Flight from Singapore to Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar is the largest and capital city of Mongolia. It is the cultural, financial and industrial heart of the country. The city was founded in 1639 as a wandering Buddhist monastic centre. In 1778 it settled permanently in the current location at the junction of Selbe and Tuul rivers. Before this, it was changed 28 times and each time the locations were chosen ceremonially.  It grew into a major manufacturing centre in the twentieth century. It is also a member of the Asian Network of Major Cities. The Soviet-era buildings, museums, surviving monasteries’ and a vibrant combination of traditional and 21st-century lifestyles are what attract tourists to this city.

Chinggis Khaan International Airport is the international airport serving Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. It is the largest international airport in the country located southwest of the city.
