3-Star Hotels in Attica, Greece

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, and I'd like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Joanna at the front desk! She was incredibly kind and gentle, with an elegant and graceful demeanor. Her politeness and thoughtfulness in handling everything were truly exceptional. We had an urgent need to print some documents during our trip, and Joanna was so enthusiastic and proactive in helping us, efficiently resolving the issue without a hitch. Her warm and friendly service was incredibly refreshing and truly cured our travel fatigue, perfectly showcasing the wonderful hospitality of the people of Athens. She truly is a bright and moving highlight of this city, and she made our Athens trip especially unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

We arrived after 10 PM. I was a bit hesitant about taking a taxi, as I'd seen previous guest comments mentioning safety concerns. However, the area around the airport metro station was quite lively, and the hotel was just a short walk, a few hundred meters, off the main road. The front desk staff were lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Once we got into our room and saw the Acropolis lit up at night, all my worries completely melted away.

Hotel Tier is conveniently located near Metaxourghio metro station, just a mere 3 min walk from hotel. From this station, 3 stops to Syntagma which is the city centre. There are bistros and cafes nearby. We arrived at 1130am and because the room was already cleaned staff checked us in immediately without having to wait till 3 pm. Thank you for that. Room is very small even though the beds can fit 3 pax with one queen and one single bed. Hardly space to open your luggage. Bathroom is clean but small. The lift is really tiny that can only fit 1 person with luggage. Staff is very kind, helpful and friendly. Overall still a comfortable stay for just one night.

The location of the hotel is not too bad, quite near to the train station and about 15 minutes away from the Acropolis. Check-in and check-out were easy and the facilities were good. However, a major issue was that there were 2 blackouts throughout the evening, with the 2nd blackout lasting more than 7 hours from 2130H to 0500H the next morning. I had no choice but to sleep in my cold room as there was no heating, no lights and no electricity available. Overall, a rough night of sleep but if they can ensure that there are no blackouts, then this is easily a decent 4 star hotel.

Lovely little hotel with helpful staff. The train station is across the road from the hotel, which is very handy. The room was spacious enough for me. It got cleaned most days. The hotel is about a 25-30 minute walk to the main attractions (or you can just get on a train). I just googled places and walked everywhere. Never felt in danger walking around (that includes night time, too). There are a couple of mini supermarkets around the corner from the hotel with a variety of different things (fresh produce, etc). My room had a nice view of the city, and the sun was shining on my balcony most of the day, I could watch sunset (see photo) My ONLY negative was the smoking. The cleaner would smoke in her cleaning room, and when I got fresh towels, they smelt of cigarettes. Smoke travels, and I always knew when she had arrived or when she was smoking. I noticed that the hotel is a non-smoking hotel, but other guests were smoking on their balcony. Other than that, I had a nice, clean, and relaxing stay here. I would stay here again, super cheap and cheerful.

The room was great – spacious, clean, and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities, making for a comfortable stay. It's also conveniently located near the metro station, just a few minutes' walk away. Nearby, there's a century-old yogurt shop called Stani, and their walnut honey yogurt is delicious. The only downsides were the small front desk and the rather unassuming entrance. The surrounding buildings also looked a bit run-down, making the immediate area feel a bit shabby. However, I found Athens as a whole to be quite old and a bit like a large county town, not very European at all. The food also had a distinct Middle Eastern flair.

the location of my room was very bad. The AC is only working on hot mode and the room was hot all the time. Breakfast was very limited. The room is very small and there is no closed storage for your cloths.  The staff is friendly. Overall was ok if u decide to stay in an average hotel.

The place is very different from most hotels.... but the service was amazing... the staff was so helpful and took care of everything with professionalism...

Not only the hotel for airport use, but also the beach in front of the hotel, which is the best day to enjoy. The hotel was also clean and especially Andreas, who picked up the airport, was very friendly. Thank you Andreas for trying to pick up and drop off at the airport.

Absolutely. The only downside is the poor safety record; if you ignore that, I can confidently say it's a great hotel. I would recommend this hotel.
