The location was nice, with it being only an 8 minutes walk into town centre. The kitchen was clean enough for us and so are the bathrooms. However, the wifi was not so great. We had to use our own mobile data, but if you're fine with that then it's a good place for a short stay, which was the case for us considering if you're planning to be out travelling for most of the day anyways. The staffs were all also very lovely and helpful.

The surroundings are beautiful! Transportation is incredibly convenient, with direct access via Airport Bus Route 1. It's right next to Queenstown's most bustling area, and there's a large supermarket nearby for groceries. Plus, there are two kitchens available for use. Excellent value for money. Perfect for solo travelers.

Located on a city street, with various shops nearby. The front desk is staffed from 2 PM onwards. It's a 3-minute walk to Lake Wanaka, and about a 25-minute leisurely stroll to the Lone Tree. Enjoying the natural scenery along the way in the early morning is very pleasant and comfortable. If you want to stargaze at night, even walking to the nearby lake, you'll still be affected by the brightness of the streetlights. It's next to a large supermarket and a 5-minute walk to the food truck park, making it convenient for finding food. There are fewer parking spaces than rooms, so if the lot is full upon arrival, you'll need to park in a nearby park, and be mindful of the paid parking hours. The room has a sofa, a full dining table and chairs, a bar, and a basic kitchenette. However, the pot had food residue, which made us question the overall cleanliness of the utensils and made us hesitant to use them. The fixed showerhead in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient, and the room's brightness was dimmer than shown in the photos.

It’s a vintage hotel, I’m surprised with the lift which is very old type of lift, the design very pretty and retro. Room is quite spacious for 4 adults. The heater is very powerful and strong. The hotel is located near to the town center and precinct street, just a few minutes of walk can reach.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this retreat. The place itself is absolutely spectacular — very calming, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking views. The deck is stunning, and it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The owners were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and looked after throughout my stay. Their hospitality genuinely stood out. The dogs were lovely and added so much warmth to the experience. Breakfast was excellent, and the variety of teas available was out of this world. As a female solo traveller, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well cared for, which is something I value highly. The atmosphere is peaceful and nurturing — exactly what you want from a retreat. The only minor downside is that it’s a bit far from the shops (around a one-hour walk). However, this was easily managed as Uber is only a 6-minute drive, and the hosts were also kind enough to offer lifts when possible. Overall, an absolutely stunning place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay

There are independent cabins, high privacy, spacious places, and easy to get to the lake. Facilities need to be improved, kitchen utensils are not provided in the kitchen, and hot water baths have to be paid for. In terms of service, sometimes customers are not taken into account, and the toilet is cleaned before the check out time, which is very inconvenient for customers in need.

Really nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.

Even though I arrived after check-in hours, I was able to self check-in, which was great. The hotel's right by the lake, so waking up to such a beautiful view every morning was amazing. Plus, there's a sauna, making the location absolutely perfect! The only downsides were the shower room, water pressure, and kitchen, which were a bit disappointing.

Good economical accommodation. Clean & comfortable. Friendly staff. Satisfied customer here. A small pack of tissues in the room would have been great. Thanks Law Courts
