"It's 8-10 minutes away from the station. There are small shops, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. It's not a busy place, but it feels safe to go in and out. There are 4 stations away from the central points such as St. Mary's Square. The one-way fare is 4.1 euros, so I walked for about 30 minutes. The hotel has no air conditioning. No air conditioning. "The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station, bus station, tram, and subway. You can also walk to many places in the Old Town and the New Town Hall Square without taking the tram. Enjoy exploring on foot. The area is a bit mixed, but there are many other branded hotels nearby, and everyone has to deal with the same diverse environment. There are plenty of eateries, including many Middle Eastern restaurants, creating a rich exotic atmosphere. The hotel also provides stemmed wine glasses for guests to enjoy their purchased drinks. Lovely hotel, very convenient for all types of transportation. Easy to find Middle Eastern food too. The room is big."

"The place was comfortable and clean, but a bit run down. For the price, I think it's adequate. The only issue is the service, as we had very different experiences. When we arrived, we were treated excellently, but when we left, the service left much to be desired. "The German hotel acquired by Huazhu Group The hardware is almost five-star standard, no doubt about it. The breakfast is also very plentiful and perfect. Free parking is available nearby. The only problem is the front desk staff is incompetent. They desperately need training. I contacted them multiple times beforehand to request five twin beds, but when I arrived they said there were only three, leaving me with nothing. After half an hour of haggling, they said there was a disabled twin bed on the ground floor. Finally, they resolved the issue. Otherwise, I would have given it a zero. Thankfully, the ground floor has a high ceiling, which is a plus."

"Rooms are new and clean, comfy beds and great facilities. Only problem is the wifi. Depending on where your room is. First 2 nights got a corner attic room and couldnt get the wifi at all, in fact i had to connect to the wifi of the hotel loewe which is ridiculous because that hotel wifi router is further than the router of the hotel. Feel like im not the only one who complained about it. Also, if you arrive after 11pm, you have to go to the partner hostel on the other street just to get the passcode to enter. I dont understand why they cant email or message us the code, its just a 4 digit number. Have contacted trip.com customer to call them to check and they said no alternative.. Unique to each customer yes, but not like we're going to share the code with people we're travelling with? Need a better system for this"

"Everything was ok except that there’s no air conditioning in the room. Informed reception but they said there is aircon (couldn’t feel any wind at all) and we can’t adjust the temp and it’s different from the US aircon system where we can adjust as we wish. It’s honestly very stifling in the room and we were perspiring while sleeping, even waking up in the middle of the night because it’s too warm. Opening the window doesn’t help because there’s no wind at all and it’s also pretty warm out there. Winter would probably be good space to stay in but definitely not in the rest of the seasons"

"Having stayed here before, I knew what to expect. The self check in, and out, is very convenient. The room was great, clean and comfortable. AAnonymous UserI stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, I’m very disappointed. Let’s start with the positives: the location is excellent. Right opposite the train and metro station, Lidl & Rewe supermarkets nearby, and just a straight 15‑minute walk into the old town. Super convenient. But unfortunately, that’s about it. Service was really flat — communication with reception was very standard, nothing warm or welcoming. The room itself was on the small side (clean, yes, but definitely not spacious). The real disappointment: water policy. The hotel only provides ONE small bottle of water per day per room. That’s for two people. On my first day, I asked reception for an extra bottle — they told me to go to the bar. Fine, I got one there. On the second day, since we skipped housekeeping, there was no water refill, so at night I went to the bar again to ask for another bottle. This time the staff told me I had to pay. I was completely shocked. A 4‑star hotel charging €200 per night… and they won’t even provide guests with a simple bottle of still water? I’ve stayed in so many hotels across Europe and this is the first time I’ve encountered something like this. Even more absurd, the hotel leaves free apples at reception and offers unlimited water at breakfast — but refuses to give guests a bottle of water to take to the room? Ridiculous. This policy really ruined what could have been a good stay. For a “collection” hotel brand, I expected much more in terms of service and hospitality. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel.

DDCRYBuilding is located around 400m from Siemenswerke station but the walk is not sheltered so need to take note of rain/snow. Room is spacious and comes with washing machine and cooking wares. Toilet does not have sufficient wet and dry separation so unable to on the showerhead fully without water flowing out to the dry area. I went during the holiday season so the service staff was unable to respond to my query on one of the days of the holiday period. Room price is considered reasonable to me given that I booked during the holiday season and it comes with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

GGuest UserWe received excellent service at this hotel during our check in provided by Aaryan. Aaryan helped guide us into the parking garage, was super friendly and got us a room in the main tower where there was an elevator to use (despite our booking in the less expensive annex room). He even offered to provide us suggestions for the sunny weather during our stay in Munich and made sure to say hello and check in on us each time we saw it. It was natural and friendly customer service. The hotel is a little older and has some interesting decor. The room had a futon couch, a good bed, desk area, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge (with some pop and water you could pay for), an iPod dock, a good sized TV, and plenty of counter space to put our things. They provided gummy bears and a couple of cookies in our room too which was nice. The bed was comfy for me and the hotel can provide more bedding or pillows on request. We felt the cleanliness could have been better as our tea cups were a bit dirty. The bathroom was interesting with two stools but really a place to put them. The shower was not our favourite with no door or shower curtain and the glass was not enough to keep the water in. There is an all in one shampoo/body wash that was ok. The towels were a little thin and could use replacement. The cost of the hotel was good and we felt it was a decent location. It is a bit far from the main attractions of Munich but it has good public transport access including the nearby central station which is less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores by the hotel that are open quite late and there are some Bavarian/Oktoberfest souvenir stores nearby. I felt safe walking around alone at night to get a late night doner. The breakfast at the hotel is pretty good with a good variety of food including deli meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and tea. There was lots of seating available including some artsy chairs. There is limited parking at this hotel and it is very tight so we are glad we rented a compact. If you choose to park here you have to go in to see reception so they can open the door and guide you to your spot. It may also be recommended to contact the hotel in advance to reserve a spot. The front desk initially said it was 20 euros for parking but charged us 22. There are other parkades nearby but due to the construction in the area we felt there was convenient having the car parked at the hotel.

Jj_cdUpon arriving at the hotel in the morning, we dropped off our luggage and went out. We returned at the scheduled check-in time of 2 PM, only to find our room in complete disarray and not yet cleaned. After showing photos to the front desk, they immediately arranged for housekeeping. We had to wait for about an hour for the room to be ready. However, Tsira Patsuria at the front desk handled the situation exceptionally well. She offered us tea and pastries while we waited and apologized, explaining that it was Oktoberfest and there was a high volume of guests checking in. She also kindly waived the charges for the draft beer and the snacks in our room. The hotel is very close to the main train station, making it convenient for getting around. The suite was spacious, and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of cheese and salmon, just what I like. I would definitely consider staying here again.
