5-Star Hotels in Johor, Malaysia

This stay is 2D1N to celebrate my birthday. Excellent location, superb costumer service with polite and courteous staff. Clean and modern facilities in the room and throughout the hotel. Hotel Management even gave me a cake and staff wishing my Happy Birthday as a pleasant surprise!  Additionally, they also extended my check out time by an hour. Well done Sheraton Hotel JB. Breakfast selection was superb. Will definitely stay here again.

The room isn't huge, but it doesn't feel cramped either. The hygiene is excellent, and the customer service is warm and friendly. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The hotel is integrated with a shopping mall, which is super convenient for grabbing food, getting a massage, or a haircut. However, the massage within the hotel was a rip-off – the environment wasn't clean, and they cut corners on the service. It was supposed to be a 90-minute massage, but it ended in just 70 minutes.

I had a wonderful stay at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, with excellent facilities including a kitchenette and comfortable bed. The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location is convenient, especially for travelers using JB Sentral and the Singapore checkpoint. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, and the swimming pool and gym were well maintained. Overall, the hotel provided great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Johor Bahru. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

We booked twin room and they ran out of the room we booked. Provided us with complimentary extra bed and bf for my teen girl. Bf was tasty. Variety but hope they can bring back the live stations pre Covid!. Good coffee but teh tarik can be improved a little bland and diluted. the Malaysian selection well done. Western options can be improved. Feta cheese is good but the nuts options and salad can be added with more variety. Overall, service staff excellent. Respectful and welcoming to guests.

New residence, a lot better than KSL apartments. Altho abit smaller, it’s clean, well equipped and cosy/comfortable. Dining table could be bigger for meals, though we didn’t need it. Instructions were clear on the wall, and I liked the room slippers provided. Water pressure is good and warm. Lift wait can be long during peak period, but it’s better as there are 6 lifts and only serves half the number of floors unlike KSL which goes every floor. Lift is also more spacious.

The Amari Hotel in Johor Bahru is located in a very strategic and convenient area. Most major facilities and shopping complexes are within a 10‑minute walking distance, making it easy to access food, retail, and entertainment without needing transportation. Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel maintains good cleanliness standards. However, some moss can still be found on the windows, especially those facing the swimming pool. Despite this minor issue, the general cleanliness of the hotel is satisfactory. Internet Connection: The Wi‑Fi connection is not stable. It frequently disconnects, which can be inconvenient for guests who rely on a steady internet connection. Parking: Parking is not free. Guests are charged RM12 per day with multiple entry allowed. However, parking is complimentary if the booking is made directly with the hotel.

The room and all its amenities are brand new. It's super close to KSL, just a five-minute walk away. Downstairs, there's a 24-hour convenience store, a hair salon, massage parlors, and restaurants. Plus, right outside, there's a Dai Sei Hei Dim Sum restaurant, making breakfast incredibly convenient. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely be back myself.

Had a pretty good experience! Since it was a last-minute booking, they even upgraded us to a sea-view room for free 🤩 The door was a bit hard to open and close, and the bathroom sink was clogged 🥲 But overall, it felt very comfortable and was perfect for relaxing 👍👍

The hotel is not bad. The facilities, the room condition and view is fantastic. If you want to have private and quiet environment, you may consider this hotel. However, the location is a little too far to my liking. There is a Hard Rock cafe and a few bar nearby.
