4-Star Hotels in Shaanxi, China

My friend and I stayed at the Center Hotel for only one night, but even in that short time we were really impressed. The room was clean, and the service was impeccable, even before our arrival. The hotel was very communicative via WeChat and organized our pickup from the train station seamlessly. We had unlimited water, a very spacious room, and even a water fountain available for hot tea. On top of that, the hotel included a lovely tea time with various teas, coffee, sweets, fruits, and vegetables. Breakfast was delicious, and the buffet offered a great selection. The location is perfect — right in the center near the Bell Tower — giving you easy access to all the hustle and bustle of the city within walking distance, while still allowing for a restful and peaceful sleep. The staff was super helpful and professional throughout our stay, they helped us organise the terracotta army ticket. Truly a 5-star experience — we will definitely be back!

The room was very cosy, more importantly, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. Hot water shower is perfect. Free laundry meaning free use of the washer dryer . Free toothbrush, comb, sewing kit, nail file, shower cap, moisturiser, shsmpoo, liquid soap, hair conditioner, hair dryer. Good quality stuff too so you dont gave to bring your from home unless you want to. The staff was very attentive and accommodating even when I had tons of questions. The hotel offered free Chinese costume photoshoot. The staff dont speak English so everything was communicated via Google Translator. On the paper they gave, it said that I needed to do my own make up but when I went down, I learned it was free. Free make up, free hair stuff, free costume, free photography, free editing. First 3 photos. After that, in my limited Mandarin, I think its 10 photos for a bit less than RMB9600. The ones they gave free they uploaded to Wechat so you need to upload Wechat before you arrive in China. Wechat is similar to WhatsApp. The photos uploaded to Wechat is of low resolution so if you decide to print a large photo when you get home, know that it wont be clear. Also the hotel has free bracelet making where they give you a bunch of Chinese looking beads for you to make your own bracelet. Please put aside 2 hours for these activities If you turn right of the hotel you will reach the main touristy area. If you walk straight and then turn left after the temple, you will walk through the happening night life area of restaurants and pubs and coffee bars. My room faces the ancient city wall. Like directly at it so I was silently screaming with excitement. Even the morning museum announcements at 7am didnt upset me because im looking directly at history. It might get noisy at night on weekends because the bars are nearby. I could hear one couple screaming at each other past 1am yet that didnt upset me because hey, we are travellers experiencing different cultures.

Let's start with the positives. The location is excellent, with over a dozen bus routes nearby and a metro interchange close by, making it super convenient for visiting attractions. Since it's a relatively new hotel, the facilities and hygiene are good. It's a five-story building, so staying on the top floor is very quiet. The decor is stylish, and they even have a game room, catering to a trendy, artistic crowd, which is why most guests are young people, both local and international. The service is great, and they even gave me some snacks at checkout. On the downside, the room is quite small, and the Wi-Fi is slow and prone to disconnecting, but I can't expect too much given the low price. The hotel is located in an alley, which makes it quiet, but hailing a taxi or finding its exact location can be a bit tricky. Overall, it offers good value for money and is comparable to a 3-star guesthouse.

This hotel is perfectly located! Just a 10-minute walk downstairs to the Muslim Quarter and the Bell Tower, so it's super close to all the attractions. What really stood out was how spacious the room was and the excellent facilities. The gym and laundry room were also very convenient and useful. For the price, this place is incredible value for money. I highly recommend staying here!

My stay at the麗怡酒店 (Regal Hotel) in Xi'an was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is superb, right next to the subway station, and just a few minutes' walk to popular attractions like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The bathroom, with its wet and dry separation and high-end toiletries, really highlighted the attention to quality details. The biggest surprise was breakfast – the authentic Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) paired with Hutang (spicy soup) instantly awakened my taste buds, giving me a true taste of Xi'an. The hotel's service was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive, seamlessly blending historical charm with modern comfort. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this place is an ideal choice. Highly recommended!

Facilities: This B&B is a real gem, and it's popular with foreign guests 🌙. Cleanliness: Super clean! Every nook and cranny was spotless 😊. Ambiance: I absolutely loved the vibe, my only minor gripe is that the room was a bit on the small side 🤫. Service: The service was fantastic across the board—from the front desk staff to the cleaning crew and even the gentleman serving breakfast, everyone was great 👍. Location: The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and the city square 🤩. The hotel also offered complimentary coffee ☕️ and wine 🍷. Even though I couldn't enjoy them because I was with my child 🥹, I really appreciated the overall atmosphere. In a city as historic as Xi'an, there are so many hotels, but it's nice to experience a B&B for a different kind of stay 😊👍.

Highly recommended! The Orange Feather Orange Hao Hotel right by Yongning Gate subway station is super convenient. It's only a three-minute walk to the subway, making it easy to get to Xiaonanmen Morning Market in about 15 minutes. The room was spotless, the bedding incredibly soft and comfy, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The natural light and ventilation were excellent. You get a fantastic view of the city wall at night – perfect for photos! Housekeeping was meticulous, even folding our clothes. Plus, there's a free Hanfu experience, a self-service laundry room, and free parking, which is really practical and offers great value for money. It made our trip to Xi'an so hassle-free. Definitely recommend it if you're visiting Xi'an!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's the best hotel near Chuangxin Port!! The commute is super convenient, the service is excellent, and it's very close to the university. The best part is the room design – it's incredibly well-thought-out! There's a fridge, a desk, a huge shower head, and even a separate vanity mirror and dressing table! Ji Hotel really understands what guests need!

Overall, the location is decent, room was big though a little impractical. Yes, the hotel is incredibly near Bell Tower, but because the roundabout is huge, getting from one quarter to another is rather far. So while the hotel is indeed near the Bell Tower, you still need to walk a little to get to KaiYuan mall and Hui Street. We booked this room type simply because of the tub. The tub was good, room huge. But weirdly enough, it feels like there isn't enough storage. E.g., there's no place to put your luggage. The shower knob looks good but is very difficult to adjust. The toilet isn't the smart kind you find in other modern hotels in China. That's about the bad points, I think overall there's no perfect hotel, so just wanted to give you a true review of this hotel.

I like the hotel a lot and have great experience. First of all the hotel is on a very good location. 5 minutes walk to the Wall (城墙 - 文昌门）and 书院门步行街 for shopping. Second, the breakfast is very good - that’s what I was looking for as I travel with two young kids. The breakfast has a lot of choice and also special food of Xi’an (肉夹馍，凉皮 and so on) My kids love the food so much. Third, the service is very warm and friendly and a special thanks to 秋，丹,梦，丽and I forgot couple of their names). They are very responsible and take action very quickly on all my requests. BTW, they will help the customer for laundry everyday, and serve sweet soup at night. One free cocktail and one free coffee while you stay. 还有伴手礼while we check out. 😊👍 I would definitely want to stay here again next time.
