Stayed for four nights and it was a very comfortable hotel.

Transportation: It's very close to the train station, making travel around the area very convenient. It's also only a 15-minute ride to the Bund. The subway station is about two traffic lights away from the hotel (a 5-8 minute walk). One day, I took my child to Disneyland, and a taxi ride took 45 minutes.

Facilities: You can tell it's been renovated and upgraded. The smart toilet was convenient, and the hairdryer was a Laifen. The swimming pool was bright and comfortable; my child wanted to swim there every day during our stay.

Service: The service was warm and friendly. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, which always put me in a good mood when I returned; the concierge proactively helped with luggage and was very responsive with car services.

Suggestion: During peak breakfast hours, I recommend adding a seating service. Over the weekend, there was a corporate event, and the number of diners surged. It was hard to find a table, and the staff weren't very proactive in clearing tables. I suggest improving service awareness in this area.

Five-star review! Visited the architectural wonder of the world – the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland. My entire stay far exceeded expectations, with every detail meticulously handled. I have to give a special shout-out to my dedicated one-on-one butler, Alisa! We connected on WeChat, and she was incredibly responsive to every request. She even arranged a complimentary cake and desserts for our anniversary, and decorated the bed, showing such thoughtfulness and care. Coincidentally, she was the very butler my best friend recommended to me – talk about fate! I've already booked my next trip with her for next week, and she's helping me plan everything, even trying to save me some money, haha.

Upon arrival this time, I opted for a paid upgrade to the Garnet Executive Scenic Room. Honestly, the price did sting a bit, but the room's view was absolutely unparalleled. The balcony offers direct views of the quarry cliff face and a panoramic view of the waterfall. During the day, you can admire the texture of the mine pit rocks, and at night, without even leaving your room, you can enjoy the breathtaking 'Shan Hai Jing' themed cliffside light show. The viewing angle is superb, and the ambiance is incredible. Every photo I took looked amazing, perfectly showcasing the unique architectural beauty 88 meters below ground.

My stay at InterContinental this time was truly excellent. As soon as I arrived, the concierge proactively helped with my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were very friendly and approachable. There was a minor issue with the room initially, but the duty manager kindly upgraded us and even included lounge access. The room itself was spotlessly clean, the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent; despite being on a main street, we weren't disturbed by any noise. The view from the window was lovely, and it was very relaxing to just gaze at the scenery in my free time. The breakfast offered a good variety of dishes, and the taste was consistently good – a special shout-out to the auntie at the noodle station! This hotel is perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely book here again on my next visit.

Great hotel with amazing friendly staff, this was my fifth hotel I booked in Shanghai during our long 3 weeks stay and it was the best location.  The management did everything possible to make our stay more comfortable and accommodate all of our needs.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few steps from the riverside promenade, perfect for cycling, jogging, or a leisurely stroll. Although the room facilities aren't the newest, they are well-maintained and convenient to use. I especially loved the double vanity in the bathroom. The room also offered a nice river view. The hotel's fitness center and pool were quite busy, and the 1188 restaurant on the ground floor was even more crowded for the evening buffet, which offered a decent variety of food and drinks. Outside the 1188 restaurant, there's an old villa district that used to be the Shanghai Alcohol Factory dormitory. It's now preserved and converted into an English-style pub, though I'm not sure if it's currently in operation.

Now for some areas that could be improved: The young lady with glasses at the front desk during check-in spoke in a very soft voice throughout, almost mumbling, and showed no enthusiasm. This was a stark contrast to my previous experiences with InterContinental hotels. I wonder if they treat business and non-business guests differently.

The InterContinental Shanghai Ruijin is undoubtedly the epitome of Shanghai's atmospheric charm, a century-old French estate nestled in the heart of the city. Its sprawling camphor tree gardens offer a tranquil escape from the urban bustle, while the vintage red-brick villas exude an elegant, retro vibe. Strolling through the grounds feels like stepping into an old Shanghai movie scene, with every snap a picture of refined quality.

We stayed in a garden-view room, which was spacious and well-appointed. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the amenities had a refreshing scent, and all the little details added a thoughtful touch. The Executive Lounge experience was exceptional; the afternoon tea pastries were exquisite, and the evening happy hour offered a fantastic selection of hot dishes, from cheesy crab gratin to various cold cuts and hams – all top-notch.

The staff, especially Carrie, Chris, and Stanly at the front desk, provided consistently attentive and perfectly discreet service throughout our stay. The semi-open-air pool, surrounded by lush greenery, was wonderfully peaceful and therapeutic. Combining historical heritage with high-end service, this hotel is perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Full marks for the Intercontinental Shanghai Dishui Lake! I specifically came here to celebrate my birthday, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.

Special thanks to front desk managers Mia and Yinyin. During check-in, they learned it was my birthday and thoughtfully offered a complimentary upgrade to a lake-view room. The view of Dishui Lake was expansive and truly set the mood. They also meticulously arranged a special birthday surprise, with exquisite room decorations, a complimentary cake, and a small gift. It was full of ceremony, and every detail was heartwarming.

