5-Star Hotels in Jilin, China

Stayed for 3 nights with my elderly parents and child. The suite was a two-bedroom with a living room, and although you could tell it was a bit older, it was still very comfortable overall. There were so many benefits included that we didn't even get to use them all. The duty manager, Jia Hongling, contacted us several days in advance, added us on WeChat, and learned about our itinerary. She gave us timely advice and was very responsive to all our questions, even promptly providing extra water. She truly went above and beyond. We were a little disappointed we couldn't see Tianchi Lake due to the weather this time, but we'll save that for our next visit.

The environment is fantastic, very clean, and well-equipped. The hot spring experience was also incredibly relaxing. Breakfast offered a great variety, but what truly stood out was the service. Right after check-in, a butler was assigned to us, ready to answer any questions and provide helpful reminders. There was even a dedicated shuttle service for the hot springs. Any issues we encountered were promptly resolved by the staff – their service-mindedness was truly impressive! The hotel's exclusive access to Changbai Mountain was very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I'll definitely be back!

Stayed with my family during Chinese New Year. We booked a club suite and a club king room. The rooms were a bit dated but generally well-maintained. The club rooms come with executive lounge access. The light meals are served in the lobby on the first floor, and while the selection wasn't huge, it was convenient. We had a butler who added us on WeChat, recommended some local attractions and activities, and helped arrange transportation, showing good service. If you're bringing kids for skiing in winter, definitely book a coach in advance via the mini-program.

The hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

Beyond five-star! I was traveling with my child and mother, and we ultimately chose this place. What a delightful surprise! The environment is fantastic, and my child had a wonderful time. Manager Coco especially deserves 200 points for this trip. She was incredibly enthusiastic and helped coordinate everything. Manager Coco was warm, patient, and provided thoughtful arrangements throughout our stay. Her travel tips and suggestions were super practical, and she responded instantly to any questions. She's both gentle and professional. The hotel environment is comfortable, the scenery is beautiful, and the stay experience was excellent. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely look for Manager Coco on my next visit!

Choosing to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun, was one of the smartest decisions I made during my Chinese New Year trip to Changchun. My experience showed that it offers excellent value for money, in terms of both its facilities and service. **Location: The Absolute Center of the City** The hotel's location is truly prime, right next to People's Square. It's incredibly convenient for taxis or ride-sharing services. Downstairs, you'll find the Zhuozhan Shopping Center and Wanda Plaza, so shopping, dining, and catching a movie are all just steps away. What was even more delightful was discovering that just across the street is the former site of the Bank of China's Changchun headquarters from before liberation. For history buffs and photography enthusiasts, you can easily snap some fantastic photos when passing by in the morning or evening. **Room Experience: Spotless and Cozy** Staying during Chinese New Year, the room was decorated with a lovely festive atmosphere. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and they even offered a choice of pillows, which meant even someone like me, who struggles with sleeping in new beds, had a great night's sleep. Shangri-La's renowned 'hospitality' was fully evident here. From the concierge proactively helping with luggage and guiding me to the front desk, to the warm towels and tea offered by the front desk staff during check-in, every detail exuded warmth. I asked a lobby staff member about local dining recommendations, and she not only described the dining environment and approximate distance in detail but also thoughtfully reminded us of the convenience of getting around: a central hub for exploring attractions. Using the hotel as our base, our itinerary for the past few days was incredibly smooth: a taxi ride to Nanhu Park, Changchun Zoological and Botanical Garden, Ice and Snow World, and Ocean Fantasy Park were all within a reasonable distance. After a day of exploring, returning to the hotel meant easy access to the bustling commercial area downstairs for food and shopping. If you're planning a trip to Changchun, especially in winter when you want both comfort and convenience, the Shangri-La Changchun is an choice you won't regret. It's more than just a place to sleep; it's the perfect base to truly experience the charm of this city. Clean, welcoming, and well-located – I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Changchun.

The room has a very traditional Chinese style, and the service is exceptionally thoughtful. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and the soundproofing is superb, allowing me to enjoy the tranquility my vacation deserved. They even sent an ice bucket to the room in the evenings, perfect for a nightcap after a day of exploring. The hotel added me on WeChat beforehand, and the butler was able to provide timely and very attentive service. The parking is free, and there's a direct elevator to the hotel, so the amenities are quite good. The hotel's restaurant is fantastic. I usually struggle with new cuisines, but the food here was excellent and perfectly suited my taste. It offered local specialties while also being palatable for someone from the south. The breakfast, especially, was outstanding, and the wontons were delicious. Finally, a special thanks to the duty manager, Joy. She was incredibly patient with every guest, providing a lot of help during my two-night stay and answering many of my questions about exploring the resort. When our car tire went flat after checking out, Joy even recommended a nearby repair shop that was very fair and reasonably priced. The service at Park Hyatt truly demonstrated the professionalism expected of hotel staff; their dedication didn't waver even after we checked out. They genuinely care about ensuring every aspect of your trip is safe and smooth.

This was my first time vacationing in Changbai Mountain, and I'm so glad I chose the right hotel. The help from several of the butlers made our trip to Changbai Mountain much more convenient and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Changbai Mountain. The itinerary for the Erdaobaihe small town, arranged by the travel butler, was also very interesting. With pick-up and drop-off services for every part of the trip, neither the elderly nor the children felt too tired, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the fun of the journey. The hotel's hot spring was also fantastic! 👍🏻 The service was excellent and greatly helped alleviate travel fatigue. The little fish in the fish therapy pool were also great companions for de-stressing during the trip. Both breakfast and dinner were quite delicious, with a wide selection for breakfast. I genuinely recommend staying here to create even more wonderful memories for your Changbai Mountain trip! Wanda Jin Hua truly lives up to its reputation as a veteran resort. Their service was incredibly impressive. Two days before our arrival, our dedicated 1:1 travel assistant, Gjnnn from the executive lounge, reached out to us via WeChat. They sent us detailed information about our benefits and a map of the resort town, making our trip completely stress-free. We stayed at three different hotels during our Changbai Mountain trip, and Wanda's service was by far the most enthusiastic and responsive. After check-in, they checked in with us daily. Our child was over the age limit for complimentary breakfast, and we had an early train the next morning, so the assistant arranged for us to have breakfast at the executive lounge. It was not crowded, the food selection was excellent, and there was even a chef hand-pulling noodles on the spot – a delightful surprise! The hotel's overall cleanliness and dining options were excellent. Room service was also very prompt. The resort town itself isn't very large, so there's no issue with location no matter where you stay. Next time I visit, I'll definitely choose a hotel with great service, and Wanda Jin Hua is a no-brainer.

Excellent stay in YanJi From start till check out - the staff were amazing and courteous Special mention to VIP Guest Manager whom goes all the way to ensure every guest is well taken care of. Her hospitality and professionalism truly elevates this 5 star hotel to be the best in YanJi. Breakfast is gracious especially in Local cuisine - please allocate enough time to enjoy the breakfast. It’s one of the best we’ve experienced in Jilin. We will definitely be back to revisit soon.
