Planning a trip from Singapore to Macau?

Macau uses a non-stamping immigration system. After immigration clearance, eligible visitors receive a printed Slip of Authorization to Stay, which shows the permitted length of stay and the slip should be kept during the trip

This guide explains the Macau arrival card requirement, entry documents, immigration process and what Singapore travellers should prepare before travelling.

Is An Arrival Card Required for Macau?

Macau

No. Travellers do not need to complete a Macau Arrival Card.

In the past, we had to fill out paper immigration forms for Macau, but since July 2013, the Macau government has switched to a paperless, stamp-free electronic immigration system.

Macau introduced its non-stamping immigration clearance policy in 2013.

Under the current system, passengers do not need to fill in an arrival card or have their passport stamped when entering or leaving Macau.

Instead, immigration authorities issue a printed Slip of Authorization to Stay showing the permitted stay.

The slip is important, so keep it somewhere safe throughout your trip. If you lose it, you can approach designated immigration offices or checkpoints to request a reissue.

If you lose your Macau Arrival Card, don't worry! You can easily get a replacement for free at any immigration checkpoint in Macau or at the Public Security Police Force branch in Taipa.
