Hotel Baia Delle Sirene

The hotel room was clean and modest. It was noisy as you can hear everything specially whenever the train comes. The staff were not that friendly and not helpful. Location was easy access to the cable car but you have to walk on the road. Quite a bit dangerous. You have to go walk few minutes to get food as the hotel restaurant is close. Only opens during breakfast. Food at the buffet is not much. So if u wake up late and there will be no food as it seems like they dont refill. Unpleasant stay.

Great place, beautiful views. I stayed in one of the suites and it was beautiful. The down side is in order to use the hotel umbrellas and chairs to beach there is a charge of 20 euros per person. For a family of 3 it will be too expensive. We walk down to the free beach access l.

The location is superb. About 900 m from the “Funivia” that takes you to Taormina on the top of the hill and a small tunnel under the railway that takes you to the sea. The beach itself is not one that you would like to go, but there are a small facility (“Lido”) that you can get umbrelas, chairs for a small beach on the premises. That facility was under renovation during my stay, so I was not able to use it. The hotel is simple but functional. There is no lift, so you have to carry your bags through stairs, not big ones, but could be cumbersome. To get to the “Funivia “ you can walk on the road, competing with the cars, something that is safe, or you can go by car and park on the parking lot by the station, if you are lucky enough to find a space. Or you can get there by taxi or uber. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they will certainly help you. My room was in the second floor with a beautiful sea view. I had a very pleasant stay, but two things bothered me: there are several trains that passes overnight on the rails adjacent to the property, making a lot of noise. The other thing is that there’s no good acoustic isolation between the rooms, and if you got a noisy neighbor it can be a problem.

The hotel has beautiful views and is convenient to access nearby restaurants and the funicular up into the main part of Taormina. The room was small but clean. It worked well for us as we were in Taormina to explore the town and surrounding areas and not spend time at the hotel or in the room - so it was good to have clean and quiet place to return to each evening. The breakfast spread was super good - great food and coffee and spectacular view from the roof.

What a great little spot. Parking onsite was easy and convenient. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Decent breakfast included in the am. There is no beach: the waterfront is rocky/concrete.

Room was clean Carmen was amazing she tended to our every need. Lovely location with everything you need.

The room did not look like it did on ******* . It was smelling and in the end had to check out a day early to go to another hotel and still pay for the extra night
