The airport shuttle service was very convenient, and the hotel room was clean and spacious. However, the soundproofing was poor, and I could hear people chatting and watching TV in the next room all night.

Stayed one night in transit in Madrid, the room and bathroom were spacious. If you have an early flight the next day, this is the right room for you. Although there are other cheaper hotels near the airport, there are only two or three hotels that provide shuttle buses to the airport at 4:30 in the morning. Just think of it as using the taxi budget to book a better room, have a good rest before setting off again!

Although there is a big pit in front of the door, it is worth recommending:
Convenient transportation, near Chamartin subway and train station,
Sumptuous breakfast, breakfast is very important for people on business trips
Good hygiene, actually newer than the hotel promotional pictures
The room is not small, much larger than most hotels in Europe.
Compared to three stars, I am willing to give it four stars.

Me encantó este hotel. The room was modern, spacious and clean. The staff was absolutely nice. Joaquin, Paula, Ruben, and many others were very kind and helpful with our needs. There is a bus (146) that runs every 10 minutes and will pass through many attractions. At first I was concerned about the location of the hotel but it was just great. Great restaurants in a walking distance. I will definitely stay in the Melia AV America again. Thank you for your hospitality.

The room was spacious, with a suite, separate living room and bedroom. It was also very clean. The breakfast was good, and you can even book a private car to the airport. The driver will let you know which terminal to go to in advance. Very thoughtful. The only downside is that it's quite far from the city center, but there's a bus that goes directly to the hotel entrance, and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room is clean and tidy, the service is warm and thoughtful, and it is not far from the Bernabéu, which is quite convenient. It is more suitable for business travel.

Hotel facilities including rooms were not great.
The breakfast buffet menu was the same during the stay (3 nights). 
There was no free bottled water during the stay, and the bottled water in the minibar in the room was paid (3.9 euro), but there was no price guide.

The overall style of the hotel is good, and the location is excellent, just near Plaza de España. The room is a little small. But for girls, the shower water is too small, and it is troublesome to wash your hair. The basin is also very inhumane, and the faucet is on the side, so it is inconvenient to wash your hands, face, and things, and the water will be everywhere. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the common varieties are available. The room type I booked can go to The Level Lounge from 13:00 to 21:00 every afternoon, with free snacks, desserts, ice cream and drinks.

Downtown location is very good, very convenient, the room is also very big, the price is very high

The facilities are a bit old, but the price performance is very high. Unfortunately, there is no swimming pool, and the children are not happy enough. Parking is not very convenient, but breakfast is very good! The hotel is at a great location, and there are big brands nearby.

Too many advantages: It's incredibly convenient to get to the beach; it's a 3-4 minute walk from the front of the hotel, and a 5-minute walk from the back. There are supermarkets: Spar, Eroski City, Lidl, and Rossmann drugstore.

Breakfast from 7-10 am is delicious and has a wide variety of items. After breakfast, there's refreshing lemonade and coffee available in the restaurant for guests to help themselves.

The gym downstairs is well-equipped, and there's a small swimming pool on the roof.

It's very quiet at night; the dim lighting is perfect for those sensitive to light. The air conditioning in the room is very cool; I usually have to turn it off because it's 35 degrees Celsius outside, but the room is always pleasantly cool. The toiletries are complete: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and hand cream/body lotion are all from Ritals Jing, and I love the scent. I'm very satisfied with the bed; I can't stand very soft beds because they make my back uncomfortable, but this hotel's bed is excellent. There are three types of pillows to choose from.

The hot water is great; showering is comfortable, unlike some reviews that mention no hot water.

The service staff I encountered were all very satisfactory, unlike some reviews that describe them as rude. From the front desk staff (Oscar was especially adorable; we saw him again when we checked out on the 7th day), to the housekeeping staff, and the restaurant staff (a very kind old gentleman cleared the dishes every morning), I would give full marks to all the staff we encountered during our 7 days and 6 nights!

The cabinet under the TV could be easily opened with a gentle push to reveal cups, a safe, and a mini-fridge. There was a hairdryer and a large plastic bag in the wardrobe drawer.

