GGuest UserLocation is conveniently near to tuas, minutes to Legoland. Quiet, comfortable, and deliberately tucked away from the crowded city center. If the goal is to get away and truly relax in a spacious environment with beautiful waterfront backdrops, this suite delivers perfectly. Highly recommended for a proper reset.

Cchin heongHad a wonderful stay at this homestay! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, with very clear instructions provided before arrival. The customer service team was friendly, responsive, which made the entire experience even more pleasant.
The unit itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the space felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we stepped in. The bed was comfortable, and the overall environment was good, perfect for a short getaway.
One of the biggest advantages of this location is its convenience. There are plenty of food and beverage options within walking distance, making it easy to find local food, cafes, and late-night supper spots. KSL Shopping Mall is also nearby, which is great for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Overall, this homestay offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and strategically located place to stay.

TTentenAmaiodinThe unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook.
The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm.
Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.

GGuest UserOverall experience: 7/10, value for money : 6/10. Room was spacious with a clean and neat bathroom with good amenities. Noticed that they did not provide sanitary bags. Aircon temperature could be adjusted. Complementary bottled water are available and can request for more if needed. Hotel is just above the new mall, mall is not as big as Midvalley Southkey mall but have various restaurants, hair and nail salons, a supermarket at the basement, some clothing and sport shops. Hotel shuttle is only available for one way from hotel to JB sentral CIQ at certain timing only. We have to take grab to other malls and to the train checkpoint as the timing was off.
The room came with breakfast but on Trip.com it stated no breakfast. Breakfast quality was okay with a bit of dim sum, oily fried kway tiao or noodles, samsosa, fried chicken, nasi lemak, noodle soup and plain porridge and some selections of eggs and pastries. The freshly baked croissants are light and fluffy. I will not pay for the breakfast but will have it since its included. Good enough to fill you up but had better breakfast in other hotels. Staffs are generally friendly and helpful, but restaurant staffs could be more attentive especially in clearing plates.
Checked in with both my teenage kids and asked for an additional bed. Paid ard RM 330 for 1 more pax (16 yrs old kid) for 2 nights. The mattress for the extra bed was thin and the bed was very hard, my son couldn't sleep well on it. The mattresses on the Twin bed were not very comfortable too, expected them to be more fluffy and comfy or firm but they were not. Pillows were too flat. I asked the receptionist if they have a pillow menu, said she would check but didn't get back. In the end, we found out on the last night that they have memory foam pillows when I asked for an additional pillow and they were out of the normal ones. Hotel should place the pillow menu on the TV screen to make it easier for guests.
Although it's a new hotel, I was given a room with a defective toilet door lock and the screw of one of the cabinet door fell off when we opened it and part of the cabinet door was unhinged. It was resolved after we informed the front desk and came back in the evening. Room for improvement in better quality mattresses especially the extra bed mattress, pillows, cleanliness and maintenance of the room as well as shuttle services and quality of service staffs.

UUmmu Hani Mohd YusupOverall, I had a pleasant stay at KSL Hotel & Resort. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The location is excellent as it’s directly connected to KSL City Mall, making shopping and finding food very convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite. The room could use a little updating in some areas, but it was still comfortable and worth the price. I would definitely consider staying here again for a short trip to Johor Bahru.

GGuest UserEven though it was almost fully booked over the weekend, the hotel offered a quiet getaway, as its premises is huge with a variety of amenities. Nature inspired decorations don the common areas. The room is spacious and clean, with a sizable balcony that overlooks the outdoor playground and the sea in the background. The local cuisine at the restaurant is tasty. Over the weekend, food carts were set up at the hotel lobby, selling local and western fares, providing alternative food options. The food that we tasted, pizza, satay and char koay teow, surpassed our expectations. The hotel may be short-handed at times so expect longer waiting time but the service staff tried their best to deliver their service, which is commendable.
