5-Star Hotels in Jilin, China

This suite hotel is perfectly located within the resort, close to all the main attractions. My butler, Haha, was a delightful and attentive young lady. She was always quick to answer any questions and handled any issues with professionalism and speed. When a family member caught a cold after visiting Tianchi Lake and couldn't eat, she thoughtfully brought some plain congee. The room facilities are comprehensive and perfect for a family trip. The resort also offers a variety of activities, like firework displays and iron flower performances. There's so much to do here, truly suitable for all ages. We rented bicycles and enjoyed a leisurely ride through the mountains. I'd love to come back next summer!

I originally booked the Changbai Mountain LanJing Hotel, but due to facility maintenance, they thoughtfully upgraded me to the Crowne Plaza. The hot spring water here is excellent; my skin felt smooth and soft after a soak. The fish spa was wonderfully relaxing and atmospheric. My bullet train schedule changed last minute, which was a bit rushed, but the hotel butler service was incredibly warm and attentive. They kindly arranged my transfer to the station, ensuring a smooth journey, and I caught my midday bullet train to Yanji without a hitch. It made for a comfortable and stress-free trip.

Traveling during the Qingming Festival, the resort wasn't crowded, and neither was the hotel. The breakfast spread wasn't huge, but it offered a decent variety. The view outside the window was still beautiful; we even experienced snow, waking up to a pristine white landscape. When my child wasn't feeling well, even though the park didn't have medical facilities, the hotel kindly helped us by making ginger tea.

The hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

Beyond five-star! I was traveling with my child and mother, and we ultimately chose this place. What a delightful surprise! The environment is fantastic, and my child had a wonderful time. Manager Coco especially deserves 200 points for this trip. She was incredibly enthusiastic and helped coordinate everything. Manager Coco was warm, patient, and provided thoughtful arrangements throughout our stay. Her travel tips and suggestions were super practical, and she responded instantly to any questions. She's both gentle and professional. The hotel environment is comfortable, the scenery is beautiful, and the stay experience was excellent. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely look for Manager Coco on my next visit!

Choosing to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun, was one of the smartest decisions I made during my Chinese New Year trip to Changchun. My experience showed that it offers excellent value for money, in terms of both its facilities and service. **Location: The Absolute Center of the City** The hotel's location is truly prime, right next to People's Square. It's incredibly convenient for taxis or ride-sharing services. Downstairs, you'll find the Zhuozhan Shopping Center and Wanda Plaza, so shopping, dining, and catching a movie are all just steps away. What was even more delightful was discovering that just across the street is the former site of the Bank of China's Changchun headquarters from before liberation. For history buffs and photography enthusiasts, you can easily snap some fantastic photos when passing by in the morning or evening. **Room Experience: Spotless and Cozy** Staying during Chinese New Year, the room was decorated with a lovely festive atmosphere. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and they even offered a choice of pillows, which meant even someone like me, who struggles with sleeping in new beds, had a great night's sleep. Shangri-La's renowned 'hospitality' was fully evident here. From the concierge proactively helping with luggage and guiding me to the front desk, to the warm towels and tea offered by the front desk staff during check-in, every detail exuded warmth. I asked a lobby staff member about local dining recommendations, and she not only described the dining environment and approximate distance in detail but also thoughtfully reminded us of the convenience of getting around: a central hub for exploring attractions. Using the hotel as our base, our itinerary for the past few days was incredibly smooth: a taxi ride to Nanhu Park, Changchun Zoological and Botanical Garden, Ice and Snow World, and Ocean Fantasy Park were all within a reasonable distance. After a day of exploring, returning to the hotel meant easy access to the bustling commercial area downstairs for food and shopping. If you're planning a trip to Changchun, especially in winter when you want both comfort and convenience, the Shangri-La Changchun is an choice you won't regret. It's more than just a place to sleep; it's the perfect base to truly experience the charm of this city. Clean, welcoming, and well-located – I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Changchun.

An excellent stay experience. The environment is tranquil and secluded, a perfect escape for a holiday. From post-booking follow-ups, airport transfers, room cleanliness, bedding, toiletries, and turn-down service, everything reflects Park Hyatt's high quality and personalized service. The hotel staff are wonderful, especially Joy and Eric, who were meticulous, thoughtful, and highly professional. The breakfast offers a rich variety, with both buffet and à la carte options. The noodles and pastries were particularly delicious. Afternoon tea and dinner each have their unique charms, catering to diverse guest preferences. The hotel package includes benefits provided by Wanda Resort, making it ideal for families. Looking forward to returning during ski season.

The hotel environment is lovely, and they even have small animals that kids can feed up close. The hot springs are fantastic, and they claim to be the only true volcanic geothermal springs around. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor options, and the fish spa was a really nice experience. If you stay for three consecutive nights, you get some extra perks, and there are shuttle buses available for everything. If you plan your time well, you can finish your activities and head back easily. The hotel is super close to the Old Mountain Gate entrance of the Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, just a 300-meter walk. After visiting the attractions, the hotel's shuttle bus picks you up, which is very convenient. Our butler was incredibly helpful and responsible, always ready to solve any issues and even brought us a big fruit platter. We were very satisfied.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable. They offered a lot of perks, and the hotel even had fun activities like water bikes and those popular transparent boats. I had wanted to switch to a king-size bed, but they didn't have any available, so they helped me combine the twin beds instead. The mini-bar had some nice complimentary drinks, and they replenished the four bottles of water daily. Since I was traveling with a friend, their butler upgraded them to an executive breakfast. We contacted our butler, Gjnnn, and they also upgraded our breakfast for free. Overall, the service was excellent, highly recommend!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across the river from the famous Floating Market and adjacent to People's Park. The lobby is grand, and you need to swipe your room card to access the guest floors. The breakfast restaurant on the 24th floor offers a wide variety of options, with fresh sushi and omelets made to order. They even have original and red date/longan flavored soy milk. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the cityscape of Yanji feels fantastic! 👍 The hotel owner is Korean, so there are many Korean tour groups – about six large groups during my stay. The room amenities are well thought out: the curtains automatically close when you leave and the power turns off, which helps maintain the room temperature. The toilet only flushes *after* you stand up. Why do I specifically mention this? Because on my road trips along the 331 highway in Northeast China last year and this year, some hotels had toilets that flushed when you sat down and again when you stood up, which felt unhygienic and wasteful. This hotel's equipment is properly adjusted from the start. The faucets are also extended; if you've done renovations, you'd know these extended spouts are specially chosen. The benefit is that when washing hands or clothes, the spout is centered in the sink, so you don't have to bend over awkwardly. The mattress is also comfortable; I didn't check the brand, but a mattress that feels this good would cost around 10,000 RMB for home use. The tatami mat is particularly noteworthy – perfectly fine for one person to sleep on. The entire room is simply and comfortably decorated. My two-day stay was pleasant and relaxing. When I checked out, the hotel manager even gave me a small gift. If the hotel wants to improve further, I think the quality of your bath products could be upgraded. The black packaging looks a bit low-end, and I preferred to use my own products because yours weren't appealing. Exiting the hotel, turn left and walk uphill for about 5 minutes, and you'll reach the North Gate of People's Park. The hotel's first-floor restaurant, Ban Dao Xue Niu (Peninsula Snow Beef), is worth trying, and you get a 10% discount with your room card.