If I had to point out a few shortcomings, they would be:

1. They should learn from Chinese hotels; if they don't clean the room, they should at least provide two bottles of water. For environmental reasons, we only requested cleaning twice over 6 nights. We only received two small bottles of mineral water upon check-in on the first day. If we had booked 6 nights separately, wouldn't we have received 2 x 6 bottles? For €300 per night, they couldn't even afford a bottle of water.

2. The toilet paper was extremely thin, only one layer thick.

3. There was no toilet brush next to the toilet, which was very inconvenient.

Very good location, beautiful views from the balcony from higher floors, to the historical center on foot About 15 minutes, to the beaches well connected by city bus, a variety of tasty breakfasts with regional products and I think that everyone will find something for themselves, well-soundproofed rooms with individual air conditioning, everyday cleaning, water free of charge and a free bar for a fee.It is true that in some places you can see a tooth of time, but it is not important unless you find a malcontent

We took a ferry from Barcelona and arrived at the hotel around 7 am. The

hotel was so friendly that we were allowed to buy an extra buffet breakfast

for €14 (trip said its €12) and stay in the comfortable lounge for our room

until check-in time. Lastly, we were given a room an hour earlier, but

somehow, we saw that the cleaners were cleaning every room. Besides

bedding, our room wasn't thoroughly cleaned and well prepared.

The room is always dim. The window is enormous; no stop is provided to

stop the window from being blown by the wind. The bedroom carpet is full

of stains and smelly, even the one along the corridor. The cleanliness is

poor.

No pantry in the room. It took them 4-5 hours to bring the kettle and the

tea bags. Toilet paper is not refilled every day, you need to get it on your own at the lobby reception.

The quality of hotel buffet, breakfast the comfortness of the louge and the

location is unbeatable. 2mins to the estacion and 6mins to the town

center. We took an autobus to Soller for a day trip

This was a quick trip but the hotel was very nice inside. The room was great for and us and very comfortable with great views over the harbour. There was construction works happening on the outside (front) but that didn’t really matter to us as we were only there for the weekend. The pool was a nice temperature on a hot day and although we couldn’t get a sunbed (arrived at the pool around lunch time) we had a lovely breakfast and the ice cold beer definitely helped us to relax. 

The nightlife around the hotel can be a little loud due to the number of sports/Irish bars near by and it made the walk home from the city interesting. However the atmosphere was good and we didn’t mind at all. If you had kids then it could be a little intimidating I would think.

We also checked in very late (after midnight) which wasn’t a problem at all and we got our room straight away

Overall we’d definitely consider staying here again.

It is a hotel converted from a private residence. In an alley in the city center, take a break from the noise. The service staff is very enthusiastic. There is a small roof, surrounded by houses, can't see the scenery, and of course I can't see the sea. The room is too small, the corridor is small, the elevator, lobby, and restaurant are small. There are few varieties of breakfast. The drying rack is very good, and the wet clothes are dried in an hour. The USB interface has 4 ports, 2 sockets, plus boiling water and 2 sockets for the computer can also be plugged in, and there are 4 sockets. There is a free spa, not going. In general, there is a large distance from the usual five-star standard.

It’s a bit far from city centre, need to take taxi for sightseeing and attractions locations.

Totally the hotel was good. But some problems. For example the 3 bottle of small water  in a suite room which have 4 person not enough and if you request for more they asked for extra payment. The size of bottle very small.

酒店離還不是很遠，大概1.5公里左右，在房間可以遠眺海岸線，好像還分上下兩部分的，下半部分為四星，上半部分前台在25層是五星，提前兩天預訂的酒店，1500一晚上，住了兩晚，結果到了酒店手欠搜了下才1100多了，算了。以後預訂還是要很慎重才行呢！前台比較差，有點不耐煩，可能我是亞洲人？房間挺大的，配置也還算可以，拖鞋牙刷也有的，煮水壺咖啡機也有，就是暖氣片不熱的，空調開30度一直開着沒有任何效果，1613房，因為行程比較趕，所以就是晚上睡一下而已，將就了
