This hotel is excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean, and they even have balconies. The pools are beautiful and plentiful. Most importantly, the service is outstanding, from the front desk to the late-night meal service (the fried chicken was also delicious). It's a stark contrast to the Shinhwa Hotel. The ocean view is stunning, and it's right next to the folk village. It was a very comfortable stay. If you're not planning on exploring the city, this hotel is definitely the top choice for a vacation.

Jeju Island Hotel Recommendation | Shilla Hotel The Shilla Hotel, with its Southern French charm, is located in Seogwipo, Jeju Island. The hotel perfectly suited my taste and is also ideal for family vacations. I absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again. **Regarding Transportation** We hired a private car from the airport to the hotel, which took less than an hour. However, getting to the city center from here is not convenient. We chose this hotel specifically for a relaxing vacation, so apart from taking a taxi to Hello Kitty Island, we walked everywhere else. **Regarding the Room** We booked a mountain view room, and the scenery was lovely. Sitting on the balcony, we could enjoy a vast expanse of greenery, which was truly refreshing. There was one king-sized bed and one smaller bed, both very comfortable, and turndown service was provided. The blinds were a bit sheer, so if you're bothered by light, you can ask the hotel staff to install curtains. The bathroom and toilet were separate (wet and dry areas), and the space was very large, making our stay very comfortable. **Regarding Dining** The hotel's restaurants are all excellent. This time, we only experienced the breakfast buffet, but you can also choose the lunch buffet. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and varied! Everything was exquisite and delicious. I highly recommend choosing a room package that includes breakfast when booking. For dinner, we found restaurants near the hotel, and overall, dining was very convenient. **Regarding Family-Friendly Amenities** The Kids' Island on the basement level is perfect for preschoolers, with various interesting board games that even adults would want to play. Kids' Club (Gymboree) requires reservations, and we didn't have time to experience it this time, but we look forward to it next time. The indoor and outdoor pools are connected, and there's live music in the evening, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Remember that the outdoor sun loungers need to be reserved, which is very convenient, and you get to use them for a long time after reservation. **Regarding Service** From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable! There was a small hiccup with installing the curtains, but before we left, they specially gave us a cute teddy bear with blue plaid, which was a lovely gesture. The hotel's strong Southern French vibe makes for great photos! Walking to Jungmun Saekdal Beach involves many steps, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. The hotel's attention to detail is excellent, with a waterfall and even a small zoo. Two nights felt barely enough.

I had a great stay at Mido Hostel! The room was clean, and the bathroom was also very clean and well maintained. A really nice touch is that when you arrive, you can choose between a free beer at the bar or a free breakfast. It was a great welcome! Each room has its own small fridge, which is very convenient, and there's also a washing machine available for guests, which was extremely useful during my trip. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped hostel. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travellers!

This hotel is perfect for a family vacation with young children. There's a Teddy Bear Museum nearby, and the garden pool is great for kids to play in. The Starbucks on the rooftop offers beautiful views. The hotel also has a convenient store, which is very handy. It's about a 20-minute walk to the beach.

This hotel is located in Seogwipo. From the airport, you can take bus 600 or 601 directly to the hotel entrance, which takes less than an hour, making it quite convenient. It's within walking distance of the most beautiful Starbucks, and there's an Olive Young nearby that's much less crowded than the ones in the city center. It's also very close to the Jusangjeolli Cliff. Right next to the hotel, there's a small commercial area with a few restaurants and a convenience store, which is very handy. While it might not be as convenient as hotels in the city center, it definitely offers a stronger resort vibe. The hotel pool even has evening performances, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

The overall service was good, and the rooms were marked with nationality, so Chinese-speaking assistance was available by phone. We could also request a child toilet seat. However, the overall facilities for families were a bit lacking compared to domestic parent-child hotels. There were no complimentary toothbrushes or toothpaste, so we had to bring our own or buy them from a vending machine. Only two bottles of mineral water were provided per day, and anything extra had to be purchased. Seogwipo City felt better for exploring than Jeju City, and both were about the same distance. Hyeopjae Beach is highly recommended. There was a sashimi place in the complex that was delicious, but Mom's fried chicken was just okay. For BHC fried chicken, the front desk could help order delivery, and it was a 15-minute walk away.

The public areas are really beautiful and comfortable; as soon as you step into the hotel, you feel like you're on vacation. The sea view is stunning on a clear day. The front desk staff can communicate in English. Our room wasn't ready at the 3 PM check-in time, but the hotel offered an alternative to switch to a non-sea view suite. We opted to wait for the sea-view room we booked, showing a proactive approach to problem-solving. Our luggage was delivered directly to the room, and we didn't encounter any unpleasant attitudes during our stay. Our room was in the East Tower, which I believe is the older building. I was initially worried it might be too dated after reading some reviews, but it was actually fine! The room was indeed very small, but clean and odor-free, with a complimentary minibar. The balcony was quite large, and the sea view was satisfying. The room door had average soundproofing, but the balcony door was well-insulated, making the room generally quiet. Highly recommended!

Originally planned for one night, but ended up extending my stay. The hotel has excellent facilities, including a gym, a pool, and free laundry service. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even pick out some items you like – I really appreciated that. The surrounding area is lovely and peaceful; you can walk to Olle Trail Route 7 and the Orange Cafe, both facing the sea. The oppa at the front desk even speaks Chinese, and I heard he used to teach in Zhejiang. His service was fantastic! 👍 The location is also convenient, with a CU store nearby that accepts Alipay and WeChat.

We were a family of 6, including my parents, on a trip to Jeju Island. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the Olle Market. As soon as we entered the room, the large window felt cool and was amazing. You could even see a bit of the ocean in the distance, haha! The bedding was clean, and all the staff members were very friendly! The breakfast was also neat and delicious!!! We definitely plan to visit again on our next family trip!!!
