The hotel is quite old and outdated, I only chose it due to sentimental reasons. Upon checking into the room, I found long female hairs on the bed and the sink was leaking, so I had to put a towel on the floor to avoid slipping. At breakfast, I went to get food (there was an 'occupied' sign on the table) and when I came back, someone else had taken my seat. There were several staff members, but they couldn't even manage to arrange seating properly. Because my companion was a foreigner, we voluntarily moved to another table. However, it took three requests to staff members to get the coffee we asked for, and it finally arrived almost after we had finished eating. This is definitely not the service one would expect from a five-star hotel. Quite disappointing.

My parents wanted to visit the outskirts of Beijing for a couple of days during the Chinese New Year holiday. After looking at several options, we decided that the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing, located by Yanqi Lake, was the most comfortable and suitable choice.

The hotel's iconic spherical design is truly photogenic. Even though it's been open for several years, it still doesn't feel outdated. We were lucky to get a spacious corner room this time. The amenities, including the pool, gym, and restaurant, were all excellent.

Our stay at the Hengyi Travel Photography affiliated hotel was absolutely fantastic! Luna at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming, handling our check-in efficiently and patiently. She even went the extra mile by proactively helping us plan our travel photography itinerary, demonstrating flawless attention to detail. Our photographer, Zhaoyang, was equally professional. He expertly captured our best moments and patiently guided our poses and expressions throughout the shoot. The resulting photos were simply stunning! The entire experience, from our accommodation to the photography session, was completely stress-free. This definitely deserves a perfect five-star rating!

This hotel is located on Yanqi Island, and it's the only one there (the Yanqi Hotel and Yanqi Villa are essentially the same entity). It sits right next to the Yanqi Pagoda, while the villas are scattered across the island. All dining and entertainment facilities are within the main hotel building. We booked three rooms this time, and each one was spacious, luxurious, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent; the braised pork ribs were a rare and delightful find for breakfast! Also, next to the indoor pool, there's a hot tub, which is wonderfully relaxing in winter. The island has many trees and walking paths, but unfortunately, it was too cold to explore much, so we only walked for a short while. Highly recommended!

The location of Kempinski Boulevard Dubai is excellent—right in the heart of Downtown and very convenient for getting around. The staff are truly wonderful: friendly, professional, and consistently attentive. Service throughout the hotel was great, and cleanliness was also very well maintained.

That said, the rooms feel quite dated and are in need of renovation. While they are clean, the furnishings and overall condition do not meet expectations for a 5-star hotel, especially given the price point. For what is being charged, the rooms should be more modern and better maintained.

Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with fantastic staff and location, but room upgrades would significantly improve the experience and better justify the 5-star rating.

We stayed for one night as a group of four and enjoyed close rooms on request the staff was helpful and when we told them we were celebrating my sisters graduation they didn’t hesitate to bring us a complimentary cake. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect it took us 6 minutes from our room to the mall.

Loved every bit, breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anastasia was our host for the first day and her smile made us start our everyday there very beautifully. She was exceptionally lovely. 

Aside from the location being a bit inconvenient, requiring a car or shuttle bus (which the hotel provides to Central) due to Bangkok's notorious traffic, there's not much to fault. The hotel itself is beautiful, the lobby is very Instagrammable, and the rooms are spacious and very family-friendly.

Been staying here for many times and have nothing to complain about the facilities and amenities, except that it was the first time to stay in an executive room and those are rather small and have a weird layout where there is a glass bathroom sticking out in the hallway and if u r not careful you will bump into it during night on your way to the restroom.

Staff‘s service and attitude was rather questionable at check in but the front office manager made it up. So all good.
