The room itself was pretty good – quite new and spacious. A few minor downsides: the toilet didn't have a bidet function, the body lotion wasn't replenished promptly, and the view from the room, being in the old part of the city, was definitely nothing to write home about. On the plus side, it's located right above Hongtong Mall, which is huge and has everything you could possibly want for food, super convenient! You can also walk to several pedestrian streets, including Jiaxiu Tower, which is a bit of a trek but totally manageable. Overall: for the price, I'd definitely stay here again!

I stayed for three nights, and the location on the observation deck offered a spectacular view. The room facilities were excellent, and the bedding was comfortable. What truly impressed me was the guesthouse's exceptional service. The lobby provided complimentary coffee, tea, desserts, and even a Miao ethnic clothing experience. In the room, we had free fruit and drinks, and laundry service was also available – every detail was well thought out. Just a heads-up: navigating the Miao Village involves a lot of uphill and downhill stairs, so I recommend packing light. Although the hotel butler helped with luggage from the ticket office, the journey from there to the sightseeing bus, then to the observation deck, and finally to the guesthouse still involves quite a bit of walking and climbing stairs, which can be a bit tiring. Nevertheless, this hotel is highly recommended.

The location is excellent, in the heart of the city; there are plenty of parking spaces, so driving is worry-free; the breakfast has a rich variety; I was worried that the equipment and facilities would be old, but the actual experience shows that the hotel has spent some effort on maintenance, and it is clean and comfortable; finally, let me talk about the service. The day of check-in happened to be a family member's birthday, and the young lady who checked me in was very attentive, and immediately sent blessings and small surprises. The glasses brother in the hotel's Chinese restaurant also gave me a very warm reception, which left a brilliant impression and memory for me and my family.

Coming to this Dong village for Chinese New Year, I didn't even consider other places and chose this one without hesitation. It really didn't disappoint; it was absolutely stunning. Every evening there was a performance of the Dong Grand Song. Since we checked in on New Year's Eve, the hotel even arranged a New Year's Eve dinner and had handmade dumplings. For someone from the North, the dumplings might not be the absolute best, but being able to eat handmade dumplings in a southern village on New Year's Eve really showed the owner's thoughtful attention to detail.

(1) The bedding was great, very comfortable to lie on; (2) The shower facilities were clearly marked, unlike some where you have to guess forever; (3) Luckily the window could open, otherwise I would've been roasted alive – I hate completely sealed windows; (4) The bathtub with disposable liners was very convenient, a good soak after a long walk was much needed; (5) They had my mother's favorite sewing kit! And a red pen (for kids to correct homework), this is truly state-run and very important. I heard family members asking for an iron too; (6) The food delivery robot came right to the door, so convenient. What deterred me from choosing another hotel was having to go downstairs to pick up deliveries there… (7) Overall service attitude was okay, especially the doorman who was very good, proactively opening doors and helping with luggage. 2. (1) Upon check-in, I noticed other guests drawing lots, but didn't pay attention as I didn't know what it was. Later, passing by the front desk, I saw someone else drawing lots, so I asked and found out that staying at the hotel gives you a chance to win a prize (because I saw others win before and thought the winning rate was 100%, but it turns out I'm completely immune to winning); (2) It was quite a surprise that the price during the holiday was actually lower than what you'd find at a Hyatt or Marriott. Other: Stayed here to see the monkeys, it's close to the East Gate, but you still need a taxi to get to the South Gate.

Just got back from visiting Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, and I honestly think it was worth every penny! The scenery throughout was truly pristine; the water was crystal clear, and there were waterfalls everywhere you looked – every photo turned out amazing. The hotel's shuttle service was super convenient, and they even have a fast pass lane. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was absolutely top-notch. Bonnie was incredibly warm and attentive; she even remembered we'd forgotten our afternoon tea and had it delivered to us by the driver, which was so thoughtful! This hotel was a complete hit, no regrets whatsoever. The air is fresh, the views are stunning, and we had such a wonderfully relaxing time. Highly recommend! I'll definitely stay at Steigenberger again next time I visit Xiaoqikong, it was fantastic! A big thank you to all the staff, who were as caring and attentive as family. 😊

Excellent! The room environment and service were top-notch. I especially want to highlight the breakfast—the spicy chicken noodles were delicious, and the omelet chef was very professional, making perfect omelets and sunny-side-up eggs. The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of Jiaxiu Tower, Qianming Ancient Temple, the National Museum, and Minsheng Road.

The overall service was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. I particularly want to commend Rabby from Guest Relations. Before my arrival, she proactively called to discuss my preferences and even reserved a dedicated parking spot, which was a huge convenience when traveling with a child. She also kindly informed me about the option for a late check-out, making my itinerary much more relaxed. Upon check-out, Lisa was very attentive and thoughtfully prepared a lovely souvenir, which added a wonderful touch to the experience. The hotel's evening happy hour was excellent, practically an upgrade to a full dinner buffet, significantly enhancing the dining experience. The service throughout was gentle and attentive. My stay was thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right next to the ancient city and the food street, so it was super convenient for both sightseeing and trying out local delicacies. The room was also cleaned very thoroughly, and the bedding was soft and breathable, making for a really comfortable stay. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional; they even proactively helped us plan a time-saving and efficient itinerary and gave us a local guide map. My only minor regret is that the room didn't have an opening window, which made it feel a bit stuffy. However, the lake view was truly stunning!
