Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark

This hotel is in a very convenient location if you need to be at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Staff at reception was very friendly and welcoming and the room is spacious and at first sight looks comfortable (it looks better in reality than on the photos I took). Unfortunately, the beds are extremely soft though. That is of course a matter of personal preference and some guests may like the soft mattresses, but I couldn't sleep on them. Fortunately, there was a sofa in the room that was large enough to sleep on and much more comfortable than the beds;-) I might stay here again because of the location, but in terms of beds this would probably not be my first choice.

The hotel offered an overall satisfactory stay. Breakfast was acceptable, with a reasonable selection. The location is a bit far from the city center, which may be inconvenient without transport. The room was fine and met basic expectations. Staff were polite and adequate. A plus point is the availability of a car park, which is convenient for guests with cars.

The rooms were modern and clean. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. It’s located a bit outside the city center, but the nearby metro station makes commuting very easy.

I chose here before heading to kinderdijk the next morning because it is relatively cheap and still Novotel. I enjoyed the stay. So if you are visiting Rotterdam, this hotel’s location maybe too suburban. But if you re just looking for somewhere clean and nice to spend the night before heading to the next destination, this is a good choice.

Great newly built hotel. Great view if you get the city side rooms. Some of the new modern designs does come out a bit out of place and sometimes not well thought out. Lots of room to improve in order to be a true 4 star

The rooms are spacious for family with three people. Signed is comfortable. But the window was leaked and the raining water ran inside the room. The location was not close to the city centre and needs to take public transport to city centre.
