tunaWe specifically booked this art-themed guesthouse in Hemu Village, and the experience was great. It perfectly complemented the scenery. The owner and manager were incredibly welcoming, and the rooms were warmly and uniquely decorated. They provided a special breakfast and bedtime milk every day, which was very thoughtful for our family with children. They also provided very detailed travel guides, making our trip more relaxed and enjoyable. The guesthouse's dogs, Dahuang and Banban, were the kids' best playmates, and they miss them terribly now that we're back.

Traveling Family from GermanyPerfect stay for a visit to Kanasi National Park.
Beautiful B&B at the end of the tourist village, across a stop of the free public bus bringing tourist to the parks entrance.
The owner directly welcomed us, our luggage was put in front of our room while we did the check in. No problem for me as a foreigner.
Room was spacious, tidy and well equipped. No A/C, but temperatures at night drop low enough for a comfortable sleep (late June).
Breakfast was basic Chinese, coffee available.
We had to shorten our stay due to a personal matter. Despite no free cancelation policy, the owner agreed to shorten our stay by 1 night and refund us the money. Everything handled over the Trip App in English.

Guest UserEnvironment:
You absolutely have to book a stay in the old village, as it's much more convenient. The new village is also a B&B right next to each other, but it's not as convenient. I originally wanted to book a stay in Yijing, but because I booked too late and there weren't enough rooms, I gave up. After comparing Yijing and Wushangyin, I ultimately chose Wushangyin. My stay confirmed my decision!
Location:
The location is quite convenient, within walking distance of the food court, though there isn't much good food there. You can take bus No. 2 or No. 3, which is two stops to Qiaotou Station, which is a ten-minute walk. Qiaotou Station is the central business district of Hemu Village, and KFC is right there.
Facilities:
Ansheng Villa and Wushangyin are located in separate courtyards, about 100 meters apart. The owner said Ansheng Villa only has four rooms. Surrounded by neatly arranged B&Bs, the view isn't very wide, but after a day of snow, the first clear day offered a beautiful view from the window. The interior is well-appointed, and the doors and windows are of excellent quality. There's also a slight foul smell from the sewers, which seems to be a common problem in Kanas and Hemu. We booked two rooms, a single-family room and a suite, located next door. The single-family room was larger and had a bathtub, but I doubt the electric water heater would have been able to handle the water usage. The suite was smaller, but had the advantage of a spacious shared living room. There was also a washing machine in the common area. During the snowy weather, which made it difficult to go out, I did a load of laundry. Although there wasn't a dryer, Xinjiang is even drier than Beijing, and even my fleece clothes dried in the underfloor heating.
Dining:
Breakfast was at Yinshi Fuguang Restaurant. It was quite crowded during the National Day holiday, so the food was average. The buffet was closed the next day, so we had tomato and egg noodles and beef noodles. They were better than the buffet and warm and comfortable. Yinshi Restaurant's main course was also good, with reasonably priced home-style dishes.

Guest UserFrom the meticulously maintained garden to every piece of furniture in the room, every corner reflects the hostess's dedication. The pristine environment isn't just a sign of respect for guests; it conveys a comforting sense of 'home away from home.' When the sun streams through the spotless windows and the bedding smells fresh, this visual and tactile comfort becomes the guesthouse's most inviting welcome. The guesthouse's Moco was an especially warm presence, leading us to watch the sunrise in the morning, adding an extra beautiful memory to our trip to Hemu.

The B&B's location is great, most of the popular attractions are within walking distance, and the surrounding area is quite lively. The service was good; any issues were promptly addressed. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. However, the facilities and cleanliness were just average. When we first checked in, there were water stains all over the toilet and the toilet seat, making me wonder if it hadn't been cleaned. Later that night, while in bed, I kept smelling a strange odor, but couldn't pinpoint the source. Since it was already late, I didn't call staff to deal with it. I also noticed two holes in the bedsheet. I hope they can improve their facilities and hygiene in the future.

XiaoxingyunailvxingBurqin is the first stop to Altay. There will be no direct flights from Shanghai to Altay in September, so we have to transfer in Lanzhou. The flight takes off at 6:55 and arrives in Altay at 15:00. You can rent a car and drive to Burqin for an hour and a half. After checking in, we went to the Internet Celebrity Bridge and then went to the food court opposite the hotel for dinner. The location of the hotel is also good. Together with Lavande, Lavande also comes here to have breakfast. Breakfast is quite complete, no freshly cooked noodles. The Yixiangyuan cold water fish dish I had for dinner in Burqin was the most delicious mutton kebab I had eaten in Altay for four days. It reminded me of the unforgettable mutton kebab I had on the Yizhao Highway three years ago. The price was 6 yuan/skewer. Also affordable. Zheka drove to Hemu and set off at 11 o'clock. After stopping and stopping, we arrived at 16:00, almost 5 hours.

Guest UserThis is our top choice for accommodation in Hemu Village! The location is superb, within walking distance to Hemu Bridge and the main street, offering a quiet retreat while still being close to the action. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a cozy and comfortable log cabin aesthetic. The underfloor heating is excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep even on dry days. The service is warm and attentive; they even provided helpful tips and recommendations for our trip. Every detail was perfect. Highly recommended!

Boli1I want to highlight the location of this hotel first. It's right near Hemu Bridge, just a short walk away. The rooms are newly renovated and spacious enough to spread out your luggage. The hot water is quick, and the bedding is comfortable. What's even better is that it's very close to the bustling area – the night market doesn't quiet down until 11:30 PM – but this place is completely unaffected by the noise. Definitely my top choice for accommodation in Hemu.

Guest UserThis hotel, Hemu Jikebulin, added so much beauty to our trip. Waking up to a view of rolling green mountains and swirling clouds right outside the window was absolutely stunning. The room layout was well-designed, with plenty of storage space, which was perfect for storing luggage during a long journey. The hotel facilities are excellent; the lounge areas are comfortable, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. It truly has a fantastic vacation vibe – easily a five-star standard!

Guest UserThe room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable, and we received a free room upgrade. The service was warm and attentive. It was very convenient for getting around and sightseeing, with a dedicated car pick-up and drop-off. We didn't even have to wait in line at the front desk; check-in was directly in our room. They patiently introduced us to local attractions and activities. The overall experience for dining, accommodation, and touring was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I truly recommend it to everyone!
