The room size was adequate, and the main draw of this hotel is its convenient location right inside the Sky Tower. After arriving via Sky Drive, it's just a short walk to the lobby. Queen Street is very close, and Albert Street is right next door. There are many Asian supermarkets, restaurants, and coffee shops nearby, and the highly-rated Mong Kok Roast Meats is just across the street. We arrived at 7:30 AM, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helped us check in without any extra charges. This was our second trip to New Zealand, and we felt like you can't go wrong staying here.

I had booked the room for 4 nights stays in May 2026.II specially requested for near the lift. When I arrived and checked in I was given the furthest away from the lift . I understand the hotel will try their best to accommodate but I was pretty upset that since May till now August, that request could not be acceded to. The location is fantastic and the staff were friendly. Another issue I had was the housekeeping . The room had no water, no bedroom slippers and toiletries. The cleanliness in the bathroom was seriously not up to standard. From the day I checked in and to the date I checked out . The hair in the shower area and surrounding the shower area was left as it is. (Picture enclosed)I met the housekeeper on the way out on the second day and had to request for water and bedroom slippers, which was given. No top up of drinks subsequently. I would stay in this hotel again for the location but please upgrade your housekeeping standard . That was a great disappointment.

The room facilities are a bit dated, but its location is excellent, with everything conveniently nearby. The Sky Tower next door requires you to buy tickets from the hotel's -1 floor to go up. The staff was on break during lunch, so I couldn't do the skywalk.

The hotel was generally clean and conveniently located right downstairs from a **! There were many food options nearby, and it was just a few minutes' walk to the pier and about a 20-minute walk to the Fish Market! However, the front desk service was terrible. My luggage was delayed due to a flight, and I needed the front desk to call the airport for me. I handed my phone to the front desk staff, asking them to use the hotel phone to call the airport. Instead, he just used my phone (Malaysian number) to contact them directly! Seriously! What kind of service attitude is that? Terrible! 👎
