Very close to the racing venue, there is a clinic nearby, if there is an urgent need, you can deal with it nearby, there are restaurants nearby, you are not afraid of hunger at night, the overall environment is good, will come again next time
Super cheap price compare to quality. Self service check-in only. App require Uppercase input only for your name if English language or you could not submit.
Located at the end of the mountain range north of No. 42 National Road connecting the Jishi Peninsula to the Ise/Nagoya area, the price has included breakfast, next to the Aeon supermarket, the best overnight spot for renting a car to and from Nagoya <> Jishi Peninsula
We stayed at Sanco Inn Kuwana for a night when we were in town to attend a wedding and found it to be a small but well-equipped hotel in a quiet, charming town. While the room and bathroom were quite compact—just enough space to open one suitcase—they thoughtfully included a small bathtub, though it may be a tight fit for taller guests when showering. It was adequate for us (a family of 2 adults 1 toddler)
The hotel impressed us with its attention to detail, offering various types of pillows and night robes in different sizes, even for children. Breakfast was a concise but well-curated selection. It’s best to come down early, as seating can be limited and there may be a queue for food. Conveniently, takeaway boxes were also available for those who prefer to eat on the go.
The location was great, with several convenience stores nearby and the train station just a few minutes’ walk away. A comfortable and practical stay for a short trip!
The inside of the hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. The breakfast was healthy and I was able to get refills of barley rice and pork soup.
Mainly there is really nothing to live in this neighborhood.
This 12 o'clock curfew, about 6 minutes walk from Kumano City Station, there is nothing to eat nearby, but there is a big supermarket next to it. The hotel has a 12 o'clock curfew, there is a self-service vending machine in the building to sell wine and instant noodles, but it is still cheap in the supermarket next door.
In the morning, you can go to the beach to watch the sunrise, which is very beautiful.
If you want to enjoy a luxurious meal and retro at Matsuzaka at a low price, here!
I made a reservation for marathon participation.
The day before, I was attracted to the store and stayed at Tsutaya Ryokan, but the interior was like a Heisei house and there was a foreign language display, and unlike what I expected, it was a pity without a retro feeling.
2 On the day, I was attracted to the review with naughty rice and stayed here. It was a hit!
The store is normal, but the interior is Meiji-Taisho retro!
The sink is tiles and the corridor is good!
The garden seems to be good, so the room I chose was the best in a room with a good view, the same as the photo on the site!!!
The courtyard is quite large, and the second floor is also a nice feeling of handrails and wooden. The bath is simple tiles, but a little retro and wide! You can swim lightly alone lol
The dressing room has a door, so I can't see it inside, but I can hear the sound, so it may be a little uncomfortable as it is in the review. However, there was a chest of drawers around the Edo period in the dressing room, and I enjoyed it with my eyes.
The rice is as gorgeous as the picture shows. ISE shrimp, meat! meat!
I regret eating lightly at Issho Bin. I had the meat turned the next morning. White rice is also delicious like a contract farmer!
An inn where you can get the original only by meal.
I'm just spending money on cooking.
The futon is rough. Let's close our eyes there.
I want you to buy a futon on untouchable TV. I wish I could buy a futon with a clafan, but then it will be a perfect inn, so I may not be able to make a reservation because the cost performance and reputation are just rising.
In the morning, I was surprised at the fluffy omelet like a luxury hotel in the morning. You can see that Mr. Itamae here is a high-level chef mixed with Japanese and Western styles.
Mr. Nakai was also a very nice person, and he was asked to call me to put on a futon after meals, but at that time it was a little far from the phone, but I was worried that it would be difficult for me to walk after the marathon. God correspondence that makes the phone move right next to it. It was a wonderful person. It's a professional in a professional.
The breakfast was also healed with a gentle conversation while busy.
i usually want to experience a lot of things in a lot of places.
I'm a person who doesn't repeat much of the same place, but this is a repeat next year. I made a reservation quite a while ago, but it was a big hit! Thank you very much for your help! !! !!
The interior is also wonderful, so I want you to maintain the condition. (The toilet was new) It is not strange to designate a cultural property in the corridor and washbasin. It is definitely an inn from the Meiji era. I want you to protect me!

KKennyMy stay at Shima Hantou in Shima City, Japan was a delightful experience. The location of the hotel is convenient, earning it a solid 4 out of 5 rating. Although it is a bit far from Ise City, it's easily accessible by car, with just a 1-hour journey.
The hotel's cleanliness also deserves a commendable 4 out of 5 rating. As a traditional Japanese hotel, the exterior has a charming appeal. While the interior design may not be the most modern, it is still well-maintained and clean.
One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist, earning a perfect 5 out of 5 rating for service.
In terms of facilities, the hotel offers a basic hot spring bath, which was a relaxing experience. However, it's worth noting that there is only one pool for bathing, and the absence of a cold water bath and sauna facilities somewhat limited the options. Therefore, I would rate the facilities as 4 out of 5.
Overall, I highly recommend Shima Hantou for a pleasant stay in Shima City. The location, cleanliness, and exceptional service make it a great choice for travelers seeking a traditional Japanese hotel experience.
11228mandyThe hotel is relatively new and has a parking lot for self-driving guests. There is also a railway nearby, the location is very good! There is self-service coffee available, and toiletries are also provided for passengers, which is quite satisfying!

GGuest UserStayed here for five days, it is too beautiful to say, the boss and the proprietress are super good, the scenery is charming. That is, breakfast is fixed for one person every day, all the same, there is no choice, if you live for a long time, you will be tired of breakfast.
I travel here every year and stay here next time.
FFrancisBeautiful location and amazing room with view (book a sea view room). Owner went out of his way to help and was quick to advise me of bad weather forecast and not to attempt mountain passes the next day. Really great breakfast and good public bath. Next door to a shrine with a 1,000 year old camphor tree. Only shame no dinner available and no restaurants close by so not ideal for walkers but if shop ahead then totally worth it. Again host is great.
GGuest UserVery nice and welcoming owner. Good way very good and hotel a 3 star ryokan with private onsen, which we used alone in the evening. Cafes and nice shrine very short by. Also don’t miss the museum and story of the pearl diver women in that village! If you look for a small village at the coast, it is very natural and less touristic there!
GGuest UserWe were met with such excellent hospitality with Rina and the New Hamaguchi-ya staff. They were thoughtful with their service, the meals provided were definitely prepared with love and great care. Despite the language barriers, we were treated very well and we would definitely come back and stay again!
