I visited the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland with my family, and the overall experience was excellent.

Since it wasn't a public holiday, the crowd wasn't too big. However, during the evening light show, it was quite lively, and the lighting effects were stunning.

**[Location]** The location is a bit out of the way, but it's precisely because of this unique geological feature that this 'deep pit' building exists. If you're not driving, I recommend taking Line 9 to Dongjing Station and then a taxi; getting around is still quite convenient.

**[Hotel Environment]** It meets standard five-star expectations. What impressed me the most were the miner-shaped sculptures in the lobby. They were adorable, and I made sure to 'check in' with every miner figure I saw.

**[Hotel Service]** Highly commendable! 👍 The hotel confirmed our check-in itinerary one day in advance. Upon arrival, the staff thoughtfully introduced us to the restaurants, special performances, and viewing spots. Special thanks to Bruce, a staff member: initially, our upgraded room was a corner room with a less-than-ideal view. After communicating, he smoothly helped us switch rooms, handling the situation very thoughtfully.

**[Room Decor]** It's decent, nothing outstanding but nothing to complain about. The hotel was built a while ago, so some smart facilities are a bit outdated, and the TV doesn't support streaming from platforms. The toiletries are refillable and unbranded, and facial cleanser is not provided in the room.

Five-star review! I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in was fast and smooth. The concierge staff was particularly helpful, proactively assisting with luggage, calling taxis, and recommending local restaurants, always with a smile. The room was very spacious, bright, and comfortable. Overall, the experience was great. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

Huge thanks to Olive at the front desk for the warm welcome! She even upgraded us to a suite, and we were absolutely amazed when we walked in – the suite was fantastic! The toiletries were very high-end, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and satisfying for the kids. The mini-bar also had a lovely ambiance. Overall, we had a wonderful experience! We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in town.

I came to Hongkan for a concert, and staying at this hotel was very convenient. I compared a couple of platforms, and Trip.com had the best price, so I booked it. The room was probably the most basic in the hotel, but the size was decent. It was cleaned well, and I even received complimentary welcome fruit and a small cake upon check-in. The staff at the entrance were enthusiastic about helping with my luggage, and the front desk ladies were warm and attentive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options suitable for all ages. It's very close to the subway station, and only one or two stops away from both the airport and high-speed rail station.

This hotel, a renovation of old Shanghai villas, boasts a 'old money' style decor and is perfectly situated within the city walk area of Fuxing Road and Sinan Road. There are many unique cafes, restaurants, bookstores, and old residences nearby. The English 'old money' style decoration is quite appealing.

The downsides are that it's quite a distance from the subway station, and the surrounding streets are narrow, one-way, two-lane roads, making transportation not very convenient. Inside the hotel, the garden area doesn't separate pedestrians from vehicles; people walk on paths while cars pass by, which feels unsafe. Also, there seem to be several wedding companies nearby. Throughout my three-day stay, there were weddings held on the hotel lawn with loud speakers, which was very noisy and significantly detracted from the experience.

Furthermore, on the day I checked into the Executive Tower, I intended to have afternoon tea. When I went downstairs to ask the front desk where the Executive Lounge was, a middle-aged female staff member with a Shanghai accent actually interrogated us, asking if we were guests, which room we were in, and if afternoon tea was included. She even spent a long time checking on the computer before finally telling us the location. This felt very unprofessional and deeply disrespectful. When I ask where the Executive Lounge is, a simple answer is all that's needed; whether or not I'm eligible for afternoon tea is something the Executive Lounge staff can determine. I hope the hotel can improve its training.

This was my second stay here, and based on some reviews, I was expecting it to be a bit dated. To my surprise, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained! The smart home features and smart toilet were particularly thoughtful and convenient. The bedding was super comfortable, especially the four 'cloud' pillows – they deserve a huge shout-out! The gym is also very spacious, perfect for running or lifting weights. While the swimming pool is a bit small, it's still big enough to stretch out in, and I really appreciate how they manage the number of people – excellent service! After a swim, there's a sauna and steam room, which are great for cleaning pores. The breakfast selection is also very rich, and the coffee is perfect for taking on the go. Nearby, you can walk about 12 minutes to the Ole's business district and enjoy some late-night food. A 5-minute walk takes you to the Pudong riverside for a pleasant stroll or bike ride with a nice breeze. Overall, a delightful stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Dishui Lake is truly a wonderful place, so I planned a mini-vacation for my family and chose the InterContinental Shanghai Dishui Lake Hotel. The hotel's architecture is very unique and it's located right by Dishui Lake. The automatic sliding doors at the entrance give a sense of ceremony, and the lobby is absolutely beautiful. Check-in was also very quick. This time, we stayed in a deluxe balcony lake view twin room, and the scenery was stunning. We could see the beautiful views of Dishui Lake and also the hotel's infinity pool. The balcony was huge, big enough to fit a set of table and chairs.

