HHuber0712Highly recommend Mercure Hotel! The French elegant style is absolutely captivating, and the lobby's sophisticated fragrance is so soothing. The arched doorways and velvet seating create a wonderfully relaxed vibe. The rooms are spotless and impeccably detailed, with super soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The breakfast offers a great mix of Chinese and Western options, with freshly baked, flaky croissants and authentic local dishes – a truly rich selection. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and the robot delivery service is incredibly convenient. The location is great for getting around, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. It's definitely on my list for unlimited re-bookings!

SSuyicThe room is spacious and tidy, with very good lighting and a great view. The most important thing is the hair dryer, which is actually from Dyson. The breakfast is also very good. There are many varieties combining Chinese and Western. You can go to the gym to exercise if you are full. If you can’t sleep, you can go for a walk in the park downstairs. Xiaoyu Xiaoqi at the front desk is very satisfied with the service.

SSachiLeeBefore going there, I was mainly attracted by the environment here, although it is a bit far from the city. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The decoration is the same as the picture. The bed is very big. It is rare to find such a big bed in other places. It is more than enough for three people. The front desk has a very good attitude and is very patient. They also provide separate slippers and toothbrushes for the baby. The parking lot is indeed very large. It's big, maybe because there are so many people during the Qingming Festival, it's not easy to find a parking space when we come back late. I ordered takeout the next morning and it was delivered by a robot. The child loved it and it was very novel. All in all, it was a satisfying trip. I will stay here again next time I come to Shenyang.

AAnonymous UserThis is the second time I stayed at the Star River Hotel. Although their location is a little far from the city center, it is very close to the Liaoning Provincial Museum. The museum has a lot of exhibits, and there are also special exhibition halls for children, as well as many interactive equipment for children. The hotel facilities are very new and the rooms are very large. It is very comfortable to stay.

DdanalovetoeatThe location is unbeatable! You can take Metro Line 2 directly from the airport to People's Square, and from there, walk straight through Plaza 66 to the first floor where MANNER is, and right across from it is the hotel entrance on the first floor.
Take the elevator straight up to the 88th floor to the hotel lobby.
While checking in, I even saw the Shenyang Imperial Palace, which I was about to head to – it was absolutely stunning! So this is the joy of being on a super high floor.
Every day I woke up to look at the sky. I saw incredibly beautiful sunsets, mornings with super strong winds, and mornings with marshmallow clouds.
The subway connects to the government offices, Plaza 66, and then to the hotel. This was great, especially when I had online classes that ran into meal times – I just went out and got some delicious Thai takeout. Yes, it was my first time eating takeout in a hotel, and having this view as a companion made for an unforgettable memory.
I suddenly thought, if I did push-ups here, wouldn't I be able to apply for a Guinness World Record?
My friend immediately joked, 'You can break the record by doing it in the higher lobby!' [crying-laughing emoji]
I really loved the heated towel rack here. Such a joy to wash and dry!
The air conditioning can be hot or cold, which is super important during seasonal changes. Speaking of service, I originally asked for ten bottles of water, and the attendant boldly brought a whole case! The BYREDO toiletries are also a brand I like. The capsule coffee machine is very friendly for those who prefer to make their own breakfast.
As I left, I thought that I would definitely come back when I'm craving 'Jijia' (chicken rack) again! 🎈

DdanalovetoeatThe location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Rainbow Tower Night Market and LaoSiji restaurant. It's also quite convenient from the airport – you just exit Terminal 2 and cross the road. The shower pressure was good, and the staff were very friendly.
The window view was of the back parking lot, so the small window wasn't an issue. However, the bathroom area was very cramped, and the shower stall was tiny. The drain made loud noises intermittently at night. On the first night, the door wouldn't close properly; I only found out the next day from the staff that you had to really push it hard.
Overall, it doesn't look like a hotel that was renovated in 2024; it's not very well-maintained.
Minibar: I only realized after checking out that the minibar was complimentary on the first day, but this wasn't mentioned during check-in.

LL KeyWe had a great experience at the Phoenix Hotel. The housekeeping is very good. Breakfast is amazing. Service top notch. We did find the room very hot - even though it’s freezing outside. It’s also a bit inconvenient to ride the subway- the hotel is located between two stations, making it a bit far to get to either one.

Breakfast offered a great variety, and the extended dining hours from 6-10 AM were very convenient. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of amenities nearby and easy access to public transport (Metro Line 1 and 10). It's also just one stop away from Zhongjie Pedestrian Street. The lobby manager was incredibly accommodating, attentive to detail, and went above and beyond to meet guests' needs.
