"The rooms have air conditioning, but the restaurant wasn't open during breakfast. This place is perfect for those traveling by car, as the parking lot is quite spacious. The entrance and garden are adorned with beautiful hydrangeas, and opening the window in the room offers a lovely view of lush greenery. It's very comfortable. The room is quite large, and I particularly loved the small cabinet in front of the toilet, perfect for placing your phone – a very thoughtful design! In the evenings, the ground floor transforms into a lively and busy restaurant. It's ideal for guests attending exhibitions or on business trips. However, I wouldn't recommend it for solo female travelers arriving late at night and relying on the subway. The walk from the subway station to the hotel passes by three strip clubs (or what appeared to be, given the many bikini-clad women in photos). While the area is generally safe, and the other side is a business district, I admit I felt a little uneasy walking to the hotel by myself the first night. The next day, I opted for a taxi."

"While your hotel facilities are acceptable, the operational failures and hostile staff conduct during my recent stay were entirely unacceptable. My room was located excessively far from the lobby, which amplified a serious safety hazard: the in-room telephone was completely broken. When I discovered the television was also unusable (stating the room was ”not checked in”), housekeeping dismissed me, forcing me to walk all the way to reception just to report your own technical failures. Worse, I experienced an emergency when my phone died without a universal adapter. Instead of helping me during an urgent situation, your staff predatorily refused to assist unless I purchased an overpriced adapter from the hotel. To top it all off, the reception staff were cold and dismissive. Their complete lack of basic courtesy and welcoming demeanor went beyond poor customer service. it felt distinctly like racial bias. A broken room phone is a safety violation, but your staff’s total lack of empathy during an emergency is a failure of management. I expect a formal response regarding how you plan to address these room defects and the deeply problematic behavior of your front desk team. Die Ausstattung Ihres Hotels ist zwar akzeptabel, die betrieblichen Mängel und das Verhalten Ihres Personals während meines Aufenthalts waren jedoch absolut inakzeptabel. Mein Zimmer lag extrem weit von der Lobby entfernt, was ein erhebliches Sicherheitsrisiko verschärfte: Das Zimmertelefon war komplett defekt. Als ich feststellte, dass auch der Fernseher nicht funktionierte (Anzeige: „Zimmer nicht eingecheckt“), wurde ich vom Housekeeping abgewiesen. Ich wurde gezwungen, den gesamten Weg zur Rezeption zu laufen, nur um Ihre eigenen technischen Fehler zu melden. Noch schlimmer war, dass ich mich in einer Notsituation befand, als mein Handy-Akku leer war und ich keinen Universaladapter dabei hatte. Anstatt mir in dieser dringenden Lage zu helfen, weigerte sich Ihr Personal, mich zu unterstützen, und drängte mich stattdessen in räuberischer Absicht dazu, einen völlig überteuerten Adapter vom Hotel zu kaufen. Zu allem Überfluss war das Personal an der Rezeption kalt und abweisend. Der völlige Mangel an grundlegender Höflichkeit ging über schlechten Kundenservice hinaus – es fühlte sich eindeutig nach rassistischer Voreingenommenheit an. Ein defektes Zimmertelefon ist ein Sicherheitsverstoß, aber das völlige Fehlen von Empathie Ihres Personals in einer Notsituation ist ein Versagen des Managements. Ich erwarte eine formelle Rückmeldung darüber, wie Sie diese Mängel im Zimmer und das zutiefst problematische Verhalten Ihres Rezeptionsteams beheben wollen."

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Really appreciate the design of the room, and the comprehensive kitchen amenities. Only downside was that our toilet sink was partly choked, and aircon kept turning back to auto mode after 10 mins. Toilet had a rain shower with good pressure. The room had lots of storage space despite being relatively small. Would recommend and return if I come back to Munich!"

"Just next to the famous Hofbrahaus, steps away from Hard Rock Cafe, and a short walk to Marienplatz and to Viktualien Markt. If you like the liveliness of the merry drinkers at night, you can hear them clearly, even up from the higher levels. Otherwise, try to ask for a room that’s not facing Hofbrahaus. They have a nice “spa” room on Level 5 featuring herbal/floral tea and communal/complimentary Epone skincare products. Drinks in the fridge are free too but they don’t top it up unless you request for it and even then, they only top up the non-beer types. Could do better on this front, Platzl Hotel.. service is alright, staff are generally friendly"

"Lovely staff that could help and give tips. Nice location related to transport for further exploration of the city. The aircondition was a environment friendly cooling system, it works but it isn’t as powerful as the normal aircon and was a bit confusing at first."

"What stood out most to me was the professionalism and warmth of the staff. From check-in to dining arrangements and everyday requests, every interaction reflected thoughtful and attentive service. The breakfast and on-site dining options were also excellent, with high-quality offerings that significantly enhanced my overall stay experience."

"I was on a business trip and this hotel had all the right things - great shower, extremely comfortable bed, very easy check in-check out. Also very safe.  There was a fire alarm (turned out to be a false alarm because someone was burning food in a room) during the night and the alarm, fire escape, etc all swung into action.  Not normally a thing to put on a hotel review and I'm sure it's a very rare event.  But the point is, everything worked and it means I'll feel very safe staying there in future."

"It is a stone's throw away from Munich Main Station and you can reach several attractions on foot. There are free apples at the front desk! The reception is also very warm! Good value for money! Free candies are also given when you check in!"

"A small, cozy hotel, very conveniently located and easy to find. The staff were friendly and attentive. There wasn't a fridge in the room, which was my oversight as I hadn't read the room description, and no air conditioning, so it was a bit stuffy. The water pressure was good, and the heated floors (great for drying clothes quickly) were a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious."
