This family hotel is quite acceptable. It's located on the right after the traffic light at the train station, then into the courtyard. It's quiet and close to the train station, making it convenient for catching a train. The hostess was quite welcoming. The room was relatively new and had a balcony. Toothbrush and toothpaste were provided, but you had to bring your own towels and toiletries, or they could be purchased for a fee. Just be careful. I wish the sanitation was better!

GGuest UserUsing the National Day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, I went to Shijiazhuang, the last provincial capital city I hadn't been to, and chose this hotel and stayed for three nights. This hotel is in a moderate location, convenient to find food around, and close to the subway station; the room is clean and tidy, dry and wet separation, and comfortable to live!

JJC_CJFacilities: This is a ski-in/ski-out apartment, right on the slopes. Super convenient. Cleanliness: The room was very clean. The disposable toiletries were simple but complete. Environment: Parking is easy right outside the unit, and the charging station is also very close. No anxiety for electric car owners. Service: The ski pass discount was excellent, even cheaper than booking it myself on other platforms. I had a great time skiing at Genting and Wanlong this trip.

RRudmer WigleI had an excellent stay at this guest house. The family that runs it is very friendly and very helpful. Not a lot of English is spoken, but don't let that deter you, it's a very welcome place and they'll take care of your needs. They can provide a lot of info on visiting the Wall and the location is just a hundred meters from the entry gate to the Jinshanling Wall. Even though it's still a few 100 meters walking after that, this is the closest you can stay in case you want to get on the wall for sunrise. Dinner was very tasty. I would definitely come back!

As mentioned, friendly owner upgraded us to the suite (3 rooms + living room + kitchen) for 2 nights, then we went to the rooms we had booked initially, as another family had booked the suite. Photos are of 1 of the rooms in the suite, with attached garden, but upstairs isn't too different (4 rooms, all brand-new). Everything is very clean, as advertised. Owners do speak some English, so no problem communicating (anyway, my wife, daughters and sister-in-law speak Chinese so it wouldn't have been a problem). Owner also arranged for a car to bring us to the various entrances, and the train station the last day, so it was all very smooth, we only had to climb the Great Wall, which was gorgeous (we knew Jinshanling is one of the most beautiful sections). We look forward to coming back, at a different time of the year (end of winter or end of autumn), so we look forward to coming back again... and tasting your cooking too ! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable !!!

CCopper_yanAn incredibly satisfying stay that exceeded all expectations! This time, on a ski trip to Chongli, I booked a room at the Housnow Homestay based on a friend's recommendation. The actual experience, however, completely surpassed that of a typical hotel. 1️⃣ **Exceptional Service**: After booking, the owner immediately created a group chat, adding relevant staff for check-in arrangements, housekeeping, ski equipment rental, and more. The owner's service was personalized and customized throughout; they went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. I was particularly embarrassed when I accidentally left something on the table at the entrance, but the staff immediately sent it via SF Express – truly outstanding service. 2️⃣ **Excellent Facilities**: The room was incredibly spacious. We stayed in a two-bedroom, one-living-room unit, and each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom. There was also a Xiaomi humidifier (absolutely essential in Chongli). Since the homestay shares a lobby with Xuelu Residence, we were immediately impressed by the warm, solid-wood Christmas ambiance upon entering. The homestay's rooms also featured warm tones and solid-wood furnishings, which I absolutely loved. It's worth noting that the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and all the bathroom fixtures were ROCA, which was fantastic. 3️⃣ **Convenient Location**: The homestay's location is excellent. From the lobby, it's just about a hundred meters walk to the Thaiwoo Ski Resort lobby, where you can get your ski passes and start skiing. Within a hundred meters, you'll also find the Thaiwoo Lifestyle Zone with a Lawson convenience store and dining options. There's a parking lot right downstairs from the homestay, and the elevator goes directly there, so you don't have to go outside – super convenient! In summary, it truly exceeded all expectations. The owner is a person of great character with meticulous and thoughtful service. Many thanks! I'll definitely choose your place every time I come to Chongli, haha. I'm going to recommend you to everyone I meet!!! Wishing the owner a booming business~~

Because the plane arrived at the airport at 10:30 in the evening, it was already more than 11 o'clock to carry the luggage out to the hotel. When I woke up, I found that it was almost 11 o'clock the next day. I hurried to wash and eat. I forgot to take photos of the interior of the room. However, I will come to Shijiazhuang next month. I will go to the airport at night in the future. This is the best choice. It is not far from the ancient city of Zhengding. It costs three yuan to take the bus 🚍 156 at the airport. BBig FheezohI'm a business tourist from the USA, stayed at this hotel almost 2 weeks and they all made me feel at home. This hotel excels in customer service...and I don't say that lightly. I've stayed in almost 12 different hotels in my extensive travels across China and in general, hotel personnel attitudes tend to be cold, formal and impersonal. But staff at this hotel....from front desk, to restaurant and cleaning staff are very personable, warm and friendly. The ladies at the front desk are super sweet, kind, friendly and helpful. The lady that checked me in was very nice. Another front desk lady (she told me not to mention her name) went out of her way to spend hours on the phone and online to help me resolve some serious online order logistics issues because I don't speak Chinese. If I was looking for a Chinese wife, I woulda sly slid a wedding ring on her finger before she knows what hit her 😜😂 I sure 'nuff enjoyed my stay....and heck yeah I'll be back!!!

GGuest UserThe hostel is super trendy! Walking in, I had to make sure I was at the right place because the reception is a cosy bar! The staff did not speak English but we overcame the language barriers using WeChat. Everyone is very friendly and patient! Even the dog called 由由! The cubicle beds are more luxurious than other hostels I stayed at. They are spacious and provide almost complete privacy. I also received slippers, so it was extra cosy! The bathroom can be improved because without shower curtain even the toilet gets wet, but it is spacious enough to keep your clothes dry. This hostel is suitable for longer stays as well, especially with friends because they have many activities and games at the hostel. Reception helps with the organisation of tours to the grasslands and many other trips as well (although these tours are fully in Chinese. So some Chinese language skills are recommended). If I ever return to Chengde, then I will stay there again!

OOMGitsJassyRoom was on 6th floor, nobody helped us find it, towels and bedsheets were old and with holes 🥲 walls were visibly repaired some parts got teared apart wallpapers, some lights on the ceiling didn’t work so room was quite dark, bathroom sink was outside near the door, shower water became cold after 10 minutes of use and water was dripping from heater right on your head and all over the floor, there was no smell in the room, view was carpark between two taller buildings, mattress and pillows were surprisingly soft, we stayed two days nobody came to take out the trash or renew the toilet paper/water 😂 seems there is no cleaning at all. Only cozy corner was the armchairs in front of of the window, if you wanted slippers you should pay for it extra 20¥😂we were mostly outside so for one time bearable stay but i can’t recommend maybe only for affordable price and excellent location … oh yeah bed was too short and our feet stayed outside😆

TTommy ChawAt the beginning it is hard for me to choose even the review is positive, but when I arrive and check in, I totally change my view. The surrounding is cozy, the room are clean with no cigarette odour even they provide ash tray in the room (suggest owner take away the ash tray and put a notice smoke at provider smoking area out side the premises), toilet are bright and water pressure is good (but hope the owner can make a little bit changes for the wiring system of the water heater), the food is tasty and size are too big for solo traveller (suggest to owner set a price for small size for not wasting food), the owner parents are friendly and always give the good service. At night, surrounding is quite and good to rest. it is a walking distance to Jing shang ling tourist center but if planning to do the sunrise walk the owner will provide a transfer service to the entrance at 330am. Overall it is a good choice to stay here.
