GGuest UserFirstly, this hotel is Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's highest-rated luxury hotel, and most of its services are of a very high standard. For example, the two male managers who served me on the night of my check-in were professional and friendly, which prompted me to extend my stay for another day at my own expense. The hotel's dining service is also top-notch, both in terms of staff quality and food excellence – truly fantastic. However, on the last day of my extended stay, there were a few incidents that I can't quite get over. Firstly, a female manager, in front of several staff members, questioned whether I had paid for the first two nights. This was not only bad luck during the Chinese New Year, but such an inquiry in public, without regard for the guest's dignity, is truly debatable. Secondly, I trusted the hotel to help me call taxis, one for sightseeing in the morning and another for the airport the next day. The cost was significantly higher, but they explained it, and I accepted. The taxi for sightseeing went smoothly as I booked it on the spot. When I returned to the hotel at noon, no one informed me whether the taxi for the 6 AM airport transfer the next day had been confirmed. I couldn't help but go downstairs to ask if there was a taxi available to the State Department Store. After a staff member made a call, they said the taxi company had no cars available due to the holiday, and I could only walk or try my luck on the street. I was dumbfounded at that moment. I was supposed to leave at 5:50 AM tomorrow, and no one had informed me whether the taxi booking was successful, nor was there a contract or notification. What was I supposed to do? So, I quickly arranged a car through a travel agency for an airport transfer at 5:50 AM the next morning. When I checked out at 5:30 AM the next day, the receptionist told me a car had been booked. It was a very passive situation, and I also had to explain the issue with the room fees from the previous two days. Fortunately, the receptionist that day was very professional and understood my urgency to catch my flight, helping me resolve each issue professionally. Highly commendable!!

CCatherine AnnThis hotel was not as grand as we remembered of Kempinski Hotels, and in fact felt a little dated. Especially the twin-bed room which had an odd layout. But it was comfortable and had all the amenities you could need. Staff were very helpful and professional. We ate one night in the hotel and food was good.
The hotel is about 2km from the square. You can walk it (about 30 mins) but it is also to get a UBcab anywhere using the app.

DDuerjiaThe hotel is very clean, nicely decorated, and its location is great. Many city attractions are within walking distance. Breakfast was decent, and the views were excellent. However, I was a bit disappointed that the hotel had a separate breakfast area exclusively for Korean guests, and others weren't allowed in. I would have really liked to try it.

KKitKatKateThe hotel is modern and situated in a mall. It’s in a walkable spot to good locations e.g. The State Department Store and Black Market. Everything was very clean, the room was spacious and it was comfortable.
The woman on the reception desk was not particularly polite nor helpful - our keycard did not work immediately after checking in. The room was also very hot and the temperature could not be changed.

Rravil65I liked the hotel. It is located not far from the city center. There is a bus stop next to the hotel, you can get to the train station and bus station. The room is clean, there is a kettle, a refrigerator. TV with different channels. The room is not new, but clean. We did not eat in the restaurant, there is a store next to the hotel where you can buy food. The prices are not high.

DDiver MikelI have been to the hotel for many years, however, it changed somehow and it’s not to the good!
This morning I went to the breakfast at 9am and there was literally nothing left. I just had a coffee and Joghurt. It is said the service ends at 10. When I asked the waitress she nodded and nothing happened. At 9:30 all the cutlery was moved away.
If you book for several days no one comes to clean up the room.
For a free water you shall ask at the front desk.
The size of the lobby area and restaurant area was reduced to half for a strange „VIP“ room. So I liked the old hotel arrangement much more … Hope? At least the service can improve a bit!

GGuest UserIt is comfortable and very good for a price. Had a funny accident, was given a key to the occupied room. Partially dressed man was there. :)) But then the room was changed. Safe did not work but was fixed, lamps did not work on night stands but I did not need it. Overlooking the construction site. The shower button could not switch, but when someone helped it was a great shower, water pressure. Location is not that beautiful but it had a good sauna, small swimming pool and a good small gym.
