Hotels with balcony in Munich

If you're looking to explore nearby towns by train or bus, this hotel is perfectly located right across from the central train station – incredibly convenient! I felt safe and had no issues whatsoever. The old town entrance is also a short 800-900 meter walk away, so convenience is definitely a plus. The hotel's facilities pleasantly surprised me. I wasn't expecting much for around 1300-1400 during peak season in Europe, but it exceeded my expectations! The breakfast spread, as pictured, was also a delightful surprise!

Stayed for a night, was convenient close to the rail road station on the way to Austria. Friendly staff. Free tea and coffee. You can help yourself to drinks and snacks as long as you write in down for payment the next morning. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Thank you.

I stayed in a family apartment with a loft. It had a kitchen with all the cooking utensils and cutlery, plus a washing machine, fridge, and dishwasher, which made living there very convenient. The only downside was that the loft felt a bit cramped due to the low ceiling height.

Under normal circumstances, it's understandable to wait till 3pm before one can check in. The bookings made by my staff ************************ for a total of 8 guests from Malaysia from 2 to 8 May where one guest under Dr ************************ could not be present due to the admission of his father to hospital on 1st May and subsequently passed away on 2 May. ************* requested for cancellation and refund from Leonardo Hotels but was told to chanel the request to Trip.com. Upon checking with Trip.com she was informed that Leonardo Hotels had rejected their request for refund. The hotel booking was paid using my credit card under ******. I tried to request to use the room under Dr ******************* at 7am on 3 May but was rejected. On 8th May when 7 of the guests were departing at 6pm for their floght at 10pm , I was only allowed to stay until 3pm even though I requestes for extension to 6pm. This is not the point since check out time is 12pm or 2pm at max. I earnestly hope that the request for cancellation of the reservation for Dr ************************ for 6 nights be refunded. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Really appreciate the design of the room, and the comprehensive kitchen amenities. Only downside was that our toilet sink was partly choked, and aircon kept turning back to auto mode after 10 mins. Toilet had a rain shower with good pressure. The room had lots of storage space despite being relatively small. Would recommend and return if I come back to Munich!

The location was fantastic, very close to the station and within easy reach of the city center. The neighborhood felt very safe, which was a big plus. It was also great to have a supermarket and a coin laundry within walking distance. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. When the hairdryer in the room wasn't working, I went to the front desk and they immediately lent me a spare, which I thought was excellent service.

Hotel teams are very kind and ready to respond to your requests. Food is perfect and delicious. Hotel is quite new and clean. Location is a bit far from Munich center but it is very convenient for traveling. Also, very clean and safe area. Hotel is far from train station just 1-2 min walk.

The reception was indifferent and unfriendly. When booking, I specified the need for latex pillows and an extra luggage rack in the special requests section, but neither was provided upon check-in. The concierge's service was better. At check-out, I requested the frontdesk to help with my luggage, but no one came to assist. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also poorly attended to; the service was lukewarm and indifferent, perhaps due to the restaurant's high demand. The food quality was mediocre and did not live up to the website's claim of being the top restaurant in Munich. The Deluxe Room we booked online was advertised as 35-38 square meters, but the actual room was much smaller than expected. In short, aside from the location, everything else fell short of expectations, earning only a mediocre rating. I would likely not stay there again or recommend it to friends; perhaps my expectations were too high, leading to greater disappointment.

When I was heading out my room I closed the door very hard and the door was completely shut. It was supposed to be locked, but when I checked, I could open the door many times without using a key. It only truly locked after many tries. This is a security problem. Parking is quite far away. Neighbourhood is not too quitet because there are a few clubs and bars nearby. Reception is inside the bar, the check-in and entrance is through the back alley. That door is difficult to open, we spent a long time finding out and eventually had to kick it open.

However, this didn't ruin my stay at all! One of the absolute highlights of this hotel is the free parking. Anyone who has traveled to Munich knows that finding parking can be a total nightmare and incredibly expensive. Having free, secure parking right at the hotel is an absolute game-changer and saved me so much money and stress!
