The hotel is very conveniently located close to the metro. However, the room I was assigned was not very satisfactory, as both the bathroom and bedroom had a musty smell. I went to the front desk to request a room change, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked that day, so they were unable to accommodate my request. As a result, I had to purchase an air freshener and handle the issue myself.

On the last night of my stay, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the entire floor. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room, so there should not have been any cigarette odor in that area. However, the smell was extremely noticeable, and it even spread into my bedroom.

The twin room size was a pleasant surprise! For this price in Tokyo, the room was quite spacious. The beds were about 1.2 meters wide, and I could easily open a 28-inch suitcase and a 24-inch front-opening suitcase with plenty of room to walk around. There was even a washbasin outside the bathroom, which was very convenient to use. The room cleanliness was good too. For getting around, it's only a 2-3 minute walk to the subway entrance. Even with luggage, it's just a 12-minute walk to the bus stop for airport buses to both airports, making transportation very convenient. It's also a little over a 10-minute walk to JR Nihonbashi Station.

The front desk staff were very welcoming, and having Chinese-speaking staff was really convenient. The hotel provides a small bottle of mineral water daily, and housekeeping cleans the room every day. The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. Although it was small, it could easily fit two 24-inch suitcases. The hotel offers a complete range of complimentary toiletries near the elevator on the first floor. There's a delicious tempura restaurant nearby, and the hotel is close to both Akihabara and Ginza. Plus, it's only about a 3-minute walk to Mitsukoshimae subway station, which is super convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Smile Hotel Sugamo, Tokyo, is super conveniently located right next to Sugamo Station. You can just step out and hop on the subway, making it easy to get anywhere. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is quite attentive, so I felt really comfortable during my stay. There are tons of snack options nearby, and breakfast even made me feel happy 😋. While the facilities aren't luxurious, it offers great value for money, perfect for a short trip or traveling with friends. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd consider staying here again next time 👍.

Getting to the hotel from Haneda Airport is super convenient. You can also walk to Takanawa Gateway Station, and the area is upscale, offering plenty of shopping, dining, and leisure options. For breakfast, there's a small shop diagonally across the street, which you can reach by crossing a sky bridge. There are also convenience stores nearby if you prefer.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel!
The hotel is 3 minutes away from Shinkoiwa station, 15 from Akihabara, Tokyo Station and direct line to Yokohama and Kamakura. You can hear the outside, the train etc but I don't think it was too much of a bother.
The staff was amazing, though they barely spoke English but they were really nice and accommodating. They have amenities at the front desk and you can also ask for a scale if needed. The room itself was good enough for me and the bed was comfortable.
 I took the breakfast option and the food was good at Jonathan's.

This hotel is incredibly well-located, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making getting around super easy. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was really comfortable, and the overall environment was quiet. The breakfast offered a great variety and tasted good, leaving me satisfied every morning. The staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth. My overall experience was excellent, and I'd definitely consider staying here again if I return to this city.

Staying at this hotel alone was an absolutely perfect experience! While the overall space isn't huge, the clever Japanese design really shines through. The layout is incredibly well-planned, allowing plenty of room to open up two suitcases comfortably, and the storage areas are a thoughtful touch. For a solo traveler, it never felt cramped or restrictive.

The cleanliness throughout the entire room was astonishing. From the bedding and tabletops to every corner of the bathroom, everything was spotless. The towels, toiletries, and other amenities were neatly arranged, and this meticulous attention to detail really put me at ease.

The location couldn't be better. It's just a short walk to the tram station, making daily commutes, sightseeing, and dining out super convenient. Plus, there are three convenience stores and a drug store nearby, so you can easily grab late-night snacks, restock travel essentials, or pick up daily necessities in one go, without any detours. It's truly ideal for solo travelers.

The front desk staff were also very attentive, communicating smoothly and friendly. Both check-in and check-out processes were incredibly quick. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. For a solo trip to Japan, choosing this place is a no-brainer – highly recommended!

Good price and sooooooo GOOD LOCATION not to far from train station, walk around 3-5 minutes from station. And it easily to take the train to Shinjuku because you haven’t change the train line. The room is small but not the problem but i can’t find the way to close the heaters and open the air conditioner, so i had to open the window at night for the cold weather for good sleeping. 👍🏻 the hotel will be remain in my list for next trip if i’d have plan to visiting Tokyo.

well. nice environment. The reception was very kind and smiling. The hotel's instructions are in English, whether it is the bedding in the room or the sukiyaki practice for dinner. It is very convenient for tourists in English-speaking countries. There are also a variety of colors to choose from. The hot spring water is an alkaline sulfur spring, which is greasy to wash on the body.