The room also had a small lounge area, and each bed was 1.35 meters wide, perfectly comfortable for two people. The outdoor infinity pool at the hotel wasn't very deep, making it great for kids, and it was also perfect for taking photos. The outdoor pool was open until 6 PM, and the indoor one until 10 PM. A quick heads-up: you need to wear a swimming cap for both the indoor and outdoor pools. After swimming, we returned to our room and found a complimentary bowl of tremella soup by the bedside – such a thoughtful little surprise! We were so happy.

The breakfast buffet the next day was also very rich, and the environment was excellent. We went early, so it wasn't too crowded and quite peaceful. InterContinental members even received complimentary crab roe soup dumplings, which were absolutely delicious!

The kids went to the children's playground. It wasn't large, but it was very clean and not crowded. The activities were more suitable for younger children, but my child still had a great time. The hotel is very photogenic; the lobby is beautiful, the pool is beautiful, and the outdoor rock garden is also great for photos. Our whole family, young and old, had an incredibly fun time.

What I love:

- spacious room and beautiful organized
- comfort of the bed and air conditioning is cold
- connected to the mall and great location

What I dont:

Shower pressure was not up to standard and was low

I often go to Dubai and choose this hotel for the first time, it didn't disappoint me
Because I have to meet with many partners, I must choose a lobby grade, which is very suitable!
Service is also very thoughtful

This place is so convinience, the location in between dubai marina and jbr beach so you can go everywhere by walk. If u drive it’s easy to park and drive as well. The hotel is clean and the staff as well so friendly.
Got lucky we have dubai wheels view and dubai marina view.

Excellent location 10 minutes from the Dubai Mall and most places of interest.
Super clean variety of foods, excellent service from the staff who attended us.

An Unforgettable Family Vacation with Outstanding Staff Service!
We recently stayed at the InterContinental Shenzhen for a family trip, and it is hands down one of the best choices for families in the city. Our room was incredibly spacious, clean, and tidy, providing the perfect comfortable environment for us to relax.
The kid-friendly amenities are exceptional. Our children spent hours at the water park and the indoor ball pit, which kept them fully entertained throughout the entire stay. The dining options were another major highlight; we thoroughly enjoyed our meals at the Utopia restaurant, and the breakfast buffet offered an incredible variety of delicious options that catered perfectly to both adults and kids. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the personalized service. We were celebrating my son’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a wonderful birthday cake! A huge, heartfelt thank you to Dafne López from the staff. She went completely above and beyond to help us, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel incredibly special. We highly recommend this resort to any family visiting Shenzhen!

My stay this time was incredibly comfortable. The Executive Lounge experience was excellent overall, with attentive and thoughtful staff. The specialty cocktail service was a standout, creating drinks with outstanding flavors. It was lovely to sit and relax in the lounge during my leisure time.

Linda was very helpful during check-in, arranging a room with a great location and conditions, making for a comfortable stay. During check-out, Winnie and Alfreda were friendly, nice, and provided detailed service, making the process smooth and efficient. Throughout my entire stay, all the staff members demonstrated excellent professionalism, were responsive, and welcoming. The hotel paid attention to all the details, and I was very satisfied with my overall experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone.

First of all, a big thank you to Calice & Tracy for their meticulous arrangements before our stay. I was celebrating my mother's birthday, and the butler, upon learning this, prepared a lovely surprise birthday setup for us.

Here are the main aspects of the hotel that I was very satisfied with:
1. Direct subway access: This is excellent for those who don't drive or want to avoid traffic jams and taxis.
2. Well-divided swimming pool: It has both 1.2m and 1.5m sections, keeping children and adults separate. Plus, the pool offers a fantastic view of the sea.
3. Beach access right downstairs: You can put on your swimsuit, take the elevator down, and go straight to play in the water. Then, take the elevator back up to your room to shower and change.
4. Sea view room: The sea view from the room was absolutely stunning!
5. Delicious buffet: Both dinner and breakfast buffets were unique and excellent. My mother was very pleased.

One minor dissatisfaction: It seems the only way from the hotel entrance to the lobby is via the car lane. I walked around for a while and realized there's no pedestrian walkway. You have to walk in the car lane. Fortunately, traffic generally moves very slowly, so it wasn't too dangerous. Do they assume guests never walk in? 😅

Overall, I think a sunny weekday during the off-season is perfect for a two-day stay here!
