The hotel was quite busy over the weekend. We were told our room wasn't ready at the 3 PM check-in time, so we were upgraded to a suite. The suite was spacious, but the layout felt a bit odd. Both the indoor and outdoor environments were very pleasant. We had a great view overlooking Yuanshan Lake and Jiading City, and we could enjoy the sunset from our window in the evening.

My son wanted to relax in a bath, so we chose the Hyatt not far from home. I requested a bathtub with a night view, and they delivered! It was really great 👏👏👏. Later that night, our relatives from out of town brought their child, and they quickly accommodated our request for an extra bed. Both kids were so happy! The breakfast buffet even had jianbing 🌯, which was an unexpected surprise.

The hotel service was excellent. Downstairs is Hopson One, perfect for dining, shopping, and just hanging out. It's absolutely convenient and ideal for a city getaway. It's one of the best soundproofed hotels I've ever stayed in. Great for travel, dining, leisure, and meeting friends 🎉🎉🎉

Service: We booked a stay with breakfast included, but when we checked in, the breakfast wasn't registered. The next morning, we were told at the restaurant that we didn't have breakfast. After we reported it to the front desk, they sorted it out. It's not a huge issue, but I hope the hotel can become more proficient in handling these details.

Breakfast: It was alright, the mini wontons were tasty.

Environment: I had requested a quiet room, but I was assigned a room right next to the elevator. Because the soundproofing isn't great, I was sometimes woken up by noisy children passing by. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Pros: It's close to Wanda Plaza, within walking distance. The small lake view outside the hotel is lovely, great for a walk after breakfast, and the surroundings are beautiful.

It would have been better if we weren't given a connecting room. The soundproofing was terrible; we could hear everything through the door. Our neighbor had a little boy who cried relentlessly – morning at 6-7 am, evening at 9 pm before bed, and even in the middle of the night. This went on for our entire three-day, two-night stay, and it severely impacted our rest, leaving us utterly exhausted!

To make matters worse, there's ongoing municipal construction around the hotel, with roads being dug up and pile drivers starting their incessant noise early in the morning. This also greatly affected our sleep. If the hotel is aware of such noise pollution, they should at least provide earplugs for guests.

Aside from these issues, the hotel itself is very family-friendly, with a great pool and a kids' play area. It's quite suitable for a weekend family getaway, but definitely avoid connecting rooms and perhaps wait until the road construction is finished before visiting again.

The location is really out of the way, with nothing around, and the hotel facilities are very limited. They list many activities, but they all cost extra and aren't even that fun. I saw a company team-building event there; they had to entertain themselves.

I requested a quiet room, but they didn't prepare one. Instead, I got a room right by the elevator. Whether it was guests or staff, they were slamming doors incredibly loudly, bang, bang, bang, repeatedly. It was so noisy.

The room facilities were quite disappointing. The overhead water outlet had no water, and the shower head just trickled. The hot and cold water knob was bizarre – turn it a tiny bit and it's scalding, a tiny bit less and it's freezing. I had no idea which way to turn it, so I just stuck with cold, figuring it's better than getting scalded. 

The corners weren't very clean either; the silicone sealant was all moldy. Speechless 🤦‍♀️

There are two large supermarkets nearby, as well as a shopping mall, so dining options are convenient. The hotel is simple and clean. Rooms come with disposable slippers, and a bottle of purified water and a bottle of soda water are provided daily. There are no dental kits or hair dryers (I brought my own anyway). Make sure to prepare a travel adapter in your home country, as they are very expensive to buy in the UK (personal tip).

Had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. The staff were professional and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has a very nice view if you book a sea view room. The room is spacious as compared to other hotels in London. The staff is helpful. The location is slightly far from the tube station though there is bus station nearby, it is slightly inconvenient to go to the city centre like Piccadilly Circus. It is overlooking the river Thames which has a nice view. You can go to have a walk along the river if it doesn’t rain.

Great location and room. It is wise to choice here. Near Blackfriar and City Thames Link station. and there is a Tesco near by. You gonna love it. We need vacuum to store our clothes，they happy to help！

Honestly, the hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained. After all, it's not a super luxurious hotel, so I'm not going to be overly picky about the facilities. It has everything a five-star hotel should have; even in an Arab country, the minibar offers Tennessee whiskey 🥃, which is a big plus. The hotel is very close to the metro station, making transportation convenient. The biggest highlight is the breakfast, which features a unique and ever-changing array of Indian 🇮🇳 dishes – definitely worth trying. However, if you have a 'Chinese stomach,' be warned: it's fine for a day or two, but by the third day, it might be hard to stomach.

A fairly good hotel. However, during my stay, the hotel entrance was undergoing maintenance. The alternative entrance is through the back side. Also, the toilet water was cut off at night, according to the hotel management, for maintenance purposes. The hotel restaurant serves breakfast, but it wasn't as expected.

Overall, the hotel wasn't what I expected the last time I visited.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel!!! We were given the apartment on the 27th floor and we thoroughly enjoyed the views. The hotel got its own mall, where they had saloon, cafe, Japanese and continental restaurants, clothing, mobile shops, supermarket and a stunning ice skating rink. Gold souk market is nearby. With Train Station nearby(few minutes walk to the station), easily navigate to the places around and cabs always flooded in this hotel for cozy users. Our apartment was quite old but perfectly renowned and maintained. I would definitely recommend anyone(specially families)

The whole apartment was huge with plenty of space for kids to run! The rooms were big too! We enjoyed our stay there! Bottles were provided in plenty upon everytime we request. Location is in a quiet area and have to take taxi to all the attraction but I would definitely want to stay here again. Highly recommended for big families.
