The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for travelers planning day trips, as it is conveniently located near the train station. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work properly during the first two days of our stay. We were given a fan and informed that the hotel was already aware of the issue because other guests had reported it as well. Although we were told the problem would be fixed, we did not notice much improvement.
Initially, we assumed the unusually hot weather in Europe was the cause. However, after staying in hotels in two other countries, we realized the problem was specific to this property. The hotel appears to be showing its age, and some facilities could benefit from refurbishment.
Overall, the convenient location and excellent staff were definite highlights, but the malfunctioning air conditioning had a significant impact on our experience. Since we usually returned to the hotel exhausted after long days of sightseeing, we were looking forward to resting comfortably. Unfortunately, the temperature in the room remained uncomfortably warm, which made it difficult to relax and get a good night’s sleep.
