"This was my third stay at Yamato Hostel, and I honestly keep coming back because of the overall experience. The place has a really nice aesthetic, it’s always clean, and the price is hard to beat. And super close to MOA and NAIA. It’s one of those hostels that gives you great value for your money! That said, I did notice a few things during my latest stay that I hope can be improved: • The Wi-Fi has gotten noticeably slower. I had a hard time getting work done, and to make things worse, mobile data isn’t very reliable inside because the signal is pretty weak. This needs to be fixed since a lot of guests I saw are working too. • The hot shower was inconsistent. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t, which can be a little inconvenient after a long day. • The upper bunk on the 3rd floor female dorm gets REALLY hot. 😅 It honestly felt like a sauna at times, so maybe there’s an issue with the air conditioning on that floor. I’ve stayed in the 2nd floor mixed dorm before and never had this problem, so I hope they can check it out. Even with those issues, I’d still come back. That’s how much I like this place. 😂 I even asked if they had a loyalty membership like other hotels and hostels because I’ve stayed here a few times already, but sadly they don’t (yet!). Also, don’t skip the coffee shop on the ground floor, it’s good and definitely worth trying during your stay. Overall, I’d still highly recommend Yamato Hostel, especially if you’re looking for a clean, stylish, and affordable place to stay. Hoping they can improve the Wi-Fi, hot shower, and air conditioning because this place has so much potential. I’ll definitely be back!"
