early in the morning.
I'll definitely be back next time I'm traveling to Japan and need to arrive early in the morning! This is a review from a Korean man in his 20s.

Close to the subway, nice amenities like free tea, cotton pads, face wash, etc…. And able to borrow charging cable.

It felt a little far from the station. Since it's an older hotel, there were no power outlets by the bed. However, the cleanliness was excellent, and the breakfast was substantial, so I was satisfied.

This hotel has a clear set of pros and cons.

**Pros:**
1.  **Spacious rooms:** The room is large enough to lay out three 26-inch suitcases without obstructing movement (see picture 3).
2.  **Daily linen change:** They support daily linen changes, and the bed is quite large.
3.  **Excellent public transport access:** It's only a 1-minute walk to the bus stop, and the buses essentially cover all the main attractions.
4.  **Convenience store nearby:** There's a convenience store right next to the hotel.

**Cons:**
1.  **Weak hairdryer:** The hairdryer in the hotel is incredibly weak; I've never encountered one with such low power! Sisters with thick hair, proceed with caution.
2.  **No daily complimentary bottled water:** There's no free bottled water provided daily. There's a water dispenser on the first floor, but you have to bring your own cup to fill it, which isn't very convenient.
3.  **Distance from Kyoto Station:** It's quite far from Kyoto Station, about a 15-minute walk, which is a struggle when you're carrying large suitcases.

I had a pleasant stay overall at Loisir Hotel Kyoto Toji. The room was comfortable, clean and well-equipped, Staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. The location was also convenient, making it easy to get around Kyoto.

However, one downside was that the toilet had an unpleasant smell, which affected the overall experience. It would be great if this issue could be addressed.

Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable, and I would still consider staying here again.

The location is decent; we took public transportation everywhere and didn't have to walk much. However, the price gouging during the May Day holiday was insane QAQ. It's usually 400 a night, but we paid 1200. At that price, it's really hard to give a good review. I booked it mainly for the garden view and breakfast, but both were just okay. If you went early for breakfast, you'd get tempura 🍤, but if you went late, it was just rice and cold dishes. I'd recommend not paying extra for this place.

I've been to Kyoto countless times and have always chosen hotels within a 500-meter radius, staying in four different ones in total. My absolute favorite, and the most perfect, is this 'Insomnia' hotel, which has the newest facilities and a perfect layout. The main reason is that this time I booked a 26-square-meter corner room. Room size always dictates comfort. Secondly, the large bathtub is fantastic; a daily soak truly relaxes my muscles and eases fatigue. The lobby bar also stands out compared to others nearby, offering various beverages and breads 24/7. A special mention goes to the space under the bed where large suitcases can be stored without taking up valuable room – this is incredibly important for guests staying multiple nights! Of course, the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions and shopping malls, and the staff are all gentle and friendly. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied!👍

This hotel offers incredible value for money! It's super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto JR Station. The streets on both sides of the hotel are lined with small restaurants and pubs, and there's a medium-sized drug store (Don Quijote) at the corner. The room was clean and tidy, and we could see Kyoto Tower right from our window. I especially recommend the hotel's shampoo – it's really good! 😊 The room was spacious enough for two adults and two 28-inch suitcases, with plenty of room to spare. There are USB charging ports by the bed. There's no kettle in the room, so you'll need to bring your own and an adapter. The breakfast on the first floor is a set meal, costing around 60 RMB per person. Highly recommended!

Every word of mouth has a great response from the staff at the dog first, but I felt that it was correct.
I think it was really good for Mr. Andogie to have the first stay experience of my dog.
My dog is large and barking is quite powerful, but I was able to stay with peace of mind because the staff who were accustomed to the dog loved me.

I booked a single room for one person. The room is small, just fit one person exactly. However, it's well equipped with all amenities needed, and the minimart is just next door . It's not far from the Nagoya station. This eas your traveling a lot.

Very close to Sakae Station and the Bus Terminal, but if you have a heavy carrier, the walk may be lengthened to an extra block due to a lack of elevators on the nearer side to the hotel.
Interesting style of a sliding door between the bedroom and hall/powder room area. 
No tub, only shower booth with shower gel/shampoo/conditioner.
Free coffee daily from 7am to midnight, with breakfast cereal in the morning, and some tea bags.
Downside for smokers is, no smoking area in the vacinity. One can smoke at the 7/11 couple of blocks away. One can get a portable ash tray and smoke outside the hotel building. 
There seems to be bike rental service available, which I never got to.

One of our favorite hotels in Japan!! Great location, free coffee/ drinks when check in. Walking distance to Nagoya castle. If I ever go to Nagoya again would totally stay there again

Hotel is quite new, not far from subway.  However, room is a bit small and space to place luggage and hanging jacket / clothes not enough.  Hygiene is good and self serve ice cream

The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was well-maintained with a proper separation between the shower and dry areas. Everything felt clean and comfortable. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant.

In terms of location, it’s very convenient. There is a Lawson right across the street, and a 7-Eleven about a five-minute walk away. The hotel is also around an eight-minute walk from Fushimi Station (Exit 10) on the Higashiyama Line, making it easy to get around the city.
