"In a kind of nondescript commercial area. But very convenient for airport access, especially with the on call shuttle. The amenities aren’t luxurious but totally adequate for those in and out of the airport. Hotel itself has a restaurant and self service breakfast was pretty decent. A few eating spots within 5-10 minutes walk. The shuttle driver will also take people to the shopping area right by the airport. A small outdoor pool is great for entertaining kids. Given New Zealand produces a lot of big skin care products , the hotel soaps and lotions is by Earth’s Botanical and were very nice."

That said, the rooms are not very spacious, and the breakfast is average for a 5-star property. Service at the restaurant was disappointing, especially regarding food allergies: some allergens were indicated, others weren’t, and in some cases the staff didn’t seem to know. The concierge service was also underwhelming—at check-out, we had four large suitcases and were only asked “you all good?”, with no help offered."
