ZZEYAOThe location and the view of the hotel are impeccable and the rooms have unrivaled sea and mountain views. The facilities are actually very good, but the strange bathroom shower head design makes the bath extremely awkward. The hotel is the old grand theatre, and it is the town that continues to go down. The distances are just right. The beach is not good, but the beaches in southern Italy are the same. It is the kind of large-grained sandstone beach, which is very ground. The only thing that I feel dissatisfied is that the Italians are really too playable. The party is still playing music loudly at 12:30 in the evening. It is not a complaint that it is estimated that it will not be closed several times. Parking is also a bit difficult, we all parked in the parking lot lumbi garage about 2 km away, and then take the shuttle bus, convenient.

GGio MelcarneWe were very happy to have a very good stay at Hotel Villa Angela, and we would like to thank the staff for the great kindness and attention of our staff every day.
The room was spectacular: comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a delicious hydro and a balcony with a view of taking the mouth. We had the luck to see an Ethna eruption in a silent morning... a show of nature that we will never forget.
The breakfast is very rich and well-thinked, with various Sicilian specialities, sweet and salty, and the cassette cake we eat on the first day was, without exaggeration, divine.
We decided to dine in the hotel restaurant last night and it was an excellent choice: the dishes were very well prepared and harmonised with a light and delicious rosé wine.
The hotel still offers an excellent transfer service to the historic center of Taormina, which allows us to quietly alternate walks with rest times at the hotel.
Maximum note, with praise. We are already making plans to come back!

WWatermel0n2c1The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with beautiful scenery along the way. Since it is off-season, you don't need to worry about ZTL if you drive there in February, but the hotel villas and pool restaurant areas will not be open until March or April. The hotel apartment area is a separate building not far from the villa. Although it is an apartment, it is the most beautiful room I have stayed in Sicily. Extra large space, a big bed facing the sea, a balcony with sea views and Mount Etna at the same time, waking up from the bed every day will have the best mood. The hotel staff is very friendly and enthusiastic, providing butler-style service, helping us move the car, check in, carry luggage, and take the initiative to introduce hotel facilities and surrounding attractions. The pink sunset in Taormina is the best welcome gift for this trip.

GGuest UserLovely hotel with good location and parking spot 15-20 drives from Taormina, perfect place to stay between Taormina and Mount Etna. HIghly recommend spacious clean place with unbeaten price / has place to drop off luggage before and after checkin-out. Also available for late checkin with instructions to the room printed out. Only downside is if you have lots of luggages as you need to climb the stair up or down to get to your room. But overall we are very happy! Would recommend!

GGuest UserIt takes 10 minutes to drive from Taormina Old Street. The hotel is a house by the sea. Parking is on the side of the road. Welcome drinks are delicious. Breakfast is very general.

GGuest UserThe first time I went to Sicily, I blindly chose this hotel on Trip.com . I feel very lucky! The hotel is small in size and the number of rooms is not large. But the victory is beautiful on the hillside and the scenery is beautiful.
Rosanna and Krizia helped me a lot before and after check-in and play plan, and Antonio also helped me a lot later on.
We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a simple kitchen, including a refrigerator and cookware. There is a supermarket nearby (Eurospin) where you can buy food and make it yourself. Very suitable for our family outing.
It is worth mentioning that there is an Alcantara Canyon nearby, the knee-deep stream is clear and cold, and the summer is a great retreat. There are also beaches in Taormina, of course.
Friendly tip: You need to rent a car. Apple Maps or Google Maps will do.

FFEIYUNOutdated facilities, small rooms, poor sound insulation, the crowds in the streets have been talking about in the middle of the night, the music of the hotel restaurant awakened me in the morning. In the city center, close to the cathedral, the service is acceptable, the breakfast is rich, and the large terrace on the third floor is beautiful. In general, the price/performance ratio is in taormina in August. It is fine if I booked a hotel on the same day as I did. If it is a low season, there should be many better choices.

Air conditioning heating is very poor, heating needs to contact the staff to turn on
The water in the shower room is blocked. Every time I take a bath, I leak water on the floor of the toilet.
The room is large but the facilities are average
There's a kitchen, induction cookers and pots and utensils, but no oven dishwasher or something.
Overall not recommended. Living on the mountainside. The location is OK. Every time you go out, you have to climb a lot of stairs.
