Hotels with Bars in Taichung

I had a good time staying in this hotel. It’s so convenient. The service is really nice especially the Chinese restaurant served good food..

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the service and cleanliness were excellent. The hotel's location is superb, right opposite the train station, and within walking distance to Miyahara Eye Hospital. The price was reasonable too. Definitely my top choice when visiting Taichung.

We happened to have one night available and booked their Deluxe Room with Kitchen. I loved this twin bed room which had a small washer +dryer combo, kitchenette, sitting room with small couch and rotating TV. The bathroom was my favorite - spacious, nice modern design elements, bright and substantial shelving. Overall the place was bright comfortable apartment-style stay, home away from home with a modern and higher end feel. We used the small gym which had everything we needed - incline treadmills, mats, free weights, nice city views. We didn't get to use their dry and wet saunas but it would have been really nice as they are on the rooftop. The facilities are only available during certain staffed hours but was enough for us. Breakfast was good. I didn't mind the limited variety as the quality was enough with fresh salad options, toasty bread and ********* and american options. The only minor downsides were the hot food got a bit cold because they kept the lids up and they didn't have mild alternatives like oatmilk for coffee/cappuccino. Also public transportation is less accessible in that area. But otherwise I would stay there again in a second! Front desk staff were very helpful :)

I had a fantastic stay at Moxy Taichung. The hotel has a fun, modern, and energetic atmosphere that makes it stand out from traditional hotels. The stylish interior and vibrant common areas created a welcoming environment from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Although it wasn't very large, the space was used efficiently, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything felt new and well maintained. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and always ready to help. Their positive attitude made the stay even more enjoyable, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The location was convenient, with easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, and public transportation. It was a great base for exploring Taichung. Overall, Moxy Taichung is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a stylish, comfortable, and affordable hotel. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

It was a theme park hotel. Very far from town. The hotel was not a bad one, the facilities inside are good, but it can be better for the price range. The theme park is very old, and rather run down, some equipments were closed and abandoned with rust... not a bad one, but consider the price paid, it was not value for money...will revisit if the theme park go thru major renovation.

Very beautiful hotel. Staff were courteous. There is a KFC next to the hotel and a family mart nearby. Outside the hotel ,you can bus no.5 to taichung station. Overall I am very satified with my stay there.

Hotel is great overall, but beds are really hard surface type. The hotel feels like was last renovated / built some 20 or so years ago, which makes everything looks dated. However, in terms of cleanliness, service and location it is an excellent hotel (if you are ok sleeping on a hard bed). Staff is very helpful. We didn’t try spa or dining so cannot comment here. Location is good: it is not too far from central district yet if you’re driving (we did) you don’t have to drive through the most congested areas. There are a few excellent coffee places nearby. Many places around to eat.

It wasn't my first time at this hostel. I think it's a good one and the price is cheap. There's a market place close by and a bus stop. Beds are comfy. Just be aware that there are little spaces that bring either other people's light or the window's light. If you're sensitive to that, bring a eyemask. Otherwise, enjoy your stay.

Great location for traveling! Rooms are spacious. Only recommendation - please respond to messages sent through the chat. I asked about parking a the AI responder responded that there was no parking available. However, there is a parking lot in front of the hotel, although it is private parking the hotel still provides a ticket for free parking. Since I didn’t get a proper response, I had to make other arrangements for parking and only saw the parking when we travelled there by MRT.