Dear Hotel Management,
 I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter.

On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately.

When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later.

 If the hotel finds the lost item later, please contact me via email.

호텔을 사용하며 불편함은 없었습니다만 2일 동안 호텔을 사용하며 귀중품(목걸이)를 분실했습니다. 호텔 측과 원활한 소통이 되지 않아 글을 남깁니다. 

20일 저녁에 책상에 목걸이를 올려두었고 착용하지 않고 21일에 관광지를 돌아다녔습니다. 일행이 목걸이를 챙겼다고 생각하여 체크아웃 이후 챙기지 않은 사실을 알게되어 바로 호텔에 연락했습니다. 

호텔 측에서는 확인해본다고 하고 확인해본 결과 없다는 답변 뿐 찾게 되면 따로 연락 준다는 이야기는 받지 못했습니다.

Super convenient! It's right near Shinsaibashi, which is great for shopping. The subway is right downstairs from the hotel, and there are plenty of convenience stores nearby. The room was a bit small, but it had everything I needed.

The room was clean and hygienic, and the location was convenient for getting around. There were plenty of restaurant options nearby and convenience stores all around. The breakfast was plentiful, and the front desk staff were very friendly and could even speak Chinese.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is just a short walk from Nishinakajima Station (Exit 1) and only one stop away from Shin-Osaka Station, making it very convenient for trips to the airport and Kyoto. I can also easily reach Umeda, Namba, and Tennoji on the Midosuji Line.

There are 5 minimarts nearby, plus a Matsuya restaurant, so it's easy to find cheap and delicious food. This area is quiet and peaceful, and the room was spacious enough to open a 28-inch suitcase comfortably. I also loved the shampoo and body wash—they smelled amazing!

Housekeeping is done every 3 days, but the staff will replace towels and collect trash daily if requested. Every staffs was friendly and welcoming.

The only small downside is that the walls are a little thin, so I occasionally heard some noise from the next room. Still, it didn't affect my sleep at all.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Facilities: The facilities are excellent, with an ice machine, vending machine, and a large public bath. Service: The staff can speak English and Japanese, and they provide multi-language brochures for local attractions. Hygiene: The room was clean and well-stocked with amenities.

Had a fantastic stay! While the hotel is a bit of a walk from Tennoji Station, about 10 minutes, there's a slight uphill section that can be a bit challenging with luggage. However, the hotel itself is excellent. The room was much larger than a hotel I stayed at in Tokyo for 800 yen a night, with a comfortable bed and a desk. The bathroom was even slightly bigger than a standard one, and besides the shower, the hotel also has its own public bath, and provides yukata (Japanese robes), which was a lovely touch. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on that. The hotel's in-house travel magazine was also a great read, offering a very enjoyable regional breakdown of recommended dining, entertainment, and attractions in Osaka and Kyoto. Highly recommend!

Conveniently located with beautiful river views from the upper floors. The room was very clean, and both housekeeping and front desk staff were extremely friendly. The Nakanoshima promenade nearby is perfect for walking or jogging. You can also walk along the river all the way to Osaka Castle.

house is under renovation and we had wonderful stay here. booked studio room, it has pantry, sofa bed and king bed. perfect for family of 4. room is beautiful and spacious

Its a good location for solo traveller , the place is near to shopping mall and there are also various food place that we can go , I highly recommended these place for people who love to travel

The hotel service was so-so. The room had peeling paint on the ceiling, and they charged 10 MYR for an extra pillow. I also left behind a charger with three cables, but they claimed they couldn't find it. On the bright side, the front desk manager was very friendly, which was a plus.

All is okay except the toilets wasnt functioning very well. Basic amenities are completely provided like hairdryer, heater, aircond, iron upon request. Parking also easily can get. The location also in the centre of Kuala Lumpur which is very accesible to famous places in Kuala Lumpur. The room also got this unpleasant cigarattes smell probably from previous tenant.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Room was clean when I arrived and everything was okay. The staff at reception were friendly too. Location is good, easy to find and not difficult to get food nearby.
