Great experience! Everything was really good. We had a room with terass and a view of the sea. It was stunning. Room was very clean and sheets where changed daily, which was nice when you have two dogs that sneak into bed during the night. Location was great. A short distance walk to the town center with shops and restaurants. The parking service was great. They park the car for you and when you need it they will bring the car in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. It will cost you 20€/ night but it's hassle free. Staff is fantastic. We arrived around 6AM (much earlier than expected), and way too early for the normal check-in time. We were absolutely exhausted after a night of driving and our room wasn't ready. But the staff was kind enough to give us a room to sleep in, and at 11AM we could check-in to our booked room. Free of charge! Breakfast was also great and they do packed breakfast if you leave before breakfast time. The hotel doesn't do laundry, but there is a laundry place 800m away.

A Wonderful Stay at Villa Sant’Andrea, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina Mare I had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Sant’Andrea. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and unique, with stunning views that made every moment special. My room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful and peaceful sleep throughout my stay. I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who made my experience so memorable—from the team who checked me in to the bellman and doorman who kindly assisted me upon arrival and departure. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It is no surprise that this hotel is so famous. You have created such a beautiful memory for my vacation, one that I will always cherish. I truly look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to everyone for such an exceptional experience.

We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area. We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella. The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there. Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.  The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.  This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

The room has an unbeatable sea view, facing the sea with flowers blooming in spring, and you can also see the misty Mount Etna in the distance. The hotel is halfway up the mountain. It is a bit expensive to take a taxi from the train station to the mountain for 25 euros. Young people without large luggage can try hiking or taking the bus. The uncle at the front desk is very friendly. The sleeping bag left in the room by my companion was immediately delivered. I stayed for two nights. It is suitable for a daze vacation

Everything was good except for the laundry. We paid 40 euros and our laundry came back still somewhat dirty and not smelling clean. All my white clothes were ruined because they didn't separate. Wasted my money and my clothes. Breakfast was good but repetitive. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The room was cleaned daily and thoroughly. We had a sea view room which was beautiful however it felt so stuffy and humid that it prevented us from sleeping and we were unable to turn on the air conditioning. The walls were so thin that we could hear people outside all night, we could hear the people have breakfast in the morning, and we could hear the opera couple streets over. Location was close enough to the bus and to shops and restaraunts.

Nice hotel! I had a very late check-in after they closed the reception. Very strange! I chose a hotel with a 24/7 reception! They left me a note with detailed instructions on the hotel door. It said that I would find the keys to the room in the door, but they were not there!!! My sleepy brain could only think of going down to the empty reception and picking up the keys from there. There were no questions at check-out.

Taormina is the true way to experience Sicily. If I had to choose only one city for a relaxing vacation in Italy, it would have to be Taormina. 👍 This town, made famous by the movie ”White Lotus Resort,” fulfilled my every imagination. The sea and streetscapes are simply breathtaking. I booked Eurostar flights from Palermo to Taormina, and I have to say it was the right choice! The cliff-top hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The room has a private balcony, and the view overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and pool is truly a welcome relief from the travel. The breakfast was just as plentiful as the Eurostar experience, with sweet fruit and delicious smoothies. Watching the pigeons on the terrace while enjoying breakfast was truly relaxing. The only downside was the old hairdryer, which I think is a common problem with European hotels. Could Dyson sponsor it, hahahaha. 😄 PS: The hotel is very close to Piazza 9 degli Abril and the ancient Greek theater. The town is wonderful to explore and has a variety of delicious food. Taormina is definitely the best city in southern Italy!

Отель не 4 звезды. Когда открывался, может и были эти звезды для 90х годов, но с тех пор ремонт не делался, судя по всему. Место распоряжение не самое удачное - до Изолы Беллы 15 мин пешком по обочине дороги, до фуникулера - 10 мин. Если выходить из отеля налево, то можно дойти до песчаного пляжа, там народа в разы меньше! Так же есть лестница в город, на такая обхоженная, как от Изолы Беллы, но зато рядом. Завтраки скудные - для 4* совсем скромно. Обслуживание отличное, все довольны, все улыбаются. Кто на машине - с парковкой беда, у отеля 5 машиномест, на дороге на припарковаться. Если повезёт с номером, то шикарный вид на море! У нас был Делюкс, 3ий этаж, тут же выход к бассейну, очень удобно. Сам бассейн небольшой. Кстати, отель находится в тени после 12 дня, соответственно, у бассейна не позагорать. По цене был выигрышнее, но стоит ли того, неуверен.

Hotel located right next to the funicular to Taormina. The rooms are simple and slightly dated but perfectly adequate for one night. The hotel has a very nice view of the sea. Free parking is not easy in high season (high traffic area).
