Due to the hostel's mistake, I couldn't stay at Doritori, but the owner kindly arranged for me a private room at no additional cost.
I had a comfortable stay in a clean and comfortable room.
Good Guest, for its price, and everything is clean and tidy by Indian standards. The room is true without air conditioning, or rather you have to pay extra for it, there is a fan and it was enough, the hotel can be found on Google maps, otherwise there is no way, it is not scary to walk ***** small streets, no one bothers, they offer to buy something and that's it, but this is India. The distance to the Ganges is 5-7 minutes. Very convenient location
Everything was good, easy to access tourist spots. The only thing I want them to improve is to put more ammenities, brush was not there, shampoo and conditioner was not there. Overall it was good.
Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was courteous, rooms were clean, and the service was prompt. The location was convenient, and overall ambiance was peaceful. Would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and pleasant experience.
There was a mouse running around in the room!!! On the table! The sheet on one bed needed replacing (it was stained), and we asked for duvet covers for the bedspreads. They provided two sheets instead of duvet covers and asked for extra linens. In other hotels, the bedspreads were always covered by duvet covers. And the beds were very hard. We stayed for two days, and it was bearable. But the price is high for such conditions.
I recommend! I arrived in Agra deep at midnight, I was happy to meet the owner, everything told/shown. In the room was one. Hot water is, showers are spacious. Bedding is not new, but clean! Let the things stay in the hotel until the evening 👍
Clean, lingerie bedroom was clean too, which for India does not always exist in this category of hotels. No windows. Something downstairs in repair. Simple. Good staff. Location for me was the most appropriate.
This is above 4 star hotel. Do not book 4 star other hotel this is one of the best hotel i visited. We stay every where but this hotel impreas us a lot. Very good staff. Near shopping market. Very clean. Have shaving kit, dental kit comb wet etc... I did not see luke this hotel in india at this price. Heads off to owner and stafff who take care. We asked weighting scale and they provided to do weight foe luggage which no hotel keep in india. Do not this you can book this hotel blindly. We are NRI and outside india working in oman aince 17 years. Cleanliness 10 out od 10 points. Book wuper delux room if available.. Thankyou staff..
This is simply the best place I've stayed in India.
The incredibly hospitable hosts checked me in practically at night because my train was late, helped explain the hotel to a taxi driver when he got lost, and welcomed me like family.
The room was spotlessly clean (for the first time in several trips), small but very cozy, and newly renovated. Hot water was a breeze. Even when it ran out, it quickly reheated. The bed was comfortable, and the linens and towels were spotless.
Special thanks for the complimentary breakfast.
The location is perfect, a 15-minute walk to the Taj Mahal.
My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.
BBonus Tawan1. The room I got was a standard room on the ground floor without windows which, in fact, the hotel should inform about on the room's description.
2. After entering the room, the tables and most of the furniture were a bit dusty, and the air condition had problems which required three staff solving it.
3. The duvet did not have a cover, so it looked a bit worn out.
4. After using the bath, water dripping from the geyser lasted for a while.
5. After complaining about the room, the manager, Suryakant Pandey, and his staff, Gauraf, showed their responsibility and promised to upgradte my room on the next day.
6.However, the day shift didn't know about it and insisted me to stay at the same room until I claimed about the prior upgrade from the night shift manager.
7. Luckily, the changed.
8. On the following day, the maid forgot to clean my room but the hotel owner was there and ready to get everything done.
9.The best thing of the hotel was the service that the night shift manager and his team helped me and understand what the customers wanted.
10.All in all, apart from the cleanness and readiness of the room, the hotel was just OK.
NNandiniSimply Wow!
My family and I stayed at this gorgeous place for over a week and enjoyed our stay. The owner, Mr. Abhinav Singh, personally takes care of every need of the tourists and goes the extra mile to make sure that the tourists are comfortable and are having a pleasant experience. The property is very immaculate, and all the famous places in Varanasi are nearby.
Mr. Abhinav Singh helped us organize our amazing trip to Varanasi, and also our awesome journey to Ayodhya Dham and Vidhyavasini Dham Shaktipeeth. The staff and drivers are always willing to help with a pleasant smile on their faces, they all are very kind, cooperative, respectful and warm people.
I recommend this Hotel Golden Lotus Varanasi to everyone. I am grateful to Mr. Singh, all the drivers and the staff. Many blessings to all.
GGuest UserHotel is good however there were no curtains at washroom, glasses were dirty, water container was damaged. Staff was good, location is superb,
DDzianis RThe location of the hotel is god if you want to live near Ganga ghats and get there by walking. The room wasn't clean, in the wardrobe was a dirty sheet, one bottle with shampoo was half-used. We left hotel early in the morning (between 5-6 a.m.) to have a sunrise boat ride. There was a sleeping staff member near the reception and we didn't want to wake him up. But when we returned we was asked to say if want to go early and had to return to the hotel before 22-30. And we were extra charged for 157 rupees during checking out, even though we had prepaid the whole amount of money via trip's app. The manager said that trip.com haven't civered the whole summ and we had to pay more.
MMrs KhadkaThe service at Hotel Sun Grand was excellent. The staff were very attentive and made every effort to provide prompt and friendly service. Their smiles and willingness to help added to the overall pleasant experience. The food was tasty, and the service was timely too. The staff also provided excellent late-night vehicle service. They ensured that we had a convenient and safe transportation option, which was especially helpful during our stay. Their commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. Overall, my experience at this hotel was enjoyable and comfortable. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserHotel was located far away from main road and we have walked a lot to reach out the hotel by taking guidance of local people. Toilet was very small and we could not bath properly. Only good part was the ”rooftop cafe” which provided very healthy food based on indian and international menu.
