The hotel is conveniently located close to the station, which also has a Coop supermarket. However, the uphill walk to the hotel can be a bit challenging. The Cathedral is less than a 10-minute walk away, and from a nearby subway station, you can easily reach the southern port. The Olympic Museum is also just a stone's throw away. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. We really appreciate her service.
The hotel is clean and tidy! The rooms are smaller, there is free parking, there is free coffee in the lobby, the service attitude is quite good recently!
I like his quiet scenery and good traffic, but it takes a slope to get off the train station. Don’t bring a big box up the mountain. Self-driving does not have this trouble. Walking downhill to Le deck is very close. There is coop along the way. Anyway, the price is OK. If the weather is good, the Lavo grape The beauty of the park is unforgettable. Don't push the big suitcase uphill. Although it takes ten minutes, but if you don't practice normally, it will be enough.
The hotel staff suddenly opened the door twice without asking!!! This is extremely impolite, and the check-out staff claimed it wasn’t their responsibility. They said they don’t know who has checked out or not, so they just opened the door to check. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a ridiculous solution. Is this really a four-star hotel?
The hotel is right next to the Christmas market, and I got to see the airborne Santa Claus I'd been dreaming of! It was so lively downstairs and not too far from the train station. However, if distance is a big concern for you, there's another hotel right across the street, something like 'Ao...'. But I'd definitely stay here again next time. They refilled the free minibar daily, and the hotel also has a complimentary hot tub and sauna for guests.
The location is perfect and the hotel staff is just plain WOW!
Almost everything about the hotel is perfect.
You can say that the rooms are a bit dated and there's some issues with the shower and one of the sinks but those things were fixed in a few minutes from a call to the desk.
I know there's not much parking at the hotel but we got by transport to the hotel, which was great.
The view was amazing.
Thank you to the hotel staff for making our stay pleasant, relaxing and amazing.
This was my favorite hotel throughout my trip in Switzerland. The bellhop was always very enthusiastic about helping us with our luggage. We booked a lake view room, which offered views of Lake Geneva. The hotel is also conveniently located diagonally across from the train station, and there are a few decent Chinese restaurants nearby.
The hotel is located in a very convenient location, near both the metro and train station. The staff at the front desk and breakfast buffet were also very pleasant and friendly. Although there were a few hiccups with regards to the rooms conditions, when mentioned, the service recovery by front office staff Michelle was very fast and satisfactory! Thank you for making the stay more pleasant and enjoyable.
A travel guide book was also provided during check in that's shows the must sees and dos in Lausanne.
This hotel has a fantastic location, within walking distance of the train station. The uphill walk to the hotel almost killed me, but the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. High floors offer a view of the lake. It's a great value. The subway is right next to the train station, and the lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Love it!

CCrzy_minionsThe hotel was a 3-5 minutes walk from the metro station, which is a 15 mins transfer ride from Lausanne's main train station. The location is very nice, with the Geneva Lake right across the road. An easy, straight line walk to the Olympic Park and museum. Coop downstairs for simple groceries. The breakfast was super good, quality food and cooking. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious choices, service was very nice too. The breakfast here was my favourite along the way. Watching the sunrise by window seats was a bonus. The street was very quiet, overall a tranquil feeling during my stay. A number of restaurants within 5 minutes walk as well. The room was nice, they offered a personal care kit which was very helpful. You also get a free chocolate 😌
MManfrederikI travelled with my parents to Nyon at the end of August. We stayed in Ambassador Boutique Hotel. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff and stayed in the spectacular Castle suite on the top floor. The suite is very spacious for 3 people. The view from the room is stunning, with Nyon castle & old town in the forefront and Geneva lake & Alps in the background. If you are lucky, you could even see Mt Blanc and sunrise from the balcony is very nice. The hotel is very well located, 5 minutes from train station and in the old town surrounded by good restaurants. I highly recommend staying in Nyon, when you plan to visit Geneva lake, and definitely stay in Ambassador. I will definitely be coming back.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located next to the EPFL and not far from Lake Geneva, just across a residential street. The hotel is well-equipped and clean. The front desk service was very attentive. I was grateful to the front desk lady who helped me change my room upon check-in. The rest of the staff, both in the restaurant and at the housekeeping department, were also very friendly. The hotel restaurant had a delicious dinner, and the breakfast was acceptable. The hotel also provides free public transport tickets.
MMuniz PedroLovely hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Leman. It was the best value-for-money of the three hotels I stayed at this time, near Geneva. My business trip ended, and I was able to stay far from Geneva city's center. Nice room, spacious and clean. They provide courtesy disposable sleepers. The shower box without a door, so no messy wet bathroom! The shower water temperature was oscillating between too cold and too hot, so showering was not that pleasant. Still, it was ok. The breakfast buffet was perfect with a good selection of bread, drinks, fruits, and hot dishes. It's not a chain/brand hotel, so overall, fantastic hospitality.

GGuest UserThe hotel is at the thermal center. It is thus far away of every big city especially by public transport as I have to take the infrequent bus. Room I was disappointed for an expensive hotel it was very small. There is no more place in the fridge because of all what they want to sell to drink or eat. The thermal center is good, the food is good and the hotel interior is beautiful. Overall it is overpriced even at the lowest price I think it wasn't worth it and I am a big fan of thermal station. The price fluctuate a lot try to get it on the cheap.
