This hotel is conveniently located just two steps away from the ZhongLou metro station exit 6. It’s an excellent choice for travelers with heavy luggage, as you won’t have to walk far to board the train to the airport. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by numerous tourist attractions, all within walking distance. The staff at the counter is also very helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. They even offer afternoon tea at their restaurant for hotel guests.

Facilities: This B&B is a real gem, and it's popular with foreign guests 🌙. Cleanliness: Super clean! Every nook and cranny was spotless 😊. Ambiance: I absolutely loved the vibe, my only minor gripe is that the room was a bit on the small side 🤫. Service: The service was fantastic across the board—from the front desk staff to the cleaning crew and even the gentleman serving breakfast, everyone was great 👍. Location: The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and the city square 🤩. The hotel also offered complimentary coffee ☕️ and wine 🍷. Even though I couldn't enjoy them because I was with my child 🥹, I really appreciated the overall atmosphere. In a city as historic as Xi'an, there are so many hotels, but it's nice to experience a B&B for a different kind of stay 😊👍.

If you looking for a place to stay at East Gate, this is the place for you. It right smack in front of East Gate of Xi'an Wall and exactly in front of the metro station. The hotel itself is only 2 storey at 4th and 5th floor with the receptionist, dining room, washing machine and gym on the 4th floor. It's actually very big as I think it occupied almost whole 4th and 5th storey building. The bulding itself share with other commercial tenant. The room I got is on the 5th floor far away form the lift so it kind of bit hassle to walk down let say to wash your clothes. The breakfast is exceptional. Not big variety type but enough to fill your stomach in the morning. I got myself room with a verandah with Xi'an Wall. Just a bit put off that the parapet wall/railing is kinda high up to your chest fully opaque so in case you want to see the view you need to stand up rather than sitting down. I will be better a glass type of parapet wall/railing so you can bask in the view. My opinion if you want to get a room maybe 4th floor is good enough with facing the city wall. I don't think got anything different than 5fh wall only they have verandah.

Choosing this hotel for our Xi'an trip was definitely the right decision! Yunhe Yebo Bell and Drum Tower South Store is in an absolutely prime downtown location. We were just a few minutes' walk from enjoying the stunning night view of the Bell and Drum Tower, and there are tons of authentic Xi'an snacks right around the corner, making breakfast super convenient. The metro station is also very close, so getting to the North Station, airport, or Terracotta Warriors was a breeze. The room itself was clean and odorless, with plenty of space. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – we had a wonderfully quiet night's sleep despite being in the heart of the city. The bathroom was spotless with a great wet/dry separation, and we had stable hot water and fast Wi-Fi. Strawberry and Taiyang (Sun) at the front desk were incredibly warm and patient. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and they proactively shared local travel routes and tips to avoid tourist traps, which was a really thoughtful touch. All the facilities were well-maintained, and the price was fantastic, offering excellent value for money. Our family had a comfortable and worry-free stay. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xi'an!

Forgot to take photos on the first day... The room was very spacious and comfortable for a family of four. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent; it's only about 50-60 meters from the Bell Tower subway station, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions by metro. The best part was the hotel lobby had many small attraction cards, each for a different site, with detailed subway travel instructions on the back. Every time we went out, we'd grab the relevant card, and my kids loved leading the way, following the directions on the cards. It gave them a real sense of accomplishment!

I checked in early in the afternoon, and the moment I opened the door, I just wanted to take pictures. Wow. The sunlight streaming through the curtains was so warm and inviting. Combined with how clean and tidy the room was, my first thought was, 'I definitely made the right choice.' The facilities and equipment were quite new, but most importantly, everything was spotless. On the table was a copy of 'Ordinary World,' which I'd love to own. The front desk even offered to mail me a new set. After soaking up some sun and resting for a bit, I went down to the front desk to ask for travel tips. Following their advice, I visited one spot after another without having to backtrack. Both the sightseeing and the food were great. It was a really enjoyable trip.

Our room was spotless and well-arranged, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was also good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete, with a stable hot water supply, and the toiletries were of good quality. The public areas were tidy and grand, and the attention to cleanliness was impressive, especially the small details. A special shout-out to the handwritten card in the family room for guests with children – it was a really heartwarming touch. The housekeeping staff even noticed we drank a lot of water and proactively left two extra bottles in our room with another handwritten note. These small details show how genuinely dedicated the staff are to their guests. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and is perfect for both leisure travel and business stays. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

Service was above and beyond. They walked us through the hotel explaining the areas, served us welcome (non-alcoholic) drinks, were very helpful when we needed them. The included hanfu-style photoshoot was even better than we expected, with the photographer being very professional, and knowing how to position us and everything. Overall I would definitely pick this hotel again next time we visit China and we go to Xi'an.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations, a genuinely great experience. The front desk staff were efficient and had a pleasant, welcoming attitude. The room was spotlessly clean with no strange odors, and the bed was just the right firmness – I slept soundly all night. Hot water was readily available, and all the facilities seemed quite new. Its location is also very convenient for getting around, being close to both the City Wall and the Bell Tower. For this price, the conditions offered are excellent value for money. It was a comfortable and worry-free stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, truly recommend it to everyone.