The hotel is uniquely situated on Dishui Lake's South Island, offering a serene and healing environment. The petal-shaped architecture is distinctive. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. The infinity pool and lawn are great for a stroll, and the breakfast selection is rich and comprehensive.

Mia and Yinyin provided gentle and patient service, fulfilling every request with thoughtfulness and attentiveness. It was an incredibly pleasant birthday getaway, and it's already on my list for a second visit. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lingang for a vacation or celebrating a birthday!

Last weekend I stayed at InterContinental Dubai Festival City with my family, where we had booked two rooms. Overall, the experience was pleasant, and the hotel’s location is excellent.  Especially its direct connection to Dubai Festival City Mall, which made dining and shopping very convenient.

However, the check-in process was quite disappointing. It took over two hours to receive our room keys, which was frustrating . Given that we had booked two rooms, it would have been reasonable to at least provide one room key while we wait for the other room. This delay suggested a lack of efficiency and experience at the front desk, which was unexpected for a hotel of this standard.

On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and quality that we truly enjoyed. Aside from the check-in issue, the rest of our stay was very comfortable. The facilities, ambiance, and overall hospitality were all commendable.

This place is so convinience, the location in between dubai marina and jbr beach so you can go everywhere by walk. If u drive it’s easy to park and drive as well. The hotel is clean and the staff as well so friendly.

I recently stayed at intercontinental residence suit for four nights and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel is a bit far from major attractions and public transport, but if you rent a car (which you most probably would) it's not an issue.

The staff at were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, adding to the hassle-free experience.

The room was clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Amenities such as the flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and complimentary Wi-Fi were much appreciated. However, the Wi-Fi was rather slow and there were no electrical outlets near the beds, so we had to ask the front desk for an extension cord, which they kindly provided.

One of the highlights was the hotel's on-site restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. The dinner menu was equally impressive, with high-quality dishes that showcased the chef's skill.

However, there were a few areas where the hotel could improve.The bathroom was very spacious, but the toilet was very close to the wall. The bathtub had a huge margins which made getting in and out very difficult and dangerous, since there was no handle to hold. The shower also was so close to the wall which considering the huge margin of the tub and the slope of the tub made taking a shower an unpleasant experience.

The hotel's common areas, including the lobby and pool, were well-maintained and inviting. The pool area, in particular, was a great place to relax, though it did get quite crowded at times.

In summary, intercontinental residence suit offers a solid 4-star experience with excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location. With a few minor improvements, it has the potential to be outstanding. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the city.

Having stayed at quite a few family-friendly hotels, I can honestly say that the InterContinental Overseas Chinese Town's pool is definitely in my top 3. No exaggeration, it's perfect for kids of all ages, from 1 to 18, and the sandy beach pool is fantastic.

Another thing I was really happy about was the breakfast, which featured freshly squeezed juices and pineapple buns. You could mix and match fruits and vegetables for your juice, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. Very few hotels offer that kind of quality.

Finally, I have to give a special shout-out to our butler, Jason. He called me the day before check-in, and I missed it. The next day, he proactively added me on WeChat, upgraded our room, and even extended our check-out time. He truly brought some comfort to our mood, which had been affected by the typhoon.

I usually love staying at InterContinental hotels, but this trip was truly the best in terms of both my personal experience and the environment! I was fortunate to participate in a training session thanks to Teacher Daqi's team, and that's how I ended up staying at this hotel. The hotel Teacher Daqi chose has been my favorite among all my travels so far. It was supposed to rain those days, but miraculously, the rain stopped, and the weather was beautiful. In the afternoon, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the beach and spent a long time just relaxing. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I'm so grateful. The hotel also offers yacht experiences and other recreational activities, and the food is delicious – I highly recommend it! I rarely write reviews voluntarily, but I'm truly grateful. If I have another chance to visit Shenzhen, I'll definitely stay here again! In fact, I'm very thankful for this hotel. It's clean and comfortable, and I'm very grateful to Teacher Daqi and everyone at the hotel. Thank you 🙏

The room itself was easily a 90 out of 100, though both pillows were quite soft, making them a little uncomfortable. It would be perfect if one of them offered more support. 

From the moment I arrived until I checked out, I was looked after by a dedicated guest service agent. Her genuine smile, sincere care, and attentive service truly stood out. I sincerely appreciate having such wonderful staff – a big thumbs up! Her name was Linda.

During my stay, there was an unfortunate incident: I slipped in the changing room by the swimming pool, scraping and bleeding. Thankfully, the staff quickly came to my aid and handled everything. My wound still hasn't healed completely, and I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to any future guests.

Your hotel really needs to address the slippery floor in that changing room. Please ensure the anti-slip mats cover the entire area without any gaps, so guests don't slip on the uncovered smooth tiles. More 'wet floor' warning signs should also be prominently displayed.
