Mövenpick Hotel Auckland

The location is super convenient, right next to the Central Station. There are also plenty of restaurants and boutique shops nearby.

The hotel is close to the harbor, and Queen Street is just across the road, making it very convenient to get around. The room offers a partial sea view and is a decent size. The bed is comfortable and large enough for two people. Cleanliness is not an issue, and the coffee is good. However, the room lighting is too dim, which I didn't like. The windows aren't soundproof, so you can hear outside noise late at night on weekends. If you're only staying in Auckland for a short visit and exploring the city, this is a great choice, especially recommended for families with children.

The hotel is in a great central location and easy to find, with a subway and bus station right downstairs. You don't need to transfer to get to attractions or shopping areas, and many places are within walking distance, which is a huge plus for free and independent travelers as you won't get tired dragging luggage around. The only downside was at checkout, they said they'd inspect the room later in the afternoon and then inexplicably charged me 15 yuan. After I discussed it with them, they said it was for the previous guest and was a mistake. They did refund the money in the end, but due to the exchange rate difference, I still lost a little.

The room was spacious with a beautiful view, and the hotel was very close to all the attractions – we walked almost everywhere. It's especially rare to find a concert venue so close to the city center, only about a 10-minute walk. However, the restaurant on the 13th floor was terrible; I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the pier, making it incredibly convenient for getting everywhere by ferry, train, bus, etc. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The room was a bit small, but surprisingly, it even had a Midea mini-fridge. The room was clean, and I could see street views and the sunset from the window. Breakfast was quite basic. Overall, it wasn't great value for money.

The hotel's location is excellent. All the brands I wanted to visit were on the same street as the hotel, and it's only about 600 meters from Lu Chao, making shopping very convenient. Getting to and from the airport is easy – just take a direct bus from the Sky Tower. The subway station is right next to the hotel, which is also a big plus. Luggage storage is free.
