I originally booked for one night, but due to unfinished business, I extended my stay by four more days, which allowed me to further experience the features of Kempinski.

Facilities: Very comprehensive, especially having two gyms! The gym on the 18th floor is relatively 'basic'; the one in the basement has two levels. B-1 has treadmills and light equipment like pull-up bars, while B-2 has a full range of barbells and dumbbells, and surprisingly, even two squash courts. What's even more delightful is that there's an indoor golf practice area where you can simulate playing a full round. The weekday charge is 150 yuan per hour, which includes free club rental (both men's and women's sets are available). I just didn't like the men's Dunlop carbon fiber set, so I didn't play. If you're in Beijing for golf and bring your own clubs, it's definitely worth a try.

The swimming pool on the 18th floor is quite short; you reach the end in just a few strokes. However, it's still good for relaxation. Both gyms have saunas and Turkish baths.

The breakfast buffet is very rich, with smoked salmon 🍣, plain yogurt, five types of honey, and four or five kinds of cheese – excellent value for money.

Also, soft drinks in the Mini-Bar are complimentary...

The room has amenities like bathrobes and an umbrella.

Hygene: No need to worry; it's impeccable.

Environment: Although Yansha Shopping Mall isn't as vibrant as it used to be, it's very convenient to enjoy the various dining options in the Liangma River business district.

Service: Very attentive. Two deliveries (express and errand runner services) were brought directly to my room by the concierge.

This is a luxury hotel, but I'm not sure if it's due to its somewhat remote location, but the overall facilities and services feel scaled back. The executive lounge on the 21st floor has been closed for a long time, and room service has also been discontinued for a while (so the hotel might as well remove the room service cards from all rooms). 

The lake-view room offers beautiful scenery outside the window, but the glass is very dirty. I've seen other reviews mentioning the glass has been dirty since last year. When booking, I indicated two adults and one child, and this was also recorded at check-in, but no children's bathrobe or slippers were provided. I had to call the front desk to request them. However, the hotel does state in the room's bathroom that disposable amenities are not actively provided.

We understand that there's a high volume of guests during the Chinese New Year period, but we could still see hair from previous guests and food debris on the floor. The toiletries in the shower should also be checked periodically. I'm not sure if the hotel is refilling old bottles with new stock, but the pump for our conditioner was faulty, and looking at the bottom of the bottle, it was already 24-year-old conditioner (with a shelf life of 12 months).

Regarding breakfast, I had seen reviews saying there wasn't much to eat, and that's indeed the case. Breakfast was chaotic, and the food quality was not up to 5-star restaurant standards.

Overall, I feel that avoiding holidays and peak times might allow for a better service experience. During Chinese New Year, the basement parking was incredibly messy, and there was a shocking amount of food waste at breakfast. Children were also very noisy in public areas.

Chinese New Year Craft Experience: 
We tried calligraphy, but I really disliked the teacher taking photos of the children with her phone. I hope these photos won't be used for future commercial promotion.

The room was good overall, but a minor issue was how cold it got near the floor-to-ceiling windows in winter. The curtains were actually blowing inwards, which suggests there might be gaps in the window sealing. Hotel service was decent, and the amusement park isn't particularly large. However, the scenery is really beautiful, breakfast was plentiful, and the service there was also good. The air conditioning was a bit dry.

This hotel is located on Yanqi Island, and it's the only one there (the Yanqi Hotel and Yanqi Villa are essentially the same entity). It sits right next to the Yanqi Pagoda, while the villas are scattered across the island. All dining and entertainment facilities are within the main hotel building. We booked three rooms this time, and each one was spacious, luxurious, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent; the braised pork ribs were a rare and delightful find for breakfast! Also, next to the indoor pool, there's a hot tub, which is wonderfully relaxing in winter. The island has many trees and walking paths, but unfortunately, it was too cold to explore much, so we only walked for a short while. Highly recommended!

The location of Kempinski Boulevard Dubai is excellent—right in the heart of Downtown and very convenient for getting around. The staff are truly wonderful: friendly, professional, and consistently attentive. Service throughout the hotel was great, and cleanliness was also very well maintained.

That said, the rooms feel quite dated and are in need of renovation. While they are clean, the furnishings and overall condition do not meet expectations for a 5-star hotel, especially given the price point. For what is being charged, the rooms should be more modern and better maintained.

Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with fantastic staff and location, but room upgrades would significantly improve the experience and better justify the 5-star rating.

We stayed for one night as a group of four and enjoyed close rooms on request the staff was helpful and when we told them we were celebrating my sisters graduation they didn’t hesitate to bring us a complimentary cake. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect it took us 6 minutes from our room to the mall.

Loved every bit, breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anastasia was our host for the first day and her smile made us start our everyday there very beautifully. She was exceptionally lovely. 

The hotel environment is fantastic, with new facilities and excellent hygiene. The front desk service is attentive, and check-in was quick. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was great – I slept soundly until morning. The location is convenient, the service is warm and thoughtful, and it offers superb value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time! Overall, my experience was very satisfying, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Arriving in Bangkok for the first time, I chose the Siam Kempinski, a hotel brand I'd never stayed at before. After this experience, it will definitely be my first choice for future trips.

The hotel had a strong festive atmosphere, especially with the Chinese New Year decorations and rituals, which made Chinese guests celebrating abroad feel right at home.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few steps away from major shopping malls like Paragon, offering an incredibly diverse range of food options – literally everything you could ask for. I even tried a Thai milk tea with gold flakes at Paragon, making the experience perfect.

Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel offers a tranquil and beautiful environment. For families with children, there's plenty to keep them entertained without even leaving the premises.

For breakfast, 2 to 3 restaurants are opened depending on the number of guests. The food selection is the same across all of them and quite extensive. They even had Thai-style fried dough sticks with pandan dip, which was a fun and interesting touch.

All hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. I particularly want to commend Mr. Chettarin from the F&B department (I hope I got the name right!) and a few of the doormen. They were all patiently helpful with any taxi-related issues. 

Should I have the opportunity to visit Bangkok again, the Kempinski will undoubtedly remain my top choice.
