DudeStarWith a very cheap price for a hotel very closed to the central station, I can’t say any bad word.
I booked a cheapest room with breakfast. It is a not luxury, but a small room which has everything and everything works fine. Beds are so soft and comfy, I slept really well.
Breakfast is really good. I can’t believe this is a breakfast from a cheap hotel, much much better than many of pricey hotels I’d stayed.

I love this place! If i ever come back to Finland i will definitely stay here again. It’s right in the city centre and walking distance to the main city’s attractions . You can even walk to Senate Square!! The place itself is very clean, very complete with kitchen appliances which and also Muslim friendly as it got bidet… it is easy to check in with the code as well!!

M I ParamitaWe reached at midnight due to a delay in our flight, and there’s no staff around at all. After finding clues, we found out we had to check in on our own in the machines provided. There could have been better signage to point out this or chat to the travel agencies, especially during hours that there’s no staff around to prevent wasting time. There’s no cleaning given to the rooms on days 1& 2, and cleaning will be done on day 3, so if you stay just for 2 nights? Bummer like ours. However, to our surprise, the trash bin in the toilet was not cleaned, and there’s even blood there! It was a very unpleasant experience for us. It’s one thing not to clean for 2 nights, but at least make sure everything is properly cleaned! We found out on our own also that there’s free storage, but you had to activate it correctly before checking out; otherwise, it would not work. Thankfully, we found out about this on time; otherwise, we would incur charges and hassle to keep our luggage in luggage services elsewhere since we would not be able to keep things inside the room without a card issued by the machine. Again, it’s one thing to do everything automatically, but you must inform customers first on this. Hotel location was great. Not so far from metro and tram station. At midnight, tram was still working from the central station to the hotel side thankfully as metro has closed for the day. I have not tried the metro since tram is more convenient to go to the sightseeing places.

Guest UserThe location of this hotel is excellent, the room is spacious too. It is right on top of a Vietnamese pho shop, before the Solo Sokos Hotel Torni. It distributes its door code via email and can only be use after 4pm. The door code is used for the door entering the building, the elevator to your floor and to enter your room. So one must be extremely careful when you leave your room, if you forget anything, it's gonna be troublesome. This hotel is closed to a shopping mall called Forum with eateries inside. In Helsinki, buffet is very popular, especially the sushi buffet, I wonder why :)

Me and my mom needed an apartment to be able to visit family member who was in hospital. We needed a kitchen and a washing machine. The room had both and no problem with those. I suspected kitchen knife would be dull and it was, but I brought a knife sharpener and got it sharp. Otherwise everything in kitchen was okay but stove wasn't that powerful.
The building's main door's lock wasn't functioning and we informed about it and it was fixed but only after about a week. Our apartment's lock worked all the time without problem. Also one lamp was broken.
Mom said it was cold there and it wasn't exactly warm there, good enough for me and blankets were really thick. I complained about coldness and a serviceman came there to do something to radiators but it didn't really change anything. We were there in very early spring. It was 0C outside at night and 5-10C at daytime.
There was some communication errors but nothing major and I was able to get hold of someone quickly and easily with the online chat.
It was quite clean there except if you take bedclothes off you might enjoy the sight on pillow and blanket.
All and all I was quite pleased of the room and stay.

dummm22Although it's a bit far from the central station, there's a tram stop nearby. There's also a convenience store, which was handy. Having read the reviews and prior emails, self-check-in was a breeze. The room was tidy, clean, and comfortable. The curtains didn't close completely, so during the midnight sun, depending on the room's orientation, you might wake up early, but that was also a unique experience! The washing machine required a reservation, and gel pods were provided. There was no hairdryer in the room; instead, there's a service station on each floor where you can rent one using your room key. There were only four available, so I imagine it could be a struggle during peak hours. Once I got used to it, it wasn't a problem. The prompt responses via WhatsApp and email were very reassuring.

Guest UserLocation is great right next to Malmi train station and bus station, only roughly 20mins ride away from Helsinki centre. Cleaning can be done a bit better at the edges, dust is fairly visible. Hair dryer can be borrowed from the service station on each floor, but they only got two on each floor to share. Shower door is not fully blocking water from getting out, though there’s a drain on the other side of the bathroom but shower water shouldn’t go that way. Washer and dryer are free to use, just have to book it by writing your room number in the book at the laundry room. There’s share space and sauna. Staff is not there 24/7 so it’s a bit tricky to get help outside hours, especially when arriving on weekends and expected to store luggage way before the check in time, it is impossible . Overall I would stay here again, just need to plan things out accordingly. Also a place suitable for long stay.

gidroponixThe hotel looks fairly new, and the room has everything you need. You can get a hairdryer from the closet on the floor using your key card. The washing machine right in the room is very convenient. On the downside, the hotel is located far from the city center, and due to railway maintenance, I couldn't use the nearest station; I had to take a bus to get there. I also reduced rating due to cleanliness: there was trash in my room from the previous guest (inside kitchen zone shelves), and the balcony was very dusty, so I had to use a towel to fix it.

MrBlueSkyThere's nothing else to complain about, just that it's a bit far. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and it was a bit tough dragging luggage up the slope. This is an older apartment, but all the facilities are complete. There's a fridge, an iron, a microwave, and a kettle. Overall, it's considered clean, even though it's genuinely old.

LeeciousThis is a self-service hotel. A door code is sent to you before arrival. It's in a great location, with nearby restaurants and a convenience store across the street. Very close to Stockmann mall, Trams available about 2 streets away. I requested for tea and I found a generous amount of tea bags waiting for me. They also have a microwave, a mini fridge and electric kettle. The only problem was the bed. It wasn't comfortable for me. But if you are on a low budget, this is the best place to be.
