Whenever I visit Gu'an, I always choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the surrounding area is fantastic with plenty of dining and shopping options. Central Park is just across the street, perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner – it's incredibly relaxing. The only downside this time of year is the abundance of poplar catkins, which can be quite annoying.

TangyuxiaonazhaThe service here was a bit of a letdown. While the facilities were actually better than the InterContinental I stayed at a couple of days ago, the service didn't quite measure up. I booked connecting rooms with king beds, just like before, but when I called ahead, they made all sorts of excuses about not being able to arrange adjoining rooms. The staff's communication skills definitely need improvement. Then, at check-in, they started talking about whether our room was facing the street or not, even though our suite clearly was. High-floor rooms facing the street are bound to be noisy at night, so I'm not sure what the staff was getting at.
The biggest rip-off was the breakfast. For such an average buffet, they still charged extra for children, and rooms including breakfast were hundreds more – definitely not worth it. I strongly advise against booking a room with breakfast. I thought the InterContinental's breakfast was bad, but at least they had a wider selection of pastries. Here, the breakfast was barely on par with a budget hotel; it was so bad I almost wanted to complain. The score reflects the facilities, not the breakfast – what a scam!
On a positive note, I want to specifically commend the housekeeping department. The housekeeping staff were all incredibly dedicated and conscientious. We only stayed one night and left early the next morning, but the housekeeping attendant patiently kept asking if we needed anything. Thumbs up to them!

Guest User⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I'm not very good at planning trips, but this time, concierge Wendy helped me with the entire itinerary. I wasn't sure about the booking channels for various exhibition halls or their capacity limits, but she patiently walked me through the process. She also recommended great spots for sea views and photos, taking into account the best times to go and places with fewer crowds. Every day, she'd give us a heads-up about the temperature difference between morning and evening, which made us feel much more at ease when heading out. Any small issues with the room were quickly addressed after feedback. She was genuinely kind, never pushed any paid services, and simply focused on providing excellent service. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The Foothills Hotel offered an amazing experience! Ski-in/ski-out access was incredibly convenient, and our room had direct, stunning views of the ski slopes. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. They have everything you could want for recreation and entertainment, including a cinema, billiards, bathhouse, a small convenience store, KTV, and a bar. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby like McDonald's, Starbucks, and a cigar bar, so you're covered for food and fun. What really stood out was the staff's warm and attentive service; their thoughtful attitude made the overall value for money and comfort top-notch. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay!

Service: I booked two rooms, and the front desk staff did their best to arrange for them to be close together. They even upgraded one to a room with a balcony, which was excellent service!
Facilities: The package I booked included complimentary carousel and pirate ship experiences for kids, which is perfect for families traveling with children. The swimming pool was also great.
Environment: The hotel's location is unbeatable, with stunning ocean views directly in front. Plus, there are plenty of dining options and convenience stores not far from the hotel.

Anonymous UserThe hotel environment is lovely, with an innovative design concept. From the king-size bed, opening the curtains reveals a truly healing view. The room is spacious and well laid out. It would be even better if the floors were wiped without leaving water marks, the room had a fresher scent (there was a slightly fishy smell after mopping), and the toiletries were a bit more refined. Breakfast is served next door at Luyu Restaurant, and the management there could use some improvement. When we went at 9:30 AM, there was no one to seat us, so we had to find a table ourselves, and no one was clearing tables promptly. The food selection is adequate for its price point, but the display fridge for bread and pastries had noticeable hygiene issues, both externally and internally. Overall, this hotel has clear pros and cons, but the timely butler service, excellent views, top-notch design, and clean, friendly animals make it worth trying.

Guest UserThis hotel was the perfect choice for a short, two-day, one-night getaway to escape the summer heat. It's conveniently located close to the highway and tourist attractions, making travel hassle-free. The hotel itself offers beautiful scenery and plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. The mountain air is wonderfully cool; after dinner, we enjoyed a refreshing stroll through the woods, without needing to rush out to see specific sights. Marli Jiao was consistently available and incredibly responsive to all our needs. The room was clean, the bedding comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. In just two short days, we felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Definitely my top pick for a quick escape.

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot but still super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop. As soon as I walked in, a staff member warmly offered to help with my luggage. Check-in was a breeze; I didn't have to wait at all. The room gets amazing natural light, the bedding is incredibly soft, and everything was spotless. The bathroom's wet and dry areas are well-separated, which is a nice touch, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. Breakfast had a great variety and tasted delicious too.

LeozailvtuAn excellent hotel! The location is great, right next to Wanda Plaza and across from a park and golf course. The rooms definitely don't feel like they're almost ten years old; they're incredibly well-maintained. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the attention to detail is impressive. The service was very thoughtful; our housekeeper, Yuki, contacted us in advance to discuss our needs. Upon arrival, all our requests had been fulfilled, which was very efficient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shijiazhuang.

Guest UserFood: The breakfast selection is extensive. During peak season, there's a queue to get into the restaurant, but it's well-managed and not chaotic, with food replenished promptly. The buffet dinner offers average value for money.
Accommodation: Check-in was incredibly slow; it took 20 minutes per person. Even with four counters open, each line was very long. In the room, each person gets one bath towel and one small face towel, but no hand towels or bathrobes, and no bath mat. The shower door doesn't close properly, so there's water all over the floor after showering. The 50L electric water heater means the water runs cold after one person with long hair showers, so for multiple people, you need to wait at least half an hour between showers. The balcony screen door either doesn't close securely or, if it does, it gets stuck and won't open. We had to call maintenance twice to pry it open. The hardware facilities are far from 5-star standard.
Transportation: There are many cars within the park, and parking spots are only available quite far from the main building. There's only one vehicle entrance/exit, and each time you enter the park, you queue for at least 10-20 minutes. More entrances/exits should be opened.
Activities: The large lawn is excellent, and there are many flowers. The beach sand is fine and clean. The outdoor pool is also very good. The overall exterior environment is pleasant. I recommend the Yutian Qilihai scenic area; it's like a mini Chimelong and was more fun than expected.
Complaints: On the accommodation floors, there are 5-6 small supermarkets and restaurants interspersed among the guest rooms. From my room, I could hear the women sitting outside the supermarkets chatting loudly with each other until 9 or 10 PM when they closed. I've stayed in all kinds of hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered supermarkets and restaurants located right amidst the guest rooms. There's a significant price difference for rooms booked through different channels. The people ahead of me in line booked via TikTok and got a much cheaper price, plus free entertainment activities. I felt a bit ripped off.
