2-Star Hotels in County Dublin, Ireland

I went to the same hotel with a friend and absolutely loved it. The room was clean, and the shared bathrooms, including the showers, were also spotless. The lounge was my favorite spot because it felt so comfortable and cozy; it was our quiet place to relax after all the walking around Dublin. I adored that the reception staff tried to communicate in Spanish. On the other hand, the buffet was pretty good. I thought there might be more options, based on my experiences at other hotels in Spain, but for a simple and peaceful breakfast, it was wonderful. I also loved the garden. My friend and I are long-distance, and I met him in person at this hotel. I felt warmth and comfort there. For having met my friend there, who I'm going to miss, and for the trust the hotel gave me, even though I'm not one to share a room, I will always be eternally grateful and will never forget the place. Thank you so much. Bye bye Gardiner House Hostel, bye bye to my friend, and bye bye to Dublin. I leave with both nostalgia and happiness ❤️🩹

I was looking for a place to spend the night with my partner on a quick business trip in Dublin, and prices were horrific (as usual) until I saw this option. As someone who has lived months in Tokyo at a capsule hotel, I was excited to see the concept brought to Ireland. We found the capsules quite spacious, and I personally had one of the best nights sleep in a long time. For 30 euro a night, we could have possibly not found anything better for two people. We did find that there was some room for improvement in certain aspects. First, the bathrooms are in the basement and we were on the second floor, so it was quite a trip if you needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. They were also quite busy, with just three bathrooms for the whole building.  The USB slots in our capsule were also not working, which was quite inconvenient and we had to charge our phones in the kitchen.  But overall, I would give this place a very high rating, as we had a very comfortable stay and we will certainly be coming back again soon.

It was a good stay. I'm looking forward for future stays. It is comfortable. And clean and suitable for busy travelers and workers. The pods have blue lights for sleep in addition to the white light. Lockers have their own locks . very professional and friendly and respectable staff . The bar is beautiful and they have music nights and gigs sometimes. The location is great and is right next to everything. I was able to show up to work within 5 minutes of leaving. They serve food and drinks. Didn't see any public computers for use. Overall exceeded my expectations

The hotel is in the city center. It's a 10-minute walk from the Dublin Express airport bus stop. There are many bus options nearby to get to other attractions, and most Galway tour group meeting points are also in this area. The bathrooms and showers are very clean, and the staff cleans them frequently. The only downside is that accommodation prices in Dublin are generally very expensive.

I so much loved the lodge, it was so very clean, the location was so easy as it is just few minutes walk from the Dublin city center, the most amazing part is that the airport bus 41 stops right in front ot the Abbott Lodge so using google map is also very easy. The service is top notch and the reception is 247. Room so clean and the bed is big even with extra bed for kids.

Great experience. The room was clean and smells good when we arrived. They provided the toiletries, utensils, and they have washing machine, tumble dryer, water kettle, and microwave. They have almost what you need. They are very accommodating, and responsive. The location wasn’t too far from all places that we went. We’ll recommend this hotel.

The beds are comfortable. Quite well located, not too far from the center (25 minutes on foot). The Yellow Café next door is excellent for breakfast. The shower for the room isn't actually in the room itself, but it's very close by, quite spacious, and clean.

The hotel is right next to a bar that plays music and has live bands until 2.30am. Our room was on the first floor the side of this, it was not good after a long travel day. The hotel itself was a good location and clean, if you’re going for nightlife I recommend, if you’re going for day drinking and a good nights sleep steer clear!

Management does not reply email requests, unfortunately. I asked to receive a refund or date change for a room shared booking as I needed a private room such day and did not receive an answer :-(
